Merry Christmas guys, I hope y’all enjoy the vid and have a good holiday. Also full transparency, I did use the “annex Italy” command. After beating the Germans, I had accomplished my goal, but it would feel weird to just quit the vid when Germany was defeated, so a compromise I had for myself was I’d cheat with Italy but only after beating Germany. I didn’t need to do that with the other axis minors because I had them mostly beaten already. Also it was 1957, my computer was begging me to stop melting its cpu, and I really didn’t want to play too much longer. Feel free to show your displeasure by liking the vid and subscribing.
My wet dream is what you did. Im Soviet Onion Fan. I played it for 400 hours, in all possible ways. I conquered japan in 1937 on ironman historical. Then i conquered china in 1939. In other runs i conquered Turkey&Romania in 1937-1938 and easilly defended it. I played as All Russian ways, and its amaizing. Once before the Soviet - German war, I helped Germany to win Allies with Cheats, so that I ll be their only problem, oh And also i made it stronger, +50% and Italy stronger, and weakend my self. Still an easy win. The problem with Playing as Germany and then swapping to SOV is next, firstly Germany will change their Divisons template and all other shit, it will hold all the Naval territories, spending 999 divisions on that, if they beat Allies, And The Soviet Is just disgusting played as AI.

I did this challenge a while ago watching Bitt3r steel. But I made Germany too powerful and it took almost 1950 to beat the Germans as the Soviets. Merry Christmas mate.
Check the end of the vid. It took me till (spoiler alert) 1957 to beat them. They just had so much of everything. I shot down like 50k fighters, and they still had some flying around by the end.

17:48 Fun fact: This is historically accurate! In 1941, Yugoslavia joined the Axis, but due to public opposition, the king was overthrown, however Yugoslavia was promptly invaded from all sides. Some people blame Yugoslavia's coup as the reason for German losses in the eastern front, but in reality, there's little to no chance they could've won the war, regardless of what happened.
Afterwards, the Yugoslav resistance became one of the most effective resistance groups in Europe, if not _the most,_ and all of this with little support from the allies. The Yugoslav partisans were mostly Communists, with Socialists mixed in for some spice, which turned the Western allies away from them initially, so they instead favored France and Poland. Yugoslavia got minimal support from the Soviets, but even if the Soviets hadn't helped, the Yugoslavs would've still liberated their nation, it might've just taken an extra week or two.
There were also Chetniks
And I'd also argue that the belorussian partisans within USSR were the largest and most effective resistance group of the war. And if we combine them with the other groups of soviet partisans (mainly Russian, also Ukrainian) the combined resistance force of the whole USSR would definitely take the 1st place on that.
@@Философ USSR partisans weren't really a resistance group, they were integrated part of soviet armed forces, followed the central command and retreated along when the frontier moved. Unlike resistance groups in Yugoslavia, Poland, Greece and Albania who were on their own
Well it wasnt really the Public opinion, rather a coup staged from the allies and it delayed the soviet invasion for one and a half month, which is ALOT if you look at the speed the germans were advancing,the soviets wouldnt have capitulated because of that ofc, but they wouldve lost way more land, and probably some major citys and more of their populated and infrastructured area. With one and half month more, that is around 20% more time for the germans in the battle of moscow, look at the map at Wikipedia...that amount time more wouldve extremly strengthend the German positions and supply, especially at leningrad and sevastopol, isjum, Tula, and probably even moscow... I know ive written alot, way too much but if you know how close the germans were to the biggest populated citys in russia,the russians would not be able to rebuild their army like they did, in all terms, and Germany would have even more ressources and workers...more resitance ofc, but that doesnt outdo the gigantic gains Germany wouldve made in the FIRST year . With all these gains the invasion of the caucasus wouldve maybe even suceeded, and If, it wouldve been over for the soviets and many others, germany lacked fuel the entire war, with the caucasus that wouldnt have been a problem, and the allies cant bomb the caucasus, like they bombed Germany...

You should try this again with all of axis (including Spain) max buffed. Maybe even use toolpack or set the focus trees at the start to get Portugal, Sweden, and Turkey to join the axis.

There should be a mod where you can record your through as a country and save it as the ai so that the future games use the method you played as.

Amazing! Except I noticed you had civ admin? Which is great for Czechia, absolutely amazing for that compliance gain. Everywhere else, Paradox have made it MUCH more painful on equipment and manpower in I think BBA or the latest DLC, either way the compliance is simply not worth it anymore, something like martial law is much more viable for keeping yourself from massive losses, except if you go for 90%+ hardness divisions

To handle tanks i always put support anti tank in my infantry divisions amd if i can afford it then one tank destroyer and one spaa imstead of the support aa and support at it also has the added benefit that it adds a bit of armour
Also when u get goebbles with the pp from rhineland then u can get up to war economy in early 1936 wich is way better for boosting ur early snowball

Nah, just learn from your mistakes. This is a complex game with tons to learn, but ALSO just because i think a particular way of doing things is correct doesn't mean it is. Everyone has different play styles, and when it comes to single player, as long as you're having fun, then you're playing correctly.

Fast tanks with good armor and soft attack. Also, micro, and don’t push your supplies. Have some infantry to hold, and tanks to push. Once your tanks are wrecking the front lines, use your infantry to field marshal attack. You don’t need a lot of troops, you just need to be quick to take the ports in Poland so the Allies can’t reenforce, and you need to wipe the Netherlands and then Belgium fast before the French can react. If the French can plug the front lines in the Benelux, it’ll be a massive slog, so you really really gotta be fast.
