Oooh! I’ll check it out! I really liked that book “The subtle art of not giving a f*ck”, probably one of the best self help books i’ve read! No self help is totally great but I just never consumed any self help that actually cured my anxiety and depression. I lived 34 years with CRIPPLING anxiety, depression, and agoraphobia then within months it vanished after changing my diet, exercising, and taking the proper medication. There just isn’t an audiobook that can do that. With that being said, self help is great once you have the right “hardware” or health foundation to make long lasting changes. Self help has inspired me to make changes, but unfortunately that inspiration falls off shortly there after. thank you for your comment!!! appreciate it 😌✨✨✨

The anhedonia was a tricky one to be honest. I think what did it the most for me was probably just getting over the depression which was a mix of the buspar and the zoloft also lots of time and working out and not eating dairy and gluten. The wellbutrin, I think did the least for me personally but I still take it mostly out of habit. It might be doing more than I think though. Anhedonia is a weird one. Once i got a hold of my anxiety and depression and started living a life away from my, at the time. toxic relationship, I became more content being by myself and having hobbies/activities that brought me contentment.

My anxiety has recently been spiraling out of control out of nowhere the past couple of weeks and irritability is at an all time high. Just need help but Effexor and the doctors I deal with has left me with more anxiety about having any meds. 10 months to get myself off Effexor and still struggled for a year. That crap gave me PTSD for psych meds, it’s awful

Oh and I’d like to know how it affected depression. I don’t want to get more depressed ie, but I had ssri’s

It’s kind of hard to say!!! If your physical symptoms are the the manifestation of your mental state, then yes, you’re calmer and it never triggers your physiological reaction. However, sometimes it’s an origin issue, some people have chronic hypertension, or coronary artery disease, or arrhythmias and its the physical condition that inspires the nervousness. Beta blockers are a medication that has no direct psychological effect, but it slows down the heart and by just doing that people’s nervousness goes away. TLDR if you have bad health or heart health there’s no amount of anxiety medication that can help you until you fix your health with a lifestyle change. Thank you for your comment!!!✨✨✨🫀

I would say Wellbutrin makes social anxiety a teeeeny tiny bit worse in my personal experience. If you already have anxiety, wellbutrin gives you energy, so you’ll likely have more energy to do MORE overthinking and unnecessary mental gymnastics over tiny inconsequential things and make your anxiety worse. I think if it wasn’t for my buspar i’d probably would’ve had a much harder time! Thank you for your comment ✨✨✨😀

I think back to those days of painful eye contact and wildly difficult social interactions (🙃which wasn’t long ago at all) and I have a kind of sympathy and awe of my former self. Sympathy because that was such a hard way to have to live life and awe in that I had the courage to still get through the day and hold a job and maintain relationships through the pain. I’m glad to be mostly on the other side, but yeah sometimes eye contact is still just weird hahaha. I hope you find a mental health rhythm that works for you and learn to finally overcome some mental health and social barriers 😌✨✨✨I wish you the very very best!!

not realistic results, for real, is your butt falls off…. Realistic results are you might have a seizure.

My experience is that I get intoxicated with much less alcohol. I am 62 and been drinking my whole adult life, I am no lightweight. If you are going to drink I recommend trying it at home before going to a bar or restaurant. For me drinking is not as fun as it used to be, so I drink much less so I guess it’s a good thing.
