Hearing what seems universal praise for the Lynx honestly brings a tear to my eye. This is how a wheel should be and I'm glad to own such a wheel. Roll on!
Yep, totally agree here. It is how you want a release to roll out every time. Company taking the time to dial it all in, test it and release it knowing everything is in place for a great roll out. I think we all deserve a wheel like this. Enjoy yours man.
I got rid of my motorcycle also! You are going to love it! So much easier to get out and enjoy and you're not restricted to specific roads or dirt trails like you are on a motorcycle. Not to mention you can just throw it in the car With ease.
I was the same :) that is how it all started for me! I still have my bike but it sits while I wheel. It was one of the best choices I have made. Congrats! stick at it and overcome those initial fears and learn and you'll never look back. Awesome i'm stoked for you!
Almost the same. Got an extreme, waiting for my lynx. Selling my dirtbike. Beats a 3 hour drive to the trails when I can ride to the trails from my house.
I am over 840 miles (1350KM) on the Lynx, I like it so much, that I just cant get off of it. I ordered the Grizzla Flow pads, and the Grizzla replacement toe clamps for the Lynx, I cant wait to give that stuff a go.
GRIZZLA! they are amazing and make all my rides so much better - PLUG (use my code BAK5 and get 5% discount at GRIZZLA) I am feeling the same way about the Lynx, such a very nice experience and making me want to jump on it all the time.
Thanks again for your thoughts! I enjoy ur videos. U said not a scratch, but wait till u get it home and look it over. I have the patton and there are scratches i just cant explain. Hopefully u dont have that same problem. Good luck friend!
Thanks so much for the comment. Sorry for the delay it has been busy. I am not looking close now :) Id rather not know about scratches until I deserve to have one. At least you can replace parts to get your look sorted out again. Patton is such a great wheel!
Congrats brother! Lynx envy right here! Just wondering what was the battery lvl after your ride???? Keep up the stellar work. Looking forwards to you Lynx vids!
I just did a 50 mile ride with a little over 3000 feet of elevation gain and half of that was on dirt with a lot of bumps and I was riding pretty hard with a lot of accelerating and decelerating. I'm 165 pounds and the battery was 27% when I was done. I was riding in the middle of the night and I almost hit a wild pig! That just added to the adventure.
Both... :/ Umm I really still need to spend some time with a range of riding to tell. Maybe so far for street I have the Lynx more suited. The V14 is set nicely for the trails and feels great! I really like how easily I can adjust the settings on the V14 on the fly.
Fully agree here, I think the weather rating on the V14 makes it a better option for many. We get crazy flash storms here and I would rather be commuting on the v14 that day
I really need more time to tell. So far the Lynx feels more zippy but I think with some power assist turned on strong you might get the v14 just as zippy. I will test it and make a video of how I go.
hi, now I am using Leatt Z frame braces, Leatt air fit light body armour, Shoei helmet, Alpinestars CRX boots and Kevlar gloves. :) Gotta dress for the slide :)
Hey man. Cool video. I just subscribed. What kind of helmet are you wearing? I am a onewheeler (futurrmotion) a week ago I got hooked into the euc world. I ended up buying a used Veteran Sherman with only 300 miles. I am still learning but love my choice. I am now selling my Onewheel GT 😅
welcome along! so great you have found your way to EUC. Thanks for subscribing to my channel this helps me so much. I hope you really enjoy EUC it was a game changer for me. Enjoy!
That is a very good question :) I cant believe I didn't check it. I got home and plugged it back into charge before I thought to check. I will do a range test asap.
Well maybe there I might say Lynx, as a city commuter the wheel feels really stable good range and small and light enough. V14 has a better weather rating so that might come into the decision. Both absolutely great and you could do it with either.
@@eucaus i have og sherman. And weather ceiling on that is good enough for me so I believe the Lynx is OK as well. does the Lynx feel lighter than the 14 to ride? Like the V12 doesn’t require any effort to ride forward. And OG Sherman is way easier to push forward than S 22
I think removing the standard jump pad and using a large Grizzla would be the best way, the pad that is a part of the kit is more for grip I think the size is much the same.
@@eucaus Im considering the grizzla flow in the future. Im running the clark kong pads they fit on my master but for being on the lynx I feel unsafe being that locked in for now.
@eucaus how are you finding the suspension? I'm currently 82kg riding weight and finding the 66lb suspension a little hard. I was 8kg heavier when I preordered.
I need more time to play to get a good idea for each, they feel quite different hey. 16" feels a little more wild horse needs some taming. 20" feels like a racehorse a little more planted. That is only initial thoughts I need to get some settings into V14 I think to tame it.
I want to gain experience mostly to try to learn and help offer what I learn on my channel. It is a commitment to my health and for me to take my channel seriously.
How good are Leaperkim! it was the test ride of sherman s and patton at eriderz that sold me. This Lynx is the same build quality and you can just tell it was designed by people who ride or listen to the community. Geez it's nice.
Hey man sorry I got lost in all these comments. I went with the hype train and wanted this wheel to be fully pimped so I went with 50s. It feels so strong 💪 I also thought the price only a small upgrade for the 50s. good luck I am sure any would be amazing!
Hey thanks for the comment. I still haven't set my suspension up. It felt ok out of the box and just rolled. I have 66lb spring what do you have in yours?
@@eucaus 66 also.. seen light riders like the 66. I’m coming from a Sherman so a lot higher. Just a little bit to get used to. Less than 100 ks so far. Different wobble to get used to. Nothing that has caused me concern. I have been unwell so I have not had any opportunity to go out properly. Just a few short runs

