The Fairy Tail Fans get criticized even When they spell out there opinions that's why even when the show is better than one piece and Naruto and bleach in terms of storytelling, villains, MC , OSTs , ops, worldbuilding in my opinion is slightly better than one piece The only bad thing is how Hiro Mashima handled the last arc He got rushed due to the deadline Day and he purposely skipped some important chapters to get to the last fight that was meant to happen

This is one of my favourite manga and the anime made it look ass

sadly enough alot of people also think that fairy tail is a bad anime cuz of the power of friendship and almost every person that dies just comes back alive. which for alot of peeps is a ick or downgrade, like some people are going so far to call it the worst anime of that time, which ig i get the point of almost no deaths in a shonen can be boring if they are brough back alive but fairy tail isnt the first anime to do this, dragon ball. goku died a couple time some of the character in dbz died yet just comes back alive so i dont understand the hate my favorite character in fairy tail is laxus and jellal

Bundgo Stray dogs is one of the in depth amazing anime of all time and it’s crazy it came out 8 years ago by far one of the best ending songs it had in its season finale and I listen to it daily ever since it came out a year ago ❤️‍🔥💯🤞🏾

This season is literally MHA with the way it has its own way of story telling that will tie to something that the series has had in the past in the past seasons and the anime’s are way more better than the past ones because the biggest animation grip is the hair being overlapped in the eyes of most of the characters ❤️‍🔥🙌🏾💯🤞🏾

Zeref was by far one of my most favourite characters in Fairy Tail aside from Laxus and Myistogan because those 2 guys are so cool with their back story and style with magic 🪄Also great video as always my G ❤️‍🔥🙌🏾💯

Pretty underrated villain. Ain't gonna lie, if it weren't for the curse affecting his mentality, Zeref could have been a more dangerous opponent, judging from his genius intelligence. Acnologia is in the same boat. His dragon slayer magic corrupted his mind into an genocidal monster, who just thirsts for meaningless destruction. On a side note, powerful male characters in Fairy Tail usually have a robust physique. Strangely, Zeref doesn't belong to that group. He only gain some muscles after absorbing Fairy Heart. That is some contradiction, lol. I always feel like Zeref and Acnologia should have been one character. They have similiar backstories, associate with black color, hold infamous reputation. The only difference is that Acnologia seeks revenge against dragons, while Zeref doesn't. It's suprising that a mere doctor from some hidden land somehow achieved the most powerul dragon slayer magic that devours all magics while a genius from a magical academy couldn't.

Some correction to your otherwise perfect video Zeref was also indirectly the cause of the Phantom Lord Arc By helping Mavis and the original guild members to learn magic they defeated Blue Skull, the surviving member of Blue Skull seeking revenge does eventually create Phantom Lord which lead to the Phantom Lord Arc, it's also called back by both ending with the use of Fairy Law For Zeref being overall contradictory I feel most of it it's just poetic irony and him genuenly being worn out by the curse Especially in the first half He does and think messed up things (like being happy Mavis is being cursed too cause now he got someone who can be close to him) because he is just that desperate, even expanding his territory and waging war is both because he is looking for a compromise with which to be close to others and be of use to humanity (cause he is also preparring for a fight with Acnologia) without getting too near also leading to many losing their lives since this is also just a game for him Early Zeref switch between kind, sad, misunderstood Zeref to twisted, violent and cold Zeref because of what the curse means for him as a person Whereas after Tenrou Island which is the straw that broke the camel's back he start to embrace the second side more than his first, cause he just got sick and tired of trying to compromise for the world, now it's time for the world to compromise for him Hence from GMG onward Zeref isn't sad and depressed anymore and just let Tartaros do their thing Him not waiting for Natsu isn't because the curse is making him act contradictory but because he waited for 400 years and Natsu was a disappointment when he found him, he still has some hope for him but he isn't as hopeful as before That's why when they meet again in the War Zeref say to Natsu proposal of killing him that if he was capable of it they wouldn't have got to that point in the first place but is willing to accept it if Natsu can actually pull it off I'm saying all of this cause while Zeref does act contradictory the way You phrase it make it look like he has way less agency than what he does have in the story, which is important for his character arc and also for his sin, because how Natsu say at the end he was ultimately just being selfish and sacrificing everyone for his needs The curse can send him crazy like in that bit of the final fight against Natsu but that's the exception, not the norm For what the Spriggan 12 represent regarding Zeref, I can't point out specifically traits or themes they both share (aside from the Top 3) but there is to point out how Zeref was firstly introduced in Chapter 12 of the manga and during his flashback chapter the cover of said chapter has Zeref with behind him a clock with roman numbers, which goes up only to 12 Zeref is a very time related character, being able to stop time, time reverse and wishing ultimately for a time-reset He did indeed studied in the Mildean Academy that is supposedly located in Mildean, which as explained by Ultear was the Capital of Time, Dimaria is a Mildean who used Take Over to absorb in her the local God, Chronos, God of Time Another "contradiction" I want to point out is how what Zeref want most could be accomplished by just loving Mavis back, but after "losing" her the first time he refuse to open himself to feel that way ever again, to the point where he go out of his way to make his subordinates speak of Mavis as an object rather than a person He is openly refraining himself from the problem solution There is also to notice when Makarov is playing cards with Yajeel, and he says "The key to winning is never letting go of your Goddess Card", with the card representing a girl very similar to Mavis, foreshadowing the answer from the very start

I'll be honest the first 3 episodes were entertaining but after that it was all over the place and made no sense and it got boring, I'm surprised it got a second season.

And yes he knew Mavis as shown in Zero, in fact Mavis is the same as him for an entirely different take of the same reason, but 107 ish years and most of that time being in a slumber that affected his memories, yeah... shouldn't be able to work but it does

Bro zeref is one of the most underrated villain 😢

Nah he aint forgotten. Everybody knows him but problem is that people who like to leave their brain on a graze (dont like to think just watch flashy colors) when watching anime, hate FT and will never addmit that it has well written characters. He is one of the best written villain out there. Just a correction: I don't think that the demons of tartaros represent any part of Zeref. Cause Zeref doesn't have memory loss nor does he have desire for battle (atleast not for the sake of destroying everything, he jus't wants someone powerful enough who could unalive him and end his suffering).

I gave this anime a chance, but the pacing was so bad I couldn't follow the story.

I'm so glad there's someone that talks about it and in this way I fell in love with Fairy Tail when I was a kid, but every anime discussion I ended up witnessing or having did nothing but drag it down, and honestly that hurt When I grew up I learned to just ignore it, don't care about it, but it still feels great seeing someone talking about the depths of this story

everything about fairy tail i truly love, each character is amazingly written and we have so many unique powers/concepts introduced throughout arcs and characters, Hiro Mashima done a great job

Unfortunately, this is a sad reality of all greedy Studios all they care is profit! Not good storytelling the studio who made this anime clearly does not respect the source material at all. If they did, they’ll give it the Frieren treatment!
