Hi Lisa. I noticed that the second cruiser going under the bridge, Enchantress, was privately owned. No big boatyard backup there then. It looks like the water levels have been high all year. A guy at my boatyard said to me that he doubted if any of their boats had gone through Wroxham bridge this year. I went home via Coltishall just to have a look at the moorings. It looked desolate and empty. Just a couple of small private boats. It must be impacting on the takings at the Rising Sun public house. Half term next week so I imagine it will start to slow down afterwards. The shopping situation at the bridge doesn't sound too good. Richard Notts
Hi Richard, No help for the private ones, no. Flood Alerts out for the Bure, Ant and Thurne tomorrow. The barrier at Potter Heigham is being raised tomorrow afternoon. All happening here Richard. Have a good weekend. 👋🏻
Wow , those 2 first boats had a close call , i did'nt think enchantress would get through , i noticed that sandfly was being towed through , that's actually a sandersons ex hireboat , that must have been the only one that we did'nt hire lol .this month seems to be flying through , it does'nt seem 2 minutes since WE were down there .
Lovely video as usual Leesa but such a shame boatyards are having a difficult time getting boats under the bridges😔 I can’t remember it being so bad in the past, only Potter Heigham bridge really required a pilot but boats folded down in height and a good pilot got them through, maybe a combination of higher water levels and bigger boats. I really feel for all the local businesses on the other side.
Seems as though we have hardly had a summer (with normal river levels). The No Mooring - Mast lowering area signs aren't (or cant) be read still I see!
The flooding we had here , on the Norfolk Broads last winter lasted months. Never seen it like it before and never want to witness it that bad again. Unless you saw it, it’s impossible to imagine the scale of disruption to this area.
The video went Live 13 days ago, so some time in the days before. As soon as my video is uploaded, I delete all the footage from my phone, so sadly I can’t look back and get an exact date. You could always try asking Richardson’s boat yard as they got the cruiser under the bridge. Hope this helps.
Thanks for replying. We were on the broads at the time you were probably filming. The water level was very high at Ludham. Clearance of 7ft 4 inches when we were there.
Thanks Lisa, for taking us along to Ludham Bridge to see all the boats in the lovely sunshine. Take care and all the best. Stevie
What ever will I film through the winter ? Footpaths I guess
Nice to see an original ‘Caribbean’ (13.37) and looking in very good condition too 😊
Just when I think I’ve seen almost every boat, long comes a different one. You’ll see in Fridays video. 🛥️
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the video of Mrs Barrable, caught her at last! Good to have a chat the other day too.
I wonder who Mrs Barrable is ? 🛥️
15min56sec in. Mrs Barrable named after artist and protagonist of "Coot Club" by Artur Ransome.
@@andrewknights1304 oh wow , I’m glad I asked now.
Lovely as always
Thank you 🛥️🛥️🛥️

Well done Enchantress... 👍👍
Yes excellent job
@@NewnameSameme Yes but life jackets may have been a sensible idea!
Hello mi duck. That’s a lot of work for Richardsons 🥰😍😘❤️
It is.
Thank you both for another lovely day 📸
@@NewnameSameme thank you Leasa ❤️😘

Time flies.
Far too fast but it does mean Spring will be back here before we know it. Just the winter to get through first 😀

The saline barrier is going up today at Potter. Let’s just hope any flooding this year, is nothing like last year. x
Great video still a lot of boats around
It’s seems a lot quieter today but I believe it’s half term next week.
I must admit that I thought it would be worse than that, what with the Super Moon spring tides and all the recent rain.
I saw a post saying the barrier at Potter Heigham is being raised this afternoon.
Roll out the barrel...
We'll have a barrel of fun!
Sorry... Could not resist that one.
😂😂😂

They want be doing this next year - Richardson cancelled my boat for April due to the issue of getting under Ludham bridge

Hi, when did ypu actually film this?

I presume you mean the water barrels?

I hope you had a great holiday.
Never seen water barrels used like this before 😂
Obviously it works
Yes, works really well getting the taller cruisers under the bridge.
Thank you for watching.
Nice to see the chap on the bank with the rope wearing a life jacket 🙄 Fool.
