The dark black bay you had in video was steel pvd watch. They have released ceramic previously but it was the fast rider chrono never the black bay. Thought you’d like to know. They did do a full blacked out dial, indices, lume, ceramic black bay a year or two ago for the one watch charity auction. That was a 1 off piece done only for the auction, it was on an alligator strap and sold for 350-370,000 Suisse franks…that also had non metas non modified movement like the current watch does.

I also hope the Tudor Pelegos gets some attention like the Black Bay and Black Bay 58

Yea same, it’s a cracker of a watch. But at the Same time, Tudor aren’t really being that creative

@@HorologywithHugh very true , i hope to see more pieces like the Heritage Chrono. I absolutely adore the look of those.

Yes, I don't get all the hate. This is not a black-black and the off white markers and hands make the dial legible. The blacked out bezel ring may not be great for diving. The ceramic case and bezel ring make this very scratch resistant. So while it may not be great for diving, it is a weekend warrior.

@@HorologywithHugh sometimes not being creative and creating what the market demands is the best course of action.
‘Creativity’ can be way off the mark a lot of times.

What are the names of the 2 other black bay ceramic models? 🙏

The ceramic black out was a 1-off made for a charity auction. The other one is PVD coated steel. This new model is ceramic with some PVD coated bits (crown, case back and bezel ring). The ceramic case and bezel inset means this watch is very scratch resistant. The new movement is COSC and METAS certified and makes good use of the display case back. This is much less money than the Omega ceramic SeaMasters. Quite an aggressive move by Tudor and even if this is not great for diving because of the blacked out bezel, it is a great weekend warrior.
