Here´s my take on "Robotaxis." Not every so-called "good idea" is actually a good one. Any idea that could potentially take jobs away from real people who depend on those jobs to take care of their family is most definitely a terrible idea. I am of the belief that development of any nation in all areas--educational, technological, scientifical, economical, commercial, etc, MUST be done with the citizen's progress and wellbeing at the center of it. You could make the argument that the "good idea" would create more jobs, and jada, jada, jada." That is not a convincing argument. There are other people that need those jobs, and there might not be enough of new jobs created to hire the taxi drivers whom the so-called "good idea" displaced, and those taxi-drivers might not necessarily want to work at a factory assembling driverless cars for probably less money than what they used to make. Y'all get impressed to easy and don't allow yourselves to duel more deeply on things.

It's not that you can't take a bath, but you can't touch cold water to avoid being attacked by cold air and leaving behind the root of disease. Women who have given birth have consumed their vitality and need to rest and eat high-value food to regulate their bodies. They need to rest for at least a month. If they don't rest, they will get sick in old age. This is the way Chinese women keep healthy

Auto Translation: On the issue of residential property rights, in fact, it is to pay money to renew after the expiration of 72 years, and purchase of land in China can be understood as a lease. The land will always belong to the state, and if there is a more urgent need in the future, we as individuals must obey the interests of the majority and not occupy the land privately. In fact, it is not the same, but at least it reflects that the government is not forced to expropriate citizens' property, which is also a sign of social progress.

One misconception I had was they had no freedom, until I lived there for a couple of years. I felt I had more freedom than living in California, good or bad, e.g., I could buy a beer and drink while walking around, can’t do that in San Francisco. If I wanted go fishing, I just bought fishing rod and hooks, dogged up some worms on the river bank and enjoyed a fishing day. If I see a mountain and wanted to hike up, I could just walk up there and nobody says I was trespassing.

Would love a part two. Having just visited many cities there, we were blown away by the efficiency of the metros, the cleanliness, the serene feeling of safety, the engineering marvels in their architecture and of course, the cuisines. It is both admirable and very impressive that China has lifted 3/4 of their population from poverty in a span of 30 years and built such beautiful cities in the process. Thanks for clearing up some misconceptions of the country. It’s a weird feeling that when we tell people that we traveled there, we have encountered some negativity/hostility from our fellow Americans. I hope more people view your videos.

About product quality, CN companies can produce anything from cheapest trash to most advanced high-end tech that Western companies can't produce. For example in EVs, drones, solar panels and phones, CN has been ahead for years. The thing why there are bad experiences with CN products in the West says more about the West than about CN. In poverty-driven capitalism people are forced to buy as cheap as possible to survive, so Western importers often buy containers full of substandard goods from CN, because that's what a lot of the low-wage workers can barely afford. While people in CN have the standard quality products in their stores. If you sit in the West and want to avoid substandard products, you still have the chance to buy high-end tech like from Xiaomi, Huawei, BYD... oh wait, Huawei and BYD have literally been banned by capitalists, because their own trash couldn't keep up with Huawei's and BYD's advancements... nevermind.
