"He loses way faster than XLR8" had to be something put in by the writers because they even hated Fasttrack. Like even they were saying that he was just a worse version
Knowing the track record the network probably MADE them use Fasttrack and they were stuck with being forced to use a speed alien they didn't want to use
I really think fastrack would have benefited from a different color scheme. Green, red, yellow, just any other color scheme besides blue and black again, because that is the same color scheme as xlr8.
Problem with Fasttrack is that everytime he was shown you already know he was going to get cooked in the worst way possible I don’t even hate him like that but currently he’s a fraud
@ it ain’t even that I hate him, just give him situational powers, like moving faster in the air or something, or being able to swim fast, even if other aliens do those things it’s still a way to improve him
Fasttrack needs a “locked in” story/showcase like they did with Ghostfreak, Feedback, or Upchuck. Maybe give Ben a scenario where he’s locked as Fasttrack and Ben takes the opinion of the audience and says how he doesn’t really see the point in Fasttrack in comparison to XLR8. Have him unlock a new ability with Fasttrack like with Swampfire. It would really make the hate end.
In my old Ben 10 OC story I wrote I made it where fasttrack and xlr8 can use their speeds in different ways. Like XLR8 can slow down time and create tornados etc. While Fastrack can phase through objects and throw kinetic force punches because of his human like figure. That’s how I fixed the problem 🤷♀️
@@user-iz7kc4ql7g doesn't count. Different show. Different crew. Crew that can actually animate intricate designs. Cause at the end of the day, this is why FastTrack exists: The UAF crew couldn't animate XLR8.
You know, with his more humanoid design, they could've distinguished Fasttrack more by giving him some acrobatic/parkour like skills instead of just making him a straightforward speedster like the flash. I'm not too sure if XLR8 is also capable of that, but I always felt like the spheres on his feet and his physique made it impossible to do things that required a bit more flexibility, and maneuverability.
Reminds me that many web-weaving spiders pair up their legs in a way that makes them easier to book into their webs, but makes moving outside of them considerably harder, whole hunter spiders don't. XLR8 has specialised equipment and thus should be faster overall when the terrain is optimal, but should limit its capabilities in general
@@peshomighty5051 because it's the omnitrix, it contains millions of DNA there's gonna be some overlap with powers, just wished they give him. Switch up some colors, give him quills, less humanoid, maybe some after images or double jump something.
Making XLR8 a runner and Fasttrack a fighter would've been a cool way to distinguish the two (though XLR8 was never a slouch in fights to begin with). As it is in the series, Fast Track just feels like "We Have XLR8 At Home".
6:01 My problem is that not only Fasttrack has the same powers as XRL8 but also the same or similar color scheme (black and blue). With the Electric aliens one would think "ok, since electricity is deeply linked to yellow, all will be yellow" but that wasn't the case, most have unique designs. I don't think speed has a color attach to it, but they chose to use black and blue twice for the aliens with that power, it felt lazy and Fasttrack didn't get an aditional power to at least justify having him instead of XRL8
@@FranciscoRamirez-nb4uu my point is that there can be more than one fast alien, and xlr8 is mostly black and white with hints of cyan, fasttrack isn't even the same blue
@@meliodas2667 XLR8 has exactly one strip of white down his stomach. Me's MOSTLY black and blue with one single strip of another color across the torso. The fact that they're "different' shades of blue" isn't relevant. They're still both primarily black and blue, and Fasttrack would've been way cooler as literally any other color scheme to differentiate him from XLR8. Hell, make him black and red.
Maybe give him a mentality quirk like Wrath? Like, make Fastrack ironically talk super slow and makes him incredibly lazy and cat-like until he gets mad or annoyed and so he get the thing done as fast as humanly possible so he can just enjoy lazing about again? Then if you want to buff him or make him distinct from XLR8, make it so he has 'better hops' where he is a better agility or something rather than just speed as XLR8 is very terrestrial and maybe give him some tracking senses. Sorta like a fusion between XLR8 and Wild Mutt.
Look Fasttrack ability should be able to generate intense static electricity through his superspeed and use external electrical energy to significantly increase his super super speed.
@@jeffreyonemu1426 I mean classic is most aliens Ben had can throw a punch like upgrade or wildmutt even Gwen can destroy a robot with a shovel. It's a bit out of the picture to say there's too many electric aliens. Most animals make electricity and as a survival instinct I would make sense that a specific individual that learnt to produce electricity would heir offspring. Think how a little mouse would have electricity powers would fair more offspring than ones that can't produce electricity(Pikachu vs the pidgeot). Also there's other aliens that have invisibility, making clones, making sticky goo or even super strength. I would say there are to many brute force aliens. Like rath or kickinhawk or molestashe.
@@peshomighty5051 but surely Fasttrack can have different powers utilizing his speed AND color scheme too. I like the idea of him passing through solid objects with the help of super speed.
I saw someone say a while ago that the reason they created Fasttrack was because they didn't have the budget to animate XLR8 in UAF (mainly because of the tail). Idk if this is actually true but it would make sense considering how Alien Force and Ultimate Alien look compared to OG and OV. The problem after that is that they didn't make the effort to develop him more in the show, aside from that racing game apparently. I didn't even know he was meant to be a cat-like alien but maybe I'm stupid. If they had given him that OV design and something distinct for him to do (like combat as you said), he would've worked a lot better
It doesn't make sense that they didn't have the budget to animate XLR8, considering Helen exists. But also aliens like Humongosaur, Spidermonkey, and Jetray have tails with the latter two frequently used them in combat. Plus, I'd argue that Goop is harder to animate than XLR8, considering the imagination required for his fight scenes.
I was never a fan of Fasttrack mainly because of his simple generic design. But after seeing a fanart made by Kami-Onn for Fasttrack in OS (Classic Series) style it became more clear for me (seriously check that fanart its really good). Fasttrack looks actually athletic and more alien in that art instead of some guy in a suit and I would definitely want to see him in a future series with a similar design. Give him some actual moments that is a reason for Ben to choose him instead of XLR8 and it would make him even better. Also having aliens with similar powers in the Omnitrix makes sense since there are more than a million species in the universe so some species can be similar just like how it is in the Earth.
@@meliodas2667 This is genuinely my first time even looking at Fasttrack, or hearing anyone talking about him, and one of my first thoughts was "Man he just looks like Ben in a superhero costume". Like, c'mon. He really looks like he's just wearing a latex body suit.

