I have met a young couple in Thailand recently. They were from US and flow to Singapore and they were traveling from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and then to Cambodia and Vietnam and before going back to US.
We have happened to have a casual friendly conversation and I have asked them since they are so near to China, why not go to China just for a few days to see China. I told them China is very interesting. But I was surprised of what they told me.
They said according to all their media reports in US and advice by their government and many other people. They were advice and told not to travel to China. Even their parents don't allow them to go to China. They were told China is not a safe country to travel. Very dirty, poor rundown infrastructures, poor transportation system, polluted, homeless people are everywhere waiting to rob tourists are common even in broad daylight. Chances of been detained for no reason by the Communist government is very high. Because China is an authoritarian state and all foreign visitors are monitored by thousands of cameras everywhere and every minute where foreign visitors go. Foreign visitors from western countries can be detained for months or even years for no reason.
All these is what they know about China. The couple is like below 25 years of age and already so badly brainwashed by their government and controlled media. This is really sad.
.... i swear to god, I've seen this same reply before, at least more than a year ago, like what's the point of doing this?
@@MatteoLonghi7 , you wants not what is the point of posting the same comments again and again.
The point is to let as many people as possible to know western politicians and their control media are all lying to their people about China. And I believe you are one of those that have been lied and brainwashed by them.
Wake up dude, go out and see the real world.

TH-cam has so many videos on china and millions of tourists visiting every year. Did you miss it or is it censored in the US?
The State Dept have guidelines to look out for products made using forced labour. But there are no Chinese guidelines to identify products imported from US that are made from prison labour.
Also there should be a list of foreign products and businesses that are linked directly or indirectly to IsNotReal due to its misconduct in Gaza. I have heard Starbucks and McDonald's are linked to IsNotReal.

@@Anonymous------ Last time I used IsYesReal on youtube my comment evaporated XD
Their prison labor is slave labor. No need to be polite.
Two biggest lies the US made on China recently, Forced Labor and Genocide in Xinjiang Province. The US has "no human face", it's just so evil, by dumping such lies on China and fool the world.
I think food prices are comparable in both countries. But what's much cheaper in China are finished industrial goods and daily utensils. They can be a few times cheaper than in the US for the same thing.
Love your videos, China looks great. How about a "Tips for China travel" video? Like what APP to use, things you learn would make China travel easier! It'll be popular & help lots of people! ❤😊
thanks for your support, it means so much ❤️ I love this idea! stay tuned 😁
with an alipay in your cellphone, you can do everything, I guess
This was a super fascinating vlog.
You are absolutely correct that markets/grocery stores are a great way to experience a country’s culture.
Condoms next to cookies and chips…snacks…there is a joke somewhere in there…lol!
Thank you for sharing!
thanks so much for watching!! and there definitely is a joke somewhere in there 😂 more to come soon!!
There are many reasons why China is misunderstood. First, some Western countries, led by the United States, do not like things that are different from them, especially political systems and religious beliefs. They lack tolerance and equality; Second, China's rapid progress has made some countries very uncomfortable. They have lost the sense of superiority and pride that they have long held as the center of the world, generating jealousy and even hatred. Third, most of the major social media and software on the Internet are controlled by Americans. They have long encouraged content that defames China and restricted the dissemination of content that benefits China. So I want to show you a real China. You can also point out what you feel uncomfortable about. As long as it is objective and impartial, we can accept it with an open mind and continuously improve.
If China with their own way can surpassed the west, the west will lost in argument against other nation.
It is important for the west to make communism/socialism looks bad for them to control non western country
I agree with your statement more or less, but there's really no religion in China in the direct sense as long as the public don't use religion as a political tool in public in order to overthrow the government. Plus the states makes things complicate in general. Too much lawyers means too much nonsense talk.
Coming to Asia this fall, sweet durian cost $13 Canadian dollars(65 Yuan) a pound here:(
I found your channel and I am loving it!

"That $10-a-box Whole Foods mango that was sliced by white people. That’s the kind of income bracket I’m striving for. That’s when you know you’ve made it, when you’re eating mango that was sliced by a dude named Noah" Quote Ali Wong
I love Ali Wong! She is hilarious!
😍😍😍😍😍
7fresh is premium about like wholefood, in my option
I totally agree with you
Do you go to April or Jenny supermarket for foreign food fix?
Absolutely! I love going to these supermarkets. Just went a few days ago actually 😂 makes me feel like I'm back home
where is the store? which city?
in Beijing, and the store is called 7Fresh!~
There are many like that one in China.
Telling your wife, “you guys” don’t have it? 😂

The items shown are expensive for people who make Chinese money in China and live in China.
@@dadadaxie To a small percentage of certain Chinese people, it’s not expensive at all! Would you agree that most Chinese people can’t afford to spend over 10000 RMB every month on living expenses?
@@dadadaxie But a smartphone in China would cost around 10000RMB whereas it costs around 1000 USD in the U.S. If you have to convert the 10000 RMB to USD, that’s still more than 1000 USD. Not many Chinese people make over 10000 RMB a month, but many Americans make over 1000 USD a month. That’s the point. There are more examples than that. We’re talking about whether or not how many items a currency can buy in its country.
China has a lot of mobile phones, most people use the mobile phone price of 1000-6000 yuan, you say the monthly income of 10,000 to compare with Beijing, because Beijing will be high consumption, normal point of the medium city 5000 is enough, the monthly income of 10,000 in Beijing is not a small number of people@@apec3100
