    About Stacy Chin, Ph.D.
    Dr. Chin is an expert federal grants and contracts advisor specializing in science and technology start-ups (public and private) pursuing technical R&D commercialization funding opportunities. For +10 years, she has successfully helped start-ups secure +$15 million in non-dilutive funding. She also served as an SBIR/STTR reviewer for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). Dr. Chin has worked on innovations and applications spanning medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biomedical technologies, therapeutics, digital health, UVAs, novel materials, sensors, AI/ML/NPL, defense, AgTech, manufacturing, EdTech, and energy. She has helped clients pursue SBIR/STTR grants (Phase I & II) for the NIH, NSF, DOE, DHS, DOD, USDA, NOAA, and many more. Dr. Chin also helps clients prepare larger federal grants/contracts and RFPs, including GHERI, PCORI, ARPA-E, ARPA-H, CDMRP, R01, DLA, PMRP, SOCOM, CPRITS proposals, and many others. She also consults many start-ups on their go-to-market strategy and has written many SBIR/STTR commercialization plans across all industry areas.
    Dr. Chin also consults early-stage start-ups spun out by academic professors, medical doctors, and start-up executives. She has worked with Founders spinning out start-ups from leading research institutions across the US including MIT, Beth Israel, Harvard, Columbia Univ., UCLA, Brown Univ., Boston Univ., MSK, NYU, and more. Previously, Dr. Chin was a TechStars SBIR/STTR mentor (nationally known deep-tech accelerator), a former medical device start-up Founder & CEO for 8+ years, and a TEDx speaker. She has a Ph.D. in chemistry, is an inventor on +20 patent applications, and has published 6+ peer-reviewed journal articles.
