Hi thanks for checking out another video.
Now I have the Lynx protected with the armour I’m keen to take it over the trails a little more. Today I wanted to just try and find the right set up with the new extended jump pads and test assist modes while off-roading.
I knew I would prefer no assists but I was trying to find some pedal dip and see if I could find the issues others have been having with this firmware.
As I’m uploading this there is a new release of Firmware 5.0.12 and apparently assist modes while has been locked off now.
Interesting.
I had no sign of dip and I had super fun, really surprised with the tyre the Kenda 262 it has seems to save me a few times while sliding lately.
Enjoying my Lynx heaps at the moment really feels dialled in nicely.
I hope your ride is running well!
thanks for watching another video.

Hi mate ! Good content, big like ! What is the name of your gloves ? 🧤 Cheers ! 🎩
Music - banging as always. Fits the night ride perfectly.
Got mine earlier in the week, still practicing on a rented model until I can drive, hopefully will be taking the V14 for its first drive next weekend. Super excited
Having your gear in the description is a high IQ move. Thank you!!
I’m hoping one of these will get my wife started riding EUC:s with me.
From experience: I'm 125lbs with a knobby tire, and going an avg speed of 20mph I can go over 60 miles, at around 30mph over 40miles from a full charge!
You can generally push as much as you want to, because the control board or charging board will stop the charging if it's too much. You can even set power limit on pizdoom smart charger (the one with square touchscreen). The limit on Lynx is something above 2400W, which you could go over if you combine 14A Pidzoom with original 5A charger.
What are you thoughts comparing the Lynx to the V13? Thanks for sharing.
I have a Lynx and a V14 and I find the V14 easier to get comfortable with and it has a much lower propensity to wobble. I ride my V14 at higher speeds than I do my Lynx because the Lynx can wobble and even though I can handle it just fine, I don't like that. I put a Shinko 244 on my Lynx and that didn't help it, although it is better off-road, next step I will try a street tire on the Lynx.
you have a few videos where you mention snakes. Is there alot of snakes and what kind do you run across riding?
I love my v11 but dont ride it much now I have the extreme and lynx. I rode it today and it felt weird with the old crappy pads but im thinking with the flow grizzla paads on the v11 it could be a very good light off road ride thats locked in....
I see you’re a local rider 💯 veloway goes hard 🤙
That’s one wheel I’m scared of. It’s a beast 😈
Nice offroad video. Do you use the big or the smaller grizzla flow pads on your v14? Thanks bye from vienna.
Check out the new firmware. Much less dipping. Much more stable.
so tough to decide if i want the Lynx, Master, or V14 as a 1st wheel.
Thank you for the video! You have been "baking" lately? 😄
My V12 HT has had it's second battery failure so I just ordered the V14... I ride rain or shine so I needed something like this.
Did you say snakes. Like real snakes. Ive come across a couple rattlesnakes riding. It was cold so they were lethargic and I just bunny hopped over them on trails. WHat kind of snakes are you coming across.
This better that Future Motion Pint S ( $1,400) This Inmotion E20 only cost $700
Dual battery mode on the v14-50s is the most underrated feature that should be available on all future wheels worth buying.
What are you using for a microphone that issues with your insta360? Link?
Glad to hear you’re recovering and still able to ride. We appreciate your videos
Thank you for sharing. Are you riding with pedals at stock height?

Hello. I'm planning a trip to Patagonia, it will be 30 days and 1500 km. I will go through rain, rocks and dirt. Do you think the Sherman or lynx is suitable for this adventure? Does it behave well in rain and wet terrain? I checked that you can charge the Sherman S with a 5V battery in 7 hours and the Lynx in 3 hours and that is important to me. Thank you
nice one
Thanks man
Why the sound before crash? Battery low?
I overpowered the wheel on purpose so it beeps to let you know you are at the limit.
Talking about a drink, I miss the XXXX.
Watching TH-cam is thirsty work :) Cheers I say!
❤
Thanks for checking it
"Gotta go home and have a drink..." ...and a doughnut or cake 😆 Interesting comparison between Lynx and V14 [re the V14 being a bit more nimble off road]... thanks for sharing your thoughts. Not many of us can ride all these different wheels to try them out. We need people like you! 🥰
Thanks for taking the time to drop a nice message, the cake is my secret weapon :) fuels my rides. I would still be happy with a V11 but you can absolutely notice how things have progressed when I jump between wheels. It’s nice to offer what I can as I’m learning. Thanks for following the channel.