Honestly, I never hated Fasttrack and I didn't even know that he was made to promote a racing game that I've never heard of, but I kinda liked Fasttrack too. To improve Fasttrack and make him a more popular alien, here are a few ideas that could have added depth to his character and abilities: 1. Unique Abilities Beyond Speed : Fasttrack could have had specialized abilities tied to speed that set him apart from XLR8 and other fast aliens. For example, he could have had skills like creating sonic booms, vibrating at high frequencies to phase through objects, or creating afterimages to confuse enemies. This would emphasize his strengths while showing he’s not just another "speed alien." 2. Combat Versatility : While XLR8 is often depicted as an agile fighter, Fasttrack could have been more of a powerful sprinter with strength and momentum-based attacks. He could use his speed to build up kinetic energy and unleash impactful punches or shoulder tackles, giving him a unique "power speedster" role. This would let him stand out in situations where speed alone wouldn’t cut it. 3. Distinct Personality or Catchphrase : Giving Fasttrack a distinct personality could have helped him resonate with fans. He could have had a cool, competitive attitude or a signature catchphrase that would have set him apart from XLR8 and other speed-based aliens. Maybe he could’ve been a little cocky or displayed a friendly rivalry with other speed-based aliens outside of Ben's watch. 4. Unique Visual Design Elements : His design could have been tweaked to appear sleeker or more visually distinct, perhaps with glowing lines to indicate his speed energy or adding animalistic features that enhance his sprinter vibe. This way, he wouldn't feel like a last-minute addition and would look more like he belongs in the Omnitrix lineup. 5. Speed Utility Powers : Fasttrack could have had abilities related to speed beyond running, such as accelerated reflexes, time perception manipulation (slowing down his perception to dodge attacks more effectively). These powers would give him utility in different situations, not just in races or straightforward chases. 6. Personality-Based Limitations or Quirks : Fasttrack could have had unique limits or quirks that play into his character, like needing a "runway" to build up speed or a tendency to get "overconfident" in battle. These little details would make him feel more relatable and grounded, and fans might find him more interesting with challenges to overcome. 7. Give Fasttrack a Signature Move : Every good hero has a signature move or technique, and Fasttrack could have had one that sets him apart, like a "Mach Tackle" where he builds up incredible speed before charging into his opponents. Giving him a recognizable move would have added to his appeal and could have been exciting to see in action. By making Fasttrack distinct from XLR8 and adding a mix of personality, unique abilities, and practical versatility, he would feel more purposeful in Ben’s lineup rather than just being "another speed alien."
Pros of Fasttrack: -his design is alright -that’s honestly it Cons of Fasttrack: -The dude has a 1-300 win-loss record (the only win was against some foot soldiers) -you’re NOT XLR8 bro 💀 -he doesn’t really prove the “stronger than XLR8” claim alright that’s my comment
@@meliodas2667alien force has jetray which is speed, lazers and flight. Clockwork alien X Time manipulation. Lastly Terraspin wind. Like why is there fast track. Rath is a good alien.

