You’re hilarious! Best review I watched so far lol. I just started wellbutrin, and doc prescribed buspar recently. Haven’t started buspar yet. I’m still so astonished by the energy I have with Wellbutrin….im sore from cleaning my house last night & I can read…better too! It’s such an improvement for me after being depressed and unfocused for the past couple of months. Feeling like a human again…

I am up to 20mg busbar, 10 twice a day (only med). Each time I increased, my dreams got weird and vivid. I will probably stay at the current dose, my sleep got better. I switched to dose from 10am/10pm, to 8am/8pm, this has improved my sleep. I have gone on road trip, so the med is working. I am not as anxious while my kids travel. I have changed my drinking habits, only a occasional beer or seltzer

I absolutely agree on forcing yourself to get that 7-9 hours sleep period. I take 150mg wellbutrin too, but I try to do an evening ritual to set myself up for sleep. Melatonin helps too! Thanks for your videos, they're very good!

Thanks Alyssa!! sleep is everythinggg!…thankfully sleep has gotten a lot better on wellbutrin but i could definitely use a consistent sleepy time evening ritual. Melatonin is a small miracle, it has really helped me in the past! thanks for your feedback i really appreciate it!

Glad to hear you are doing well. 150 mg of Wellbutrin SR here for about 3 months. We have similar experiences with it. Thanks for the alcohol insights. I'm gonna try a little Jameson soon. It has been too long since I've had a drink. 😜

ahhh yessss! I pretty much only drink whisky and occasionally wine! It was fantastic news to have some whiskey and not have a full blown violent seizure...Im pretty big fan of whisky so I might of just risked a lil seizy every now and again, but def glad thats not the case!

Hey! Awesome update, our situation is a bit reversed with myself on high dose of wellbutrin for a year and just starting 15mg of buspar. Made some good points, good to see Buspar still working and yea it is relatively small dose compared to others. Also i agree on alcohol situation, it will 100% be a hard mental health day after drinking and take couple days to be back to normal.

@@robertmakesashow7089 Well ive slowly stepped up in the course of a year to 450mg. Honestly it has helped me tremendously and ive accomplished and overcome things i dont think i could have done b4. But its to high of a dose, new Doctor believes anxiety is actually more of the trigger that gets me spiraling into my funks. So I'm hoping buspar will help balance myself more and i can start lowering wellbutrin dose.

    • @robertmakesashow7089

@@MikadoWhispers Super glad to hear the wellbutrin was working for you! I think you're going in a really nice direction with the buspar, let me know how it goes. It would be real nice to taper the dosage of that wellbutrin, its pretty strong stuff. I can't really be sure but I think I get most of my benefits from the buspar and the wellbutrin just gives me an extra jolt of energy. I wish you all the best!

I also agree with you that we should watch our drinking with this kinda medication because i find if i have a few drinks, i tend to black out.

I like your approach to meditations. And thank you for sharing your experience. I’m 58 and self medicated with weed and alcohol since high school. It work pretty well. (Ok not really!) I quit alcohol about 8 years ago. I have also quit weed for the most part. I will only smoke weed when camping or occasionally on a mountain bike ride. I realize that I’ve lived with anxiety my entire life. Now that I no longer self medicate my anxiety and depression are crippling. I’ve tried Lexapro and Wellbutrin. Both had side effects. Lexapro caused insomnia and Wellbutrin increased my anxiety. I was prescribed Buspirone today same dose as you. I’ve watched several of your videos following your journey. I especially like this one as you have now combined the 2 meds. I just stopped the Wellbutrin this week, and Im thinking I will give Buspirone a chance. And who knows maybe try adding Wellbutrin back into the mix if needed down the road.
Stay strong brother, and keep us posted. 🤙🏼

thank you thank you for your feedback! how are you doing? has the buspar worked for you?✨ these drugs work but they do definitely take some time. i def liked to smoke weed in the past but it really worked against my drugs and i haven’t touched the stuff in almost 3 years now. Honestly so cool to hear you cut out the alcohol. You sound like a healthy active guy, hopefully the buspar will work wonders for you. Feel free to go low and slow with the dosage. i still only take 10mg (5 and 5) but i’ve found a nice balance. thanks again for your comments and feedback, it really helps me to stay positive and keep going! Thanks for the comment ✨✨✨ My memory doesn’t seem to be affected in anyway. I’ve been on these drugs for some time but possibly an slight increase in memory. When you’re anxious and in fight or flight, it’s hard to focus and remember things. just by virtue of being more calm, it’s definitely easier to form and store memories. also, I exercise a whole bunch and when that’s combined with these medication’s it’s super good for your brain.
