I just recently became aware of the "controversy" of the Aikon. Personally, I think the watch easily stands on it own merits. And even the mere suggestion that ML somehow copied elements of the AP is insulting. The only area that is remotely similar is the face. Yet I've seen that face on other watches as well. So why are people getting their feathers in ruffle? I love my AP and ML equally well.

Grand seiko is the true definition of cheap and affordable luxury that MVMT, vincero etc are trying to achieve. No wealthy, successful, legendary people wants to wear a Seiko that's a fact! All grand seiko owners are middle class at most.

It is just my humble opinion, but I think the Gentlemen have better regulated movements in general, on top of the silicon balance spring. Mine runs +3 secs a day and you can find many reviews here on TH-cam with nearly the same accuracy. The PRXs are inferior in almost every aspect I think. If I had to choose it would be a no brainer to go with the Gentleman.

Oris is the gatekeeper to luxury in my opinion. I have a Breitling SuperOcean 44 and used to have an Aquis 39.5. They feel very similar in quality holding them side by side. I’d say Oris>Breitling>Omega>Rolex Also Fuck Tag they are overpriced for what you get

Fossil is overpriced junk. Casio and Tissot are always awesome but only the Lunar Pilot is a proper alternative because it has actually been to the moon.

There is luxury and stupidity…Oris is luxury. Rolex is stupidity. You have to be an idiot to spend all this money in a Rolex. For the price of a single Rolex, you can build a nice collection of high quality swiss watches.

Do you know that you are showing us 2 different models of the watch here? The one with the 15, 30, 45 on the bezel is an older version and the 10,20,30 bezel is the newest version. Also, the older version has additional markers on the dial. Pay attention, dude.
