RC 2 beats the fudge out of those

Talking to girls about firmware updates.... Golden

A big point that was missed was with a phone its always connected to the internet so you can always have the most updated map and connection. With the RC i had to take out my phone multiple times to make it into a hotspot and then connect the RC controller to the phone to downlaod a map. Without the latest maps you cant zoom in and see alot of the detail of terrain and blocks.

Felt the decision was bias. Good information though. I have the 1st controller going to the 2nd because keeping a 2nd phone can get in the way for me. No real major reasons

Hi, great review..what the minimum distance for wide+macro?

See this as a stepping stone to FPV. 1. Buy a sim like Uncrashed. 2. Buy a camera drone and a dronemask. If you still like it after a while spend the money on a digital FPV drone and goggles like an Avata or a cinewhoop.

Great video! I was hoping for a 1.33x adapter, but the reasons you described make sense. I'd still prefer to have the option of a 1.33x with fuzzy edges (call it character 😅)

A company no one has heard of. A mere 30 day warranty. And a $500 price tag makes this a hard choice at this time. I DO want to believe but if a new company doesn't have enough confidence in their own product to offer a decent warranty it's hard to feel good about laying down the cash. Just because they can wire a circuit board doesn't mean it's going to keep up with android and google changes over time. These issues are not a given and there is no indication they will continue to update the firmware as the world changes. The issues noted below by @geodrone may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Great video! I’m afraid to buy a drone without obstacle avoidance so I’m either getting the 3 pro or 4 pro. I appreciate this video to help with my choice.

Is it me or does the mini 4 pro footage seem a lot softer than the mini 3 pro footage? Obviously TH-cam compression is a factor, but it still seems inferior compared to the m3p in these instances.

You cant use a bigger screen like a iPad for either controller?

Many will disagree but the mini 3 pro produces superb footage. I have used the mini 3 pro for content for use in mainstream television commercials, corporate videos and documentary work. Aside from the potential issue with windy locations, the quality of footage coming out of a small mini 3 pro is 100% usable. This is why I am only using mini's for work now, cheaper and the quality is still good. Remember, 99.9% of viewers will be watching your videos on 5.5inches of smartphone and you could film with a potato and it still looks great on a smart phone. Why bother buying more expensive more elaborate drones when there really is no need for them. Without letting in on my client base, I have a few videos which are being used as global promotions for certain brands and yes, the drone footage was the mini 3 pro. :)

Most drone flyers get in legal trouble because they have this need to get some online attention. I have flown for personal viewing in some circumstances that would be considered questionable. Will anyone ever see the footage, never as it will never be online. It is for personal enjoyment with family and friends.