honestly i still don't get why they included literally most of the aliens from throughout the franchise and gave basically all of them at least one moment to shine in omniverse, except for four who could have all really benefited from it, ESPECIALLY fasttrack. like it really just smells of missed potential
Honestly, whilst this would have taken co-ordination that creators don't realistically have, if I had to reboot Ben 10 (again) and make the two distinct, I'd make XLR8 a sprinter, and Fasttrack an endurance runner. Have Ben be much more physically worn out whenever he uses XLR8's speed for more than a couple seconds at a time. Still a really really impactful few seconds because of how fast he is, but have XLR8 lose a fight or two because of it! That one scene where XLR8 goes across a whole city, Ben's gasping, gulping down air. Then when Fasttrack replaces him for a while, we get an episode where maybe Ben's stuck as him or the Omnitrix keeps turning him into Fasttrack, and he keeps trying to use him like XLR8. But Fasttrack's WAY slower, so it doesn't work. Until eventually, Ben has to go a greater distance, and he doesn't get tired. Fasttrack in general doesn't get tired, even at top speed for several minutes. And then end of the episode, Fasttrack gets another fight, and Ben fights with him and he's fighting differently, staying at top speed the whole time, and he wins. Boom, two speed aliens who fight completely differently. Maybe you can even have a master control fight where Ben's fast-switching between them to be an ultimate speedster.
this would be such an awesome idea too if Ben committed to switching constantly having quick bursts of speed with XLR8, followed by a barrage of attacks from FastTrack. Since FastTrack would have higher stamina, he'd be able to fight much longer than XLR8 could
I mean he doesn't really have a lot going for him, especially when he's much slower then XLR8. FastTrack is also to humanoid, it just looks like a guy in a costume if he's a cat where is his claws? Where is his tail?

