best thing for commandeer civ trains is if you have a nation where stability isn't an issue, say you get monthly stab or a massive bonus to stab, you can do commandeer just till the decision would go away, research armored, then commandeer again, for some reason the game resets your train count even though technically all that happened was you updated your most up to date train design, you can repeat this over and over for each train type afaik, but doing so would only be good if you get monthly/weekly stab and no major stab debuffs.

The shell shocked modifier is lost as soon as you go to war (with Belgium). I therefore consider the focii that help you get rid of it a little bit sooner not worth taking. For the rest, I'm 10 min into the video and really enjoying your play- and presentation style! Edit: seems some update added a condition to remove shell shocked spectator before you can get claims on Belgium, so ignore my advice.

Make sure to take the right design company that gives 5-10% less production cost, go down to open economy, can even do the +20% dockyard output focus. There is also a spirit where refits are 15% faster. Always go concentrated industry for navy builds, they give 10% dockyard output per tech. I choose this because I want high factory output to compensate for the low number of factories. Eventually you can get the special pp buff in design companies for 5-10% production discount, the 10% usually decreases range by 20%, which is perfectly fine for heavy ships, but not for destroyers. (As Japan you can add another 30% dockyard output with the favor navy decisions) Everything toghetter, you are able to cut your refit times by 50%, late game your ships are built 50-60% faster and as Japan, you will pump out a boatload of boats.

Dude being so fr the Americans navy if they would've been smart and put 2 groups there flag ships for both being enterprise and Lexington the could've surrounded u and could've kilt ur navy in south China but with heavy loses and they would've ran back to pearl just to re attack your second fleet
