Yes, I sold my 2005 Grand Prix GTP. I grew out of it and it couldn't get any faster unless I put a turbo in it. So what did I do? I bought my Grand Pa Buick. Best pull was my 3rd pull after putting a bigger MAF sensor on. 334 whp and 419 lb of torq!!!!! I was happy. Tim at ZZP did a great job and was being really patient with my computer.

My motor out of my car, being build XP Cam, ZZP CNC heads with 130 lb springs, ZZP stage 2 Intercooler with stage to 3 Heat Exchanger, Rollermaster double roller timing chain. Stock 1.6 rockers, cut out intake manifold running on a 3.0 MPS. All new bolts and gaskets.

Quick 0 to about 110 mph video. It was 32* degree out side. I have my Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires on. I hit a little salt and started to spin. My car was dyno at 286 whp. I just got a 2017 buick regal sports touring as my first car. I saw one of your comments where you said it was around $800 for 100hp gains, which blew my as today the elite trifecta tune package alone cost more. Where do you suggest i start? I definitely want the trifecta tune and a k&n intake though.
I would start with zzp website. They may offer remote tunes now. They did not when I owned the car.

Not to bad. There is some cutting of plastic. ZZP does pretty good job with instructions. I would recommend going with black intercooler hoses. They hide better in the engine bay.

I have this engine in my 2011 Saab 95 turbo. Last week I heard a pop as I was turning in the neighborhood and my turbo started making a wheezing sound and I’m getting no boost! Engine runs fine no smoke in the exhaust but something has definitely happened under the hood I don’t know where to start! There’s no information on these damn motors! Any clue what I should look at first? Thank you and nice regal!
You probably blew the charge pipe of the turbo. The pipe might have broken or just came off. So, you do not have any boost right now.
@@jmrtinez69 where is the pipe? I can’t find anything loose right off hand. Does it run down 5he front of the engine down to intercooler?

How much hp can the stock trans handle as a daily? And are these trans easy to rebuild stronger?
Really depends on how you drive it and if you take it to the track. My motor had around 380 wheel HP and stock trans had around 160k on it. Hope this help.

It has a tune from ZZP. They tune the speed limiter out.

badass makes me miss my grand prix GTP you can hear the supercharger kick in when you hit it
yes get the Trifecta tune more bang for the buck creates more HP than the other mods . keep the automatic turbos prefer auto matic vise stick and will last longer . you can up grade to auto with a shift kit which makes it shift faster than stick. I you have money a slight stall converter will help mainly in the Quarter mile time slips . Most drag racers prefer a automatic for consistency where as a stick is not consistant .
Sticks shift do not last. Automatic is better with turbo easier on the drive train . Most drag racers prefer automatc to stick shift because of time slips . It is mainly the clutches that don"t last even heavy duty . automatc trans will out shift manuals any way .
You are so right. Unfortunately I didn't know that when I got the car. Also that year had a chain driving transmission. Yes it blew up. Lol. $2,800 later and new transmission. I sold it one year later.

@@MyVideosOnYT1 It should say somewhere under the hood or got to dealership and ask. If you have a Regal turbo it's probably the 2.0 liter turbo. I would do some research on your car and then contact ZZPERFORMANCE.

What happens to the MAF?
It did not list a value in a range that the pcm could read. So zzperformance changed it to a higher resistance for pcm to recognize.
What does mods like that cost?
Around $4,000 at the time.

@@damienbittled901 heads go on top of the cylinder/pistons. Heads also hold you valves and springs.

Yes undid motor mounts and pulled motor forward. It was tight and had took some time.

What’s done to the trans?
Heavier spring to shift harder and quicker (ZZP shift kit) and raised pressure with tune. Really its stock trans lasted 157,000 miles than it was redone. Hopefully this helps.
My GP has no mods and it easily does that and more
