    If the team isn't empowered to figure out what the customer wants, if they still have to guess what the leader wants, then they aren't empowered at all. A competent team should be able to research and discover what the market wants and ship to meet those market demands.

    This is excellent. I still have a repeating problem with various co-contributors that are certain what my contribution is as an interaction designer. This sometimes includes picking up the dry cleaning.
