chinese chopsticks are too long...they need to shorten them like the japanese do for more precision & ease of use...long chopsticks are for cooking...idk why they give long chopsticks for dining in china...
the super long chopsticks I have seen in China have been for hot pot, and also for use at a big table with a lazy susan. the only Japanese chopsticks I have seen and used have been the pointy ones for picking up small parts or fish! I never noticed them being shorter, next time I'll have to pay attention!