@@corylamb7796 Oh, I see. Yeah, you're right. It would've been so much better, if they had given him some sort of extra power to differentiate him from XLR8. Instead of making him a knockoff.
It may be a small and insignificant factor, but the comparisons to XLR8 also brings the point that Fasttrack has the same color scheme as XLR8, when other aliens that share powers don't always have - look at Frankenstrike, Brainstorm, Buzzshock and Feedback, or Four Arms and Humungoussaur, or Jetray, Stinkfly, Heatblast and Big Chill. They all have different color palettes (even though Omniverse kinda mixes that by making various aliens having the black/green/white suit which changes their color schemes)
how to stop fasttrack hate: Step 1. Make a video to address the allegations, but spend most of your video shit talking him and bringing up his worst feats. Step 2. Still insist that he is a cool character despite most of his appearances being super mid Step 3. Profit Step 4. (the only good step) Telling des10 that UA was not peak
Considering Fasttrack was. . . I mean just existed as a tie-in for a video game racer, maybe they should have given him some sort of "slipstream" ability where he makes vehicles faster than they have any right going?
I always thought that the best way to distinguish them would be that XLR8 is faster, but not as effective in combat because of his physique while fasttrack is slower, but better to use in straight up combat
The problem is also, Fasttrack has the same colour pallet as XLR8. There is no tangible difference between him and XLR8. A quote that most haven't seen means nothing. Not only that, but UAF already had a speedster replace XLR8; Jeyray. Different colour, superior speed, and more powers on top. But XLR8 is still relevant due to Jetray not being so good in close quarters and on land. Fasttrack is nothing but a promotion for a racing game. You can replace every one of his scenes with XLR8, and nothing would change (except Ben would probably win more as XLR8 because of speed blitzing). Fasttrack offers nothing but a slight difference in body perportions. His hate is fully deserved.
5:16 In it’s debut, Fastrack saves two plumbers, if Im not mistaken, one of them being very heavy. I don’t recall xlr8 doing a feat like that. I still prefer xlr8 though
I got a few ideas for fixing FastTrack. • have his quills do something. Maybe he can shoot them out. Maybe he can grab them and use them as little daggers. Maybe he can use them like batmans wrist blades. Maybe make them do the energy thing. • have him more of an all rounder athlete. A little less fast, some more strength, a higher jump, and some flexibility, give him a gold and bronze color scheme, call him spartan or Hermes or something like that. • make him fast but stealthy, xlr8 is fast and has the blur/trail, don't give that to FastTrack, make him agile, and quiet, more of a speedy ninja alien. •make him exclusive to the racing game as an alternative for xlr8. • show when ben unlocks him and his initial disappointment over him being just xlr8 but then he finds that he works better in combat. • quills can be thrown at the ground and cause holograms of himself, not duplicates, holograms. Only one FastTrack is actually the real one, but the enemies can't tell which, this would be a good way to overwhelm enemies without being op. • it would be kinda cool if he could shrink at will, running towards something that closes, he doesn't have to slide under, he just gets small, goes under, returns to normal height, and keeps going. • an ultimate form. Right off the bat I'm thinking take away the speed, add strength, but then to make up for the speed, make him a bit bigger, his arms have black hair going further down, he can use that for shadow travel/instant teleportation similar to cloak from marvel. New color scheme still has black arms, but maybe mixed with srone gray and green on his body. Make his ultimate monstrous, quills sticking out everywhere, huge mouth with sharp teeth, bulkier, bushy eyebrows, bulky nose.
Not a big Ben10 fan but my thoughts on a way to differentiate between Xlr8 and Fasttrack is that Xlr8 is fast in a straight line, Fastrack is a cat, make him super flexible and always landing on his feet. He beats Xlr8 in manuevability and dodging with those cat reflexes, which means he shouldnt have been clothesline like that, maybe give Ben an episode where he learns how to use him correctly, like he isnt supposed to think and just react
I actually have an idea of how to improve Fasttrack and make him really stand out. His power isn't to make himself fast, it's to make things in contact with him fast. Sure, he can move fast on his own, but he's not nearly as nimble and XLR8. But if he's piloting something, like a go kart, he's a demon on wheels. You could even do cool stuff with it like temporarily enhance an allies speed or make enemies run into walls. He could use it while in Kevin's car or the Rustbucket and make it a blur. He'd be a speedster, but in a different way AND it would be a nice nod to his Kart Racer roots!
Going off tour black panther idea, it might have been cool if he could convert kinetic energy into speed. The more damage he takes the faster he becomes. And his species could have high durability to reflect this evolution.
Can we just appreciate how cool big chill looks, like he looks like he is constantly wearing a poncho that just helps him fly, he can easily woop fast tracks ass
As a kid, I loved Fasttrack (I still do) and I loved to roleplay around with my friends playing Ben 10. I would make it so that Fasttrack would use his quils/spikes or whatever as knives (kinda) and damage people with them while running around them. #StopTheFasttrackHate
If we look at how fast Fasttrack would need to be going to catch up to the missile, he would need to be going approximately Mach 8 which is nowhere close to XLR8’s relativistic feats, but is more than fast enough in a realistic scenario.
They should’ve gave Fast track some kind of special ability when he accelerates 1. If he goes way too fast he converts kinetic energy to attack his enemies like black panther or something 2. When he builds more momentum he becomes an immovable object that can crash through anything and will be hard to stop him in his tracks 3. Lastly the more fast track uses his speed, the more physical power boost he gets to hit his enemies But instead they just gave us the “he’s slower than XLR8 but stronger”
6:52 mabye kenetic energy like the more he moves the faster and more powerful he gets then if he can handle it it will release in a large emp explosion xlr8 still better tho
How to fix Fasstrack : - Change the color (Yellow, like a Cheetah would be cool) - Emphasize Feline traits (Slash attacks, Night vision, Stealth) - EMPHASIZE THE FELINE TRAITS (Meow meow meow)
I literally hate fast track and me and my friends and I were ranking aliens and laughing at me when I was crashing out about hating fast track! I was straight up crashing out, and I didn't know anyone else hated him.
I came up with an idea where Fasttrack can leave his spikes suspended in his trail w static electricity. And it's like a trap wall, if you touch it, all the spikes converge on you.
They should've gave Fasttrack speedster phasing like the Flash. That power would really set him apart from XLR8. He could be the ultimate escape artist.
What I would do to differentiate Fasttrack from XLR8 is, I would have Fasttrack be based on male ballet dancers, while still keeping his super speed elements. He would also have retractable claws that he would utilize in battle, and his fighting style would be a mix of ballet as well as the way cats fight. So in other words, the way I would fix his similarity to XLR8 would be to make him a more dangerous ballerina lol
In my Ben 10 OC AU, I made Fasttrack and XLR8 have different strengths: XLR8 is used purely for speed as the fastest transformation in the omnitrix, while Fasttrack is slower, but far stronger (hitting like a bullet train) and is able to run on water. I also made Fasttrack a quadruped, like O.R.Ash's Ultimate design, to help differentiate him.
Fasttrack did actually show a strength feat when he was throwing Gwen and Stone form Kevin on his leg as he was running and making jumps throughout Ledgerdomain. The most strength we've seen from XLR8 was just fireman a normal person.
I never finished ultimate alien and never tried omniverse or the reboot. The reboot looks really bad to me, but the story sounds cool still. They made Kevin a better villain is all i heard about it really
I think a way they could've maybe helper FastTrack was make it to where when he runs he makes a dort of energy barrier in front of him like a shield. This way, he's slower than XLR8, but has a better defense and can maybe use that field as a way to be a small battering ram or have that energy be on his punches so he gets that slight strength boost.
Fasttrack just needs something different to XLR8 to separate them. My idea is that as Fasttrack runs he builds energy inside him and he can use that energy to jump ridiculously high or release shockwaves
I don't hate FastTrack, but I will say they are too similar in ability and color scheme. If they had made a reason for him not to use xlr8, then it would make sense. But, as he stands, he is not distinctive enough. And I agree with who said they should maybe change the use case of the ability. Like, keep him fast, but maybe make all those spikey parts actual spikes. So that way he can use it as weaponry. Maybe even doing something like Sonic the hedgehog/CannonBolt where he could curl into a ball and shed through metal armor. That could then give him something different.
There was an Episode in OG Ben 10 where they go to watch a baseball game. Ben uses xlr8 to make his fav team win or make the other team lose. Gwen had to use her camera to prove it. That shows ho fast xlr8 was. The first appearance of fasttrack in the show was in alien force, maybe it was the hybrid invasion or the villgax attacks arc (it was a big one) fasttrack got like 10 seconds of screentime but he was freakishly slow. You could see his every moment. The animators were the same so you can'targue thet they couldn't animate his speed properly.
I think the best way to make Fasttrack more useful is to give him the ability to vibrate his molecules to phase through objects like CW Flash. Speaking of which, also give him a green lightning effect when he runs to differnentiate him from XLR8.
Here’s my pitch since everyone’s got one. I think fast track should be ninja like really fast but using his agility primarily. Jumping onto the walls wall running crawling on the ceiling and pouncing on enemies fast with stealth. Etc while xlr8 should be faster. His design is cooler and had more growth potential. He’s also a fan favorite. And has the ability to control kinetic energy canonically. . And while they say fast racks faster, xlr8’s speed feats are far more impressive
Could also set him apart by leaning more into the cat-like aspect and have him be fast and acrobatic. So like Accelerate being running fast like the classic speedster and Fasttrack being an agile, acrobatic form (think Nightwing, Catwoman, those sorts… kinda looks like them, too 😂) while also being very fast as he does so. That would also make the two aliens useful in very different types of chases.
The idea of Fasttrack being a speedy bruiser is actually pretty cool, Shane they didn’t do anything with that. Imagine Ben using XLR8 to dodge and Fasttrack to attack, that’d be a hell of a fight.

