Personally it's sort of a silly question - "Which one should you get ?" - They're both excellent, like really superb aircraft, but one happens to be complely free so obviously getting the free one makes the most sense, at least as a start - I have both and both are well worth having in your hangar. Which one would you get would make more sense if you were paying significant amounts of money for both and you didn't want to waste your money on a more mediocre aircraft. Wouldn't it have been better to have a title "FBW and Fenix A320s compared"... Secoondly they're different aircraft, so not strictly comparable. One is a more modern long range A320 neo with very efficient engines (FlyByWire), the other is a slightly dated original model A320-200 (the Fenix). Finally, the A32NX is not shareware - it"s entirely open source and has no restrictions to its use. It might be wise to look up the definition of shareware.

I got heavy into sim racing. On Xbox of course. Horrible if you want real depth sim compared to PC. Flight sim came out on Xbox so I upgraded to Xbox S so I could get flight stick and builda little sim. SAME DAMN ISSUE!!!!! PC is by far way to go however not all of us can afford PC. One day maybe.

OK.....I'm fascinated by this. MSFS is an excellent sim of the planes, airports, and sky, but now you're dealing with airspace and controllers to simulate actual commercial operations. How does this work? My first thought, not being familiar with MSFS, was that the AI for the controllers was really good, but then I realized you're dealing with real people, both as fellow pilots and controllers. This is amazing. I have some idea of what equipment one would need for this, but software......I'm lost. I need to get better at flying before I'd be able to do this, but it looks like great practice! Tell me how to connect, once I'm prepared. Speak of practice, your taxiing was sloppy. I'm guessing you don't have rudder pedals. You also landed a smidge to the right of center. But you buttered it, and I certainly couldn't have done better. Very nicely done.

Hey did i doenload something wrong, because my xbox version doesnt work. All the tutorials never start. The free flight works but thats the only mode that works, and i dont really know how to fly, so is my xbox messed up or did i do something wrong ?

I have xbox series x and i love my msfs on the console. I think having a pc is just to expensive

Iam currently only able to do short flights simply due to the fact whenever I try to do a long distance flight and when I save the flight and reload the saved flight the tool bar keeps disappearing making it impossible to talk to air traffic control or anything else and unable to finish the flight.

I really prefer the fbw experience than the finix. At moment i have a serious bug that can't give me the opportunity of playing this bird that i payed 60 dollars! The fbw is free, with fiew difference between it and the fenix. What i really want to change in fbw is some texture and detail of the wings, schretches and other that are really better in fenix. An other thing is the manuvrability, the fbw is too much simple to fly, its smooth even in near runway distance, the fenix can hear you more turbolence and the feelings of the air fluid. Fbw if will change some of is phisics model of the craft will get a great model really competitive against the fenix. And if i need to say that, the Neo is the future of aviation, the ceo will be replaced now or later.

Oh contrair. Its the easiest and I have to download from the Marketplace in order to have it for both the Xbox S AND on the PC. I dont mod much so...meh. My MD500E I purchased from Cowan Simulations but when its not on my Xbox he let me get a refund, even though he lost some of the price to Microsoft. Life in the fast lane lol

Based on alot of these comments people like the xbox experience me personally have had nothing but problems with the PC version and alot of headaches with it so my next time I buy it'll be on xbox. Thank you sorry to the guy who made this video

I'm a real life commercial pilot, and I think you can totally do some serious flying on the Xbox. I have a honeycomb yoke and throttle quadrant that works super well on my Xbox, and I enjoy flying everything from the C172 to the PMDG 737. I used to play on an older PC too, but I just found that is was more affordable to upgrade to a (then new) Xbox Series X vs buying a new PC that would cost thousands.

Also kind of odd some of your videos have only a few thousand views and some have views exactly in the twenty thousand range except for your biased Xbox hit piece which we all know didn't come over well considering the view to like ratio. This is 100% an elitism video. If you truly love flight sims you should be allowed to use it on any platform you can afford and it shouldn't be gatekept by some channel with a couple thousand subs. Some people cannot afford a $700+ PC and flight controls and the xbox offers the best performance for money ratio to get into flight simming. Sure I'd love to do VATSIM and have a wider selection of both paid and free mods but it is what it is and I thoroughly enjoy my time in MSFS approaching almost 330 hours of flight time. Just to counter your reasons in all fairness to Xbox: 1. Could careless about the Fenix airbus. There are plenty of study level A/C on Xbox that are on par. There's nothing special about Fenix's plane with the only example you keep giving is its "high fidelity" like others aren't. 2. I'm completely fine without VATSIM. As I said in my comment yes I'd like to try it but from what the videos I've seen there are a ton of anal wannabes using the platform and I fly MSFS for fun and education as far as study level A/C goes. 3. There are plenty of peripherals for the Xbox. According to the thrustmaster website TCA Airbus edition is licensed for Xbox and does work. 4. As i said before the Xbox offers the best performance for money and doesn't need to be upgraded every year like a PC does which is actually a downside to PC having to constantly upgrade everything until parts become incompatible and you have to buy even more expensive components that'll cost the same or even more than and by the time a next gen console is released.
