- Handaling mods are: KYB GR2/Excel G struts, Anti Pogo washers, powder coated brakes and brackets with power stop ceramic pads on Slotted and Cross-Drilled Zinc Plated Rotors, Poly Motor Mounts, rear sway bar. All pretty basic upgrdes. I only upgrade when something needs to be replaced.
OH man I wish I had a Parts breakdown for your car.. I love all the Stuff you did with it.
thank you, part break down is in the comment section under the video.
@ditimedia93 brakes are great the powder coated brakets and calipers look great. the ceramic pads are wearing nicley. the rotors are starting to show some rust but are well worth the money. thanks for the comment.
they stop alot better than stock
I belive i point it out on the video. It is the vary top washer that goes on top of the hole strut asembaly. You can see it from engine bay on top of strut tower.
no there just the stock springs form a local dealer. GMP is General Motors Performance. You might be able to get them from the Wbody store.
@ditimedia93 Yes a little if i had to say about 10% better in normal day driving. but about 30% better when your really breaking hard. 120 mph to 0 mph is wear you really feel the difference.
yes I do take it to the track once to twice a year. I have some videos uploaded to my youtube chanel.
Do your rotors still look as if they where fresh out of the box and how many miles have you put on them
they look good for the money they look really good. But are not the same as a really high end brand like EBC High end rotors. They have discolored a little. There is no rust yet. I would say they will be replaced in 3 years or there going to be in real rough shape.
its your springs and struts which is causing the bouncing. hope this helps
New GMP stock springs. Wanted to keep it looking stock.
i notice when i brake hard my gtp bounces is that from old struts you think? would pogo washers help with that? my car is stock
Ordering Ssc lowering springs and Kyb excel g struts. Where exactly do the anti pogo washers go?
did you replace the springs or kept the stock ones?
Oh yeah i forgot to ask do you go to the track and if so how often. thanks again
Do u have to remove whole strip for pogo washer or just leave car on ground n swap???
jdm4stance no just swap with car on ground. I swapped full suspension when I put anti pogo on.
how are the brakes
got it them from zzp?
what wheels are those?
stock polished alloy wheels
You are aware that the anit pogo washers are only needed when the car is lowered/Lowering springs, Does nothing for stock height struts/springs...too funny
You must be one hell of a mechanic!??
+jmrtinez69 Rocket scientist for NASA Brah, Your video was funny though, Thanks for the laugh, Was waiting to hear something that actually made sense or was correct information. By the way you talk in this video you don't know shit about cars... What's next..Hi flow cabin air filter??????
+lukeyf4i Right on broh
no gxp brake upgrade?
No at the time I didn't have the money. that is a great break upgrade though.

Lol its cool. I got my kit off rock auto for 270 shipped and had the ss hoses made locally for 90. Way better than 600 plus their hoses that were on backorder for like 5 months now from zzp