That black and blue plus his ass screentime made him look like a poor imitation of XLR8
Problem with Fasttrack is that everytime he was shown you already know he was going to get cooked in the worst way possible I don’t even hate him like that but currently he’s a fraud
This alien made me mad not because he did XLR8’s thing, but because he tried to replace him while being worse
I see where you are coming from
@ it ain’t even that I hate him, just give him situational powers, like moving faster in the air or something, or being able to swim fast, even if other aliens do those things it’s still a way to improve him
No bonnet? That ain’t Dan
😮
Fasttrack needs a “locked in” story/showcase like they did with Ghostfreak, Feedback, or Upchuck. Maybe give Ben a scenario where he’s locked as Fasttrack and Ben takes the opinion of the audience and says how he doesn’t really see the point in Fasttrack in comparison to XLR8. Have him unlock a new ability with Fasttrack like with Swampfire. It would really make the hate end.
:D
That’s actually a good idea for a Ben 10 episode
That's actually a pretty good idea! Wish we could've seen it
In my old Ben 10 OC story I wrote I made it where fasttrack and xlr8 can use their speeds in different ways. Like XLR8 can slow down time and create tornados etc. While Fastrack can phase through objects and throw kinetic force punches because of his human like figure. That’s how I fixed the problem 🤷♀️
Yo bro, you won't mind that I use your idea for FastTrack in my texting stories?

