谢谢你一直以客观正面的视角报道宣传中国普通人的生活❤。中国是世界上最适合普通人生活的国家，因为政府是真的将人人平等贯彻得很好的，虽然特权阶级哪个国家都存在，但中国你不可能从明面上找到这种区别对待，比如中国的家政和菲律宾这样东南亚国家提供的“佣人”一般的服务是不同的，家政认为自己只是提供家务服务，地位和人格上是和付款的一方完全平等的。所以在中国，普通人可以活得更有尊严。而且最重要的是，中国的阶层没完全固化，普通人的上升渠道是多样化和相对容易的。但对于大富豪和特权阶级来说，在中国有很多事是给钱也办不到的，所以不宜居。不知道我举的例子经过翻译能不能完全表达得出我的想法，大概意思就这样😂

You think China is good just because you are a white foreigner. There are many previliage rights for foreigners. If you truly love China, do you want to be a China citizen? I believe the answer is not.

These are all fair points and certainly the schools in the US (and the UK for that matter) are generally not of a high enough standard. The two downsides I can see are the lack of legal homeschooling in China whereas the UK and the US both allow such education (often a better form of education if the stats are to be believed) and the ever-present air pollution. I have been many times and almost enjoyed being in China but the ongoing problem with air pollution, particularly in the major cities, has always been a major disadvantage. For me, air quality is very important if one is going to commit to living somewhere long term.

As an American, this makes me wanna cry. I want this life so badly.

Maybe if the US or other western countries ask nicely, China might help you build high speed rail in your country ON Time and ON budget. They have in Indonesia, Kenya , etc. You will find more countries asking China to do more infrastructure because they have such good experience.

I´m really happy for you that you´re enjoying your life in China. But here are some points I need to express as a native Chinese. First, the racist part, about the reason you didn´t encounter with racism o less racism is that you're white, if a black person come to live here, he/she will deal with a totally different situation. I literally heard people around me said that they think black people bring crime and those who get married in China is ruining the purity of Chinese gene. Second, about the education, I don’t know if your kids are in the public school o private International school. But those kids in the public high school (Beijing is an exception) are really suffering from the “GaoKao” (entrance exam to the university), they study almost 12 hours per day and six days per week. Only 30% of them can make it to the public university (where all the great educational resource concentrate). Also, only 30% kids from middle school can get into public high school. The consequence of this is that right now, 50% of students in school are more o less suffering metal heath issue. There are more things like labor abuses, internet censorship and lockdown etc.Not a hater but want people to see the whole picture. This country has its pros and cons. Wish your kids have a nice, healthy and happy childhood in this country.

Safe? haha, you can ask the local people. Even their children are in high schools or colleges, the parents still want to drive the children to the school gates every morning. It's just the govt banning all bad news. But the locals know the truth.

Some pretty naive statements. You want to portray China as if it were racism free, while the USA is full of hatred. The only reason you are treated well in China is precisely because of racism, if you were of dark skin they wouldn't look at you with the same eyes. They see white skin as something desirable and good, in other words you are the right kind of 'race'. I'm neither american nor chinese, but not everything is black and white people, stop idealizing stuff. There's positives and negatives everywhere.

I came from Zurich, Switzerland but currently living in Tokyo, Japan. I remember when our american colleague visited Tokyo for the first time. He's so freaked out when he saw little children taking public transports everywhere by themselves!😂 Before Tokyo I lived for a year in Shanghai, and I think there are so many similarities (safety, cost of living, comfort, foreigner-friendly etc) between Shanghai and Tokyo.
