The printed text on the face is a dead giveaway on fake Casios, they just cannot seem to nail the thickness correctly. It's always much thicker than the genuine model. Same goes for the battery plate, the inscriptions always way too big and cheaply inscribed. It's amazing in and of itself that such cheap watches are being faked, but I guess it adds up since people buying them are not expecting such cheap watches to be faked. They must make a killing off of these.

Sorry Hugh, you stated the Casio was fake and pointed out your reasons why you thought it so....but failed to do a side-by-side comparison, you also failed to exposé the finer details via close-up/macro photography. So, I doubt the Casio was indeed a fake. Its a cheap watch and not worth anyone the money, time or effort tooling up to counterfeit it....then retail it for 20 bucks! It costs tens of thousands of dollars to make a fake watch which is why they always go high-end like Rolex, Breitling, Hublot, Tag Heuer, etc. Then sell for $200+ and start to regain their outlay.

It's funny, I've never heard anybody talk smack about Oris. Pretty much every other brand gets lambasted or at least nit picked constantly, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone throw shade on Oris. Even some of the snobby rolex bros have respect for the brand.

Dude...wtf!? Your Casio is genuine, not fake! This one has a plastic/Resin / Chrome plated case...so it's normal...just weight it, it's 47 g in Casio site. So don't tell crap if you don't know! That casio for sure is autentic! Lol ridiculous video!

I am curious about build quality. I think the perception of rolex having better build quality is mostly due to its fame recognition. Longines is a much older watch making company. Im not saying they dont have good build quality but I think other companies which are cheaper could have just as much or better build quality as well.

In the UK a new one of these will cost you £2050 which is $2500 usd, or about $4000 Australian. I bought a good used pink version, and the watch is gorgeous

You forgot to add the dedication they put into helping the environment, as some of there profits from there limited edition sales go into helping the marine life.

I prefer the Tissot Gentleman because of a few reasons. I don't like the cyclops on the datejust. I like the looks of the butterfly clasps on Tissot and I don't mind not having micro adjustment.

Just ordered the 44mm black version, but in quartz... I like the accuracy, and not having to spend hundreds on service ever so many years... just set it and forget it and toss a new battery in it occasionally for $6...

I‘m a watch enthusiast, collector, buy and sell automatic watches. I have several watches from Rolex, Omega and even a Patek. But I have also a Oris pilot C with the new 5dys power reserve. So in my view is Oris even more innovative as the other brands and still or because of their independence. This is the differentiator: be special, high end quality, no overpriced or waiting list nonsense. Yes Oris delivers Luxury with innovation and no price add one that does not reflects the product quality. To sum it up: Swiss made, high quality, independent, manufacture calibers and great price points. This is the only brand that delivers in all aspects and fulfills truly luxury expectations. I’m having my Oris pilot x as my daily watch and enjoy the 5 day power reserve that would at least 3 times more expensive, if an IWC, Panerai or other logo would me mentioned. I have 10 years warranty on my Oris and are not concerned about the COSC certification, as my watch runs max on -2/+2 sec a day range. The rest is Marketing which gives you no real value back.

Don't care if Oris is luxury brand or not as long they make great watches for a reasonable price.

Simply because label execs have them mention these brands to help those brands and themselves make money. Most of them wouldn’t know anything about those brands if it weren’t contracted for them to mention them. Same with amiri jeans and other brands. If every rapper is mentioning it you better believe it’s in the contracts.

I bought the 41mm preowned and I am amazed at the time keeping precision. It's a beautiful dress/sport/dive wristwatch.

This video did not age well. 😂 Tag Heuer is amongst still one of the finest watch brands today. They listen to their customers and have upgraded their parts and movements to some of the best in the industry. Not to mention their upgraded beautiful designs recently. Their pricing is spot on for the quality you get compared to paying overpriced brands such as Omega or Rolex.

I love this particular model, so much so that I have several fakes for mod material. Not sure whether his watch is fake since he didn't really showed the watch, but you should be able to tell from the caseback. The real one is stamped stainless steel with deep-crisp text, fakes are usually wobbly, distorted, either etched or engraved. Better yet, open it and see the module.