You know, with his more humanoid design, they could've distinguished Fasttrack more by giving him some acrobatic/parkour like skills instead of just making him a straightforward speedster like the flash.

4:40 crazy how Kevin summed up nearly the entire fanbase with that one line lmfao
Not like xlr8 invented super speed, then xlr8 is a copy of flash
@@meliodas2667 I don't see the point of your comment. Not all speedsters in cómics wear yellow or red. Why both of Bens speedters are black and blue?

@@friendofcrows327 xlr8 doesn't own all the shades of blue, like that's trying to reach way top hard, fasttrack can be blue
If he ran like a cheetah and had a tail, it would already help a lot in making him unique.
With a hyper whip tail ability
Look Fasttrack ability should be able to generate intense static electricity through his superspeed and use external electrical energy to significantly increase his super super speed.

Ben has way too many electric aliens already: Shocksquatch, Feedback, Buzzkill, Brainstorm, Frankenstrike etc.
Plus, I'd argue that Goop is harder to animate than XLR8, considering the imagination required for his fight scenes.
whats more likely is they needed a humanoid to represent Ben10 in that cartoon network racing game that wasnt just Ben sitting there
no offense but i think you pulled that information out of your ass

Honestly, I never hated Fasttrack and I didn't even know that he was made to promote a racing game that I've never heard of, but I kinda liked Fasttrack too. To improve Fasttrack and make him a more popular alien, here are a few ideas that could have added depth to his character and abilities:
1. This would emphasize his strengths while showing he’s not just another "speed alien."
Pros of Fasttrack:
-his design is alright
-that’s honestly it
Cons of Fasttrack:
-The dude has a 1-300 win-loss record (the only win was against some foot soldiers)
-you’re NOT XLR8 bro 💀
-he doesn’t really prove the “stronger than XLR8” claim

Rath is a good alien.
I mean omnitrix has a lot of similar aliens ( which makes sense in the theory of convergence evolution). I think what sucks that speed is the only thing he has. At first from his walking in the walls and zia zag motion I thought they gave him proper hands and feet so that he would use hand to hand combat too. Like the teen me thought yeah..50% less speed which martial arts or some weapon weilding in high speed would look dope. But they didn't explored the character properly. Sad...
he is and his design in ov is fire and hes cool and its just another speed alien not that bad
honestly i still don't get why they included literally most of the aliens from throughout the franchise and gave basically all of them at least one moment to shine in omniverse, except for four who could have all really benefited from it, ESPECIALLY fasttrack. like it really just smells of missed potential
This is an awesome idea
this would be such an awesome idea too if Ben committed to switching constantly
having quick bursts of speed with XLR8, followed by a barrage of attacks from FastTrack. Since FastTrack would have higher stamina, he'd be able to fight much longer than XLR8 could
Fastrack actually is slower.
I mean he doesn't really have a lot going for him, especially when he's much slower then XLR8. FastTrack is also to humanoid, it just looks like a guy in a costume if he's a cat where is his claws? Where is his tail?