Honestly the small tire on the v14 makes it iffy for any serious offroad. It's lighter by abit sure but my 75lb 20" wheel does trails fine and I'm a beginner.
Would you get the Sherman L?
I’d have them all if I could hey :) every wheel has its thing I reckon. Even the E20 has its place. Hope you’re well Curt. I think I might get a chance to make a vid on Sherman L maybe Eriderz has one.
You're unlikely to feel pedal dipping on a downhill. A hillclimb that makes my wheel put out 2700W only regenerates 700Watts on the exact same descent. I think that leaves a ton of overhead on descents. It's steep, sharp hillclimbs that cause the dipping from what I've seen online. How are you liking the lynx compared to the v13 for trails?
yea agree I’m not hitting the edges of Lynx just now, Taking things kind of easy until my last follow up broken arm appointment next week. Lynx is easier in the trails and the suspension is all over the V13. The height and weight of V13 makes it hard hard work which is great if that’s what you want. Also V13 suspension is not set up for this stuff it’s more the open road cruiser. I beat my V13 up quite a bit and jumped it some, it took it all and still rolls perfect. I miss it maybe I’ll roll on it next. Thanks for taking the time to drop a good comment.
@@eucaus I just saw that other video, congrats on getting out there with a broken bone lol. I'd be super careful if i were you.
Lol@ 6:22 your Porn stuff 😂
How do you feel about this wheel now that you have a v14? The 22" tire and pedal clearance is still calling to me, my local trails are so rooty and my current EXN is too low to the ground, already clipped a root once while being super careful so I know it'll catch me and cause a fall eventually. It's heavy but I don't want another 20" wheel, i want something big enough to roll over the roots and potholes in my city a little easier. Plus the seated riding looks way more comfortable on a 22" wheel. My bad knees don't allow more than 35kms standing so comfortable seated riding would be a huge plus.
I still really love my V13, acquired taste maybe, it took a while to really love it like no other wheel, just the weight and all that you said pedal clearance and stability, seated riding etc It is a harder curve to get comfortable with than any other wheel I’ve had but once you are there it is a joy for the stability and workout you get :) it still takes a heap for me to swing it around but it feels so solid it is still the only wheel I can hang off easily without it shifting too much. I am missing riding it lately and keen to take it out. No other wheel like it
Is that a Shinko 241?
hey, this is the Kenda 262 just stock that mine shipped with. I don’t mind it, it’s nice.
What size grizzlas did you get ? I got the large and they hang over the top.
Hey I have large they hang over a few cm but hold ok. I think you could add a slight upper fairing easy enough but I haven’t needed one yet.
@@eucaus thanks man
When I first started on my V10F, in winter I went to an indoor blow up soccer dome. Stayed mostly on the side lines except during team changes or empty field sections 😂. Cheers
I love rolling over soccer fields, always know the ground has been looked after :) roll safe Pat
I used to park there every day for work lol, Tax Office building, dunno if it's still that.
Hey thanks for letting me know :) it’s close to home and seems pretty empty at night it might be fun to use every now and then.
I just turned the acceleration assist off didn't really find a setting that instilled confidence for me...
Hey i totally understand that, I think the only reason i dont mind it at s i got used to adding it to my v13. Not sure it is really needed on this size wheel but maybe for smaller riders or seated stuff it can help a little. Thanks for watching and dropping a reply
Thanks FnB I enjoyed your ride. Your Lynx looks great 👍
Thanks for watching Ben. it was good getting out for a roll. Hope things are good for you.
NIce!
Thanks so much - cheers!
Pay particular attention while riding in areas that aren’t exposed to sun and rain because oil buildup can accumulate in spots that are more slippery than one expects. Just like toll-booth approaches on a motorcycle, the road conditions can vary widely from the surrounding area.
Great advice, I’d only ever hit the mountains on my motorbike after the roads had warmed up a little. Conditions can be so dynamic it’s how I broke my arm a few vids back on slippery wood surface. With only one wheel there is no back up to save you if you slide. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
@@eucaus Slippery wood has gotten me a few times, it always shows up out of nowhere. Glad you managed to recover in this ride and even finding your seat after you lost it, Thats the best feeling ever
