Hi mate, greetings from England, UK. Top tip: Every tackle box on every fishing trip should always contain these 3 items..... 1: A hot-melt glue stick (with a cigarette lighter). 2: A tube of Superglue. 3: A reel of electrical insulation tape. As a former match angler, these 3 items have got me out of a muddle many times and are now a permanent and essential part of my kit.
Very innovative. I have watched a few of your videos because I make wooden fishing lures as a hobby. I've always had an interest in 3D printers. After watching a few of your videos, I've subbed.
Thank you for this lovely comment, it means a lot, how’s fishing in Poland? Is it better than Czech Republic? I’m a bit disappointed with fishing here in Prague area.
@@LureLogicOfficialwell, it depends on the owner of the lake, two dominators at in are PZW and fishing farms, some of the water of boths of them are pretty neglected, but there are also hidden gems. I have that luck that I am living near 2-3 really good lakes and there are a lot of fishes too, but it is not always that good in other regions of Poland.
I'm glad im here early cause i love the vibes from your vids cant wait to see you grow man crazy that you pull the views but no one subscribed, i believe you'll make it tho keep up the grind
Hi, im a match angler over in thw uk and fish mainly for carp and f1s often in the method, your pellets were too dry and you werent compacting them enough onto the method feeder, also try putting more line on your spool right to the ridge, it will help you cast more efficiently, great video idea.
Thanks for the tips! Regarding the line, I have a reel spooled with braid that I mainly use but I didn’t want to cast braid with this rod. I had an empty reel and some feeder line so I used it just to test the rod and catch a fish on it.
Hmm, as I was watching this video, it made me curious - what if you printed it from not PLA, but PET-G thought? I am looking forward for more tests of this rod :). Also it is a pretty good video.
I don’t think it’s a material problem, PLA is stronger than PET-G. The main problem was the wall thickness, I made it about 1mm thin to squeeze in some height. The newest version I’m working on will be even better than both rode I already printed. It will be 2 pieces instead of a telescopic rod.
Mix the Groundbait with just enough water so it makes a ball when you squeeze it in your hands, but breaks down back to crumbs when you rub it together.
Oh man, I saw your vid on my YT homescreen like 10 times, until I finally decided to give it a chance. You made me stop and rewind the vid when I heard Czech Republic - totally unexpected and maybe that's why it was on my homescreen for so long, since that's where I am from :D Don't be afraid to use more water in your ground bait, you can test it by pressing it in your hand slightly tight - if it falls apart like a sand - not enough water, when it holds its shape - it's ok. If it's liquidy... well... too much water :D You will learn that eventually, it is just about practice ^^ Give "non-predatory" fish a chance, they are great, even carp. Most of czech anglers loves to catch carps (bigger = better) and we love to eat those smaller ones. But there are so many other fish that you can catch. And they are beautiful and can put up a good fight. I recommend to take a look at some czech fishing channels, find some that can provide some subtitles for better understanding and / or find a czech fishing friend - guide, someone who knows those waters around you well. Even in Prague you can find nice fishing spots! :)
Thank you for your encouraging comment, I have watched a couple of Czech TH-camrs but they don’t have subtitles. I did enjoy bottom fishing and float fishing even though I didn’t catch many fish.
maybe instead of pressure fit on V2, some holes with a retaining pin? Holes on the handle side, and nubs sticking out on the pole side that can gently flex into the holes?
Nice innovation dude, i think the second rod failed because its not locked well with the bottom part. Maybe you should make it like the bottom part with tread so you can screw it well. Nice job dude.
I know nothing about 3d printing but cool content maybe make the second rod without push fitting or if you do make the insert section go in further was hoping to see how far you could get with that one 👍
Thank you for the comment, it did break on one of the layer lines (it was printed horizontally). The part was not split into 2 but it became too loose to press fit.
Sorry, but I'm not selling any physical products at the moment, and the files are available for free. If you have a 3d printer, you can make it yourself.
Either roach or rudd, your feeder will work better without a bottom to it especially if your using it with a mix of pellets and groundbait. Looking forward to v3.... and a reel
the weird law is in place to protect predator fish in mating season, and in times they are more vulnerable. It actually makes a lot of sense. its just another way of nature preservation. anyway, nice rod.
Thank you for the comment. The reason I considered it weird is that in other countries these fish get protected but you can still catch and release them.
The rules here are very weird, I'm still trying to figure them out cause there are lots and lots of rules. There are general rules that apply to all the fisheries in the country like this no lures rule from January to mid June, and there are rules per pond or section of a river. I learned a couple of weeks ago that there are a couple of areas where you can use lures all year round, but the river is flooded at the moment so it's impossible to fish these places anyway. Regarding fly fishing, I think it's OK but I need to double check that on the 2000 page book 🤣
Weird regulations? I'm not gonna talk what kind of shit is happening in Poland, especially in winter. At least we can fish with lures. But at what cost

Hopefully with version 3 I will catch a fish earlier 🤞🏻

May as well print the fishing reel too! it should be pretty simple just 2 gears and a spool or something like that
I think someone did print a reel before, it’s somewhere on thingiverse. Maybe I someday try it. All that is left is the line 😂

Nice vid, It was certainly nor a chub, nor a roach. The second fish that you caught looks 100% like a dace, but I'm not 100% sure if it is a dace.
