I dunno… I was one of those people that didn’t care about a credit score, didn’t get any education about how important your credit score is, and I racked up debt like an idiot. He says they invite around 50% of the companies that submit project pitches, so don't get too excited if you get invited to submit a Phase 1 proposal because you still only have a 10 to 15% chance (if that) of being awarded one. The second big take away was that if your solution is not risky enough, and by that he said, "If you are convinced you can actually produce your product given enough time and money, you probably are not going to get funded". Both of these were big eye openers for me, that said I am still submitting my project pitch but with a lot less enthusiasm.