It may be a small and insignificant factor, but the comparisons to XLR8 also brings the point that Fasttrack has the same color scheme as XLR8, when other aliens that share powers don't always have - look at Frankenstrike, Brainstorm, Buzzshock and Feedback, or Four Arms and Humungoussaur, or Jetray, Stinkfly, Heatblast and Big Chill. They all have different color palettes (even though Omniverse kinda mixes that by making various aliens having the black/green/white suit which changes their color schemes)

I always thought that the best way to distinguish them would be that XLR8 is faster, but not as effective in combat because of his physique while fasttrack is slower, but better to use in straight up combat
If they want to go with the he’s physically stronger than XLR8, then maybe they should’ve made him a super speed martial arts
I really love it cuz the color combination. Blue is my favourite, blue + black makes it better
"Dirty Fasttrack Lover" is insane💀

I still prefer xlr8 though
"🤓 But Fasttrack has better feats"
I never heard or seen anyone say this but I'm convinced a person who thinks this has never watched 2005 Ben 10
He'd be a speedster, but in a different way AND it would be a nice nod to his Kart Racer roots!
his power should've being able to turn into a car lol
0:28 ah yes my tequnique menevilant roasting
Haven’t used this since yesterday.
Going off tour black panther idea, it might have been cool if he could convert kinetic energy into speed. The more damage he takes the faster he becomes. And his species could have high durability to reflect this evolution.
About Fasttrack's strength - there is a scene in "Basic Training" episode where he carries Hulka (who is a big boy).
Should’ve leaned into the cat features a little more

When I saw Fast Track as a kid I was like, "Who the hell is this guy? 😭"
If we look at how fast Fasttrack would need to be going to catch up to the missile, he would need to be going approximately Mach 8 which is nowhere close to XLR8’s relativistic feats, but is more than fast enough in a realistic scenario.
It's because he's a mirror of XLR8 and even though the racing game is his origin he's technically a design almost mirrored of one of the Flash's suits
They should’ve gave Fast track some kind of special ability when he accelerates
1. If he goes way too fast he converts kinetic energy to attack his enemies like black panther or something
2. When he builds more momentum he becomes an immovable object that can crash through anything and will be hard to stop him in his tracks
3. Lastly the more fast track uses his speed, the more physical power boost he gets to hit his enemies
But instead they just gave us the “he’s slower than XLR8 but stronger”

I came up with an idea where Fasttrack can leave his spikes suspended in his trail w static electricity. And it's like a trap wall, if you touch it, all the spikes converge on you.
They should've gave Fasttrack speedster phasing like the Flash. That power would really set him apart from XLR8. He could be the ultimate escape artist.
That ideia of having a similar power to Black Panther is very interesting
What I would do to differentiate Fasttrack from XLR8 is, I would have Fasttrack be based on male ballet dancers, while still keeping his super speed elements. He would also have retractable claws that he would utilize in battle, and his fighting style would be a mix of ballet as well as the way cats fight.
So in other words, the way I would fix his similarity to XLR8 would be to make him a more dangerous ballerina lol
I almost forgot that Ben even had this guy as an alien
In my Ben 10 OC AU, I made Fasttrack and XLR8 have different strengths: XLR8 is used purely for speed as the fastest transformation in the omnitrix, while Fasttrack is slower, but far stronger (hitting like a bullet train) and is able to run on water. I also made Fasttrack a quadruped, like O.R.Ash's Ultimate design, to help differentiate him.
At least fast track isn't a lego gorilla.
I forgot he even existed and I found that people hated him I was like..."what did he even do???"
I always loved fasttrack, especially his design. Reminds me of superheroes suits
My goat fastrack, i love djw's redesign
Fasttrack did actually show a strength feat when he was throwing Gwen and Stone form Kevin on his leg as he was running and making jumps throughout Ledgerdomain. The most strength we've seen from XLR8 was just fireman a normal person.
Here’s some differences with these two
Xlr8 is pure speed, but lacks in strength
Fasttrack is indeed slower, but has more strength overall

Man I like Fast track more than accelerate because the Ink Tank plus I run track so I’d be more comfortable running with my feet than on wheels
Slander getting slandered is the funniest thing in Ben 10
I think a way they could've maybe helper FastTrack was make it to where when he runs he makes a dort of energy barrier in front of him like a shield. This way, he's slower than XLR8, but has a better defense and can maybe use that field as a way to be a small battering ram or have that energy be on his punches so he gets that slight strength boost.
We may not like the transformation but things to the ink tank we love the species, all thanks to one character
Not to mention that XLR8's body looks more designed for speed. He's a Utahraptor with permanent Heelys!
I think he actually does it in the Galactic Racing game.
An alien hated more an alien named The Worst
