Good stuff as always, Ian. Since you asked about Waypoints, it has always irritated me that DJI will has 3rd party apps, such as Litchi, locked out. That wouldn't be an issue with me if DJI would simply include a "missions" feature ... so we could plan, plot and adjust our mission at our computer at home, and then simply download it at the location(s) and go. The Phantom 4 Pro Plus v2.0 that I had (which is still an excellent drone) wouldn't allow Litchi to work with it. REALLY!!! And I just couldn't justify the cost of a controller for it that uses a phone for the screen/controller software. Speaking of that: I just ordered an RC-N1 controller for my Mini 3 Pro so I could do just that ... since I got the bundle with the RC controller. And so it goes, eh? Tbh I’ve never got into Litchi or even waypoints (apart from hyperlapses). But also I can see lots of creative ways of plotting the same path at different times of the day. Or even more exciting - the same path in different seasons of the year. BBC Attenborough programs do this very impressively
The Air 3 is rumoured to have waypoints. But I think I’ll hold on for the Air3s
Yes the one thing I really want now is waypoints, so you can just set up everything and off the drone pops smoothing out the in-between bits. Would be really nice if you could set up particular actions at some of the waypoints as well!

You need the drone on. Though you can move from cine to normal mode on the remote

After I tried it and change the sittings to the lowest. Still I found it fast and I push the stick all the way.

I can't lie, bit too expensive for me, what would you recommend for a cheaper option? I find them fascinating for some reason and would love getting into them as a hobby but don't know much about them so could you recommend one for me please.
Just for curiosity sake how long dose it take you to upload a 3 min 4K video? Just curious as I live on a barge and have to use a dongle and would like a comparison.
I would say about 20 minutes on TH-cam. A bit longer after for 4k processing

@@TrogART moght be worth considering shooting and rendering in h265 for the compression (I do h264 but I don't have the dongle set up)

Yes you can slow the settings down to 1 m/s on all modes

I misread the original comment sorry guys, the Mini 3 Pro's Normal mode down to 1 m/s.. a regular Mini 3 sorry I don't think the update is out yet