Dude! Thrilled for you, mate. The new wheel looks good on you. Thanks for taking us along on your first ride.
Hey Trev :) thank you mate!! thanks for coming along on the adventure
hello friend, I'm waiting for such a lynx from China, I'll get it in February!
Congrats!!! FEB is now :) any day.
Such a great feeling being excited for something. Enjoy the whole experience.
@@eucaus спасибо
Just wait until you get comfortable, it's an absolute beast of a wheel, The acceleration and braking are next level.
I wish I had more legs and more time :) Just can't get enough of each wheel atm
I find it hard to accelerate fast, guess more practice is needed
@@Happyantix112 on the lynx? If so you just need more practice and you need to lean harder. It's extremely hard to cut out the wheel
I love that setup with removing the toe part of the Grizzla and using the stock jump pad portion.
I am adding the LYNX kit atm so I’ll do a video to show how that changes things.
Grizzla now sells an upgrade kit for the Lynx specifically
Hey yea it looks great! I have it on the way. I am an affiliate with them and have a 5% discount if you ever need use code bak5

Ok...you absolutely love this wheel...I can tell 😂.....
I really do already. It feels like a great wheel Dave one to put on the list for sure :) a real good all rounder to do many things I think.
Great seeing this. Nicely done and thanks for sharing! Loving my Sherman OG, but think I might need to add Lynx the collection :)
Thanks Matt :) I am really loving it hey great to have a leaper in the collection. Cheers man
What are you thoughts comparing the Lynx to the V13? Thanks for sharing.

my main question is how well the lynx will do as an all weather wheel. You are lucky to have the v14 as a,fall back.
Fully agree here, I think the weather rating on the V14 makes it a better option for many. We get crazy flash storms here and I would rather be commuting on the v14 that day
Quality sells… amazing.
This wheel looks so awesome, awesome specs, it has everything i wanted from the v14.
Can't w8 for it 2 drop in price
Would definitely appreciate some S16 Pro content too
I am working to line up the schedule, I had a very quick zip and it felt really great. Looks like it was built well and had a lot packed in.
How does the acceleration and nimbleness of the Lynx compare to the V14?
I really need more time to tell. So far the Lynx feels more zippy but I think with some power assist turned on strong you might get the v14 just as zippy. I will test it and make a video of how I go.

Vs v14 - what is most comfy?
Best for city riding / commuting

I think that the pad area isn't big enough. If grizzlas can tackle this issue.

@@BlackSheriff84. I am under 80 kg now and got the 66 also. A few kg seem to make a big difference.
Do you have a long range wheel?at least a 3600wh
I have the V13 but it is limited by weight, you cant call it a long range wheel really 90km ish. I think Lynx will roll further than V13 easily
would you prefer this over v14? why or why not? thanks
