I keep getting an error on the first line (// Error: line 1: setAttr: No object matches name: FKIKLeg_R.FKIKBlend) I'm very new to Maya from Blender, and was having trouble with this script. I am using 2024 which I think might be the issue

it's just a sample. unfortunately, it's not compatible with your MetaHuman.
can you create a tutorial for it??
You can also enable skeleton compatibility and all animations will also be available. (But, for a more correct result, and for any changes in the pose for the entire set or a specific animation, I would recommend using retarget) otherwise you will then be tormented by correcting some unnatural bend of one finger.
Thx for this great video, i cannot figure how to ad this cache to the sequencer like your at 4:00 min, because i dont find "Garment Cache" while i searched for this and finaly found your great youtube channel. I m only able to replay this recorded cache in simulation or game mode :/

Is there anyway we can do the weight painting in UE?
You can also do weight painting in Unreal Engine, but I preferred using Maya for this project.

@@nicolaiv.9757 It interacts with the skeletal mesh, but I don’t think it affects the outcomes of Unreal Engine’s physics.

I have to admit, the render of the simulation with multiple garments is pretty amazing..! However, can you please, make a tutorial, on a to set up the weight painting in Maya, and then export it to Unreal, and finaly set up the style3D simulator plugin to get the result you obtained here? It doesn't work, because where is no able to export bulk as one file.
I have UE5.3 Anything dealing with metahumans crashes the engine I've lower all my settings decreased the resolution to 25 percent my game looks like a pixelated potato topping I've set the LODs to 6 and below I've made grooms into hair cards. What else do I need to turn off? It's bad enough metahumans don't have clothing

How about constraining the joints to the original geometry, then adding the effect of the new blendshape and lastly deleting the constraints while keeping the new position? After that you can reskin the face and remove the custom blendshape.
