I have a Super cub C125 as you say the seat is crap if your over 5ft 9ln .I bought a bench seat from Ebay cost £150 but still like riding with a plank strapped to your bum ...Not to be beaten I had extra foam and a none slip cover fitted . My riding position is about 2 inches higher for the moment but its very very comfy I can travel all day at 45 to 50 .The 1 other thing I have had fitted is a buzzer on my indicators as a few times I have had a few near misses

Bought a 24 end of July in London and drove it 4300 miles round trip to Dracula’s castle in Romania in 5 weeks. Had a great time and I was only disappointed on long inclines when I had to drop down to 20-30 mph. I highly recommend putting rear tire on front, tracks so much better in the rain and mud Also cut down my HD windshield and attached it using mirror extenders. Had a welder make me up a set of forward pegs for stretching out and that was a game changer for comfort. Bought a two liter extra gas tank that I hung off the side but rarely needed it Brought a collapsible top box with me from USA and it held all my gear. Also brought along a spare prong chain which I switched out on the way Even with good lubrication on a regular (300miles) basis I was out of adjustment in less than 3600 miles I bought one in Colorsdo first to test out mods and since it was good here I decided on the Drac ride Haven’t seen another one in the US nor did I see one in Europe Those almost 130 million sold must include 129 million in Asia

I will pick mine up tomorrow at the dealership, I think you are right about beeing a future classic, I was looking for something completely different though, It definely is far more beautiful in person that in an image from the internet, I intend to keep mine as healthy as yours looks, it is the same model/colour scheme. Good video. Im getting a supercub and would like to put on a useful box as such. Im curious how secure the box is to the bike and also how secure the box is in itself. Can those kids be trusted to assemble the box?

Is it OK to use standard oil instead of synthetic oil? And the second question is when you purchase the scooter from the factory, do they use standard oil or synthetic oil initially?

I like the more classic Blue/white with a red seat on my 2020 much better. The graphite gray just doesn't have the classic look.

This summer I went to Corsica and back. 1,900 miles in two weeks by country roads and side roads. Lovely 😍

I have a 2019 Supercub. The seat is really bad, made worse by the high peg height. I can't ride it for hours, because I will hurt....'down there'. But it sure is fun.

Got an 86 C90. Cuts out in the rain so bought a 2019 C125. Like you said works fine. Miss the mirrors, seat and Kick-start.

As someone looking to get into biking, but living in London with no interest in doing long camping trips etc…how would you say this CT125 stands up against say a Grom (MSX) or a Suzuki VanVan. I’ll be mainly pottering around suburbs of London, might ride it into the city (but on avg 40mph motorway and typical congested inner city London roads) with the occasional trip on say a motorway to see friends who live just out of London (1hr away). I was torn between a Grom and VanVan but saw this and now completely confused 😂😂

Honda should upgrade this 125 to 15 hp, 9 is not a lot. They could also make a GT version a bit larger with 300 cc engine. Honda really should make classic looking bikes.

I had two cub 90's in my time in London, was the most fun things I have ever ridden, although I do like the new Honda cub

As someone who considers adjusting the tappets a major operation, well done on the deep dive.

While it's better not to have a machine break at all, if it does, and when you can dig deep inside to fix it yourself, it gives you a stronger sense of self confidence and a better bond and more enjoyment with that machine. Amazing skills )and friends) to have in our world today of disposable culture and hiring out to do anything. Those trails look AMAZING!! Well done Fred!

I have just bought one (delivery next week on my Birthday), I have owned a few when I was a kid (c90) loved them! I currently own; Vespa Douglas 200cc, Vespa 300GTS and a Piaggio Liberty for commuting! The Liberty is making way for the Supercub and I cannot wait to ride it!

Hi - please advise: the SC125s here is the USA are not sold with rear footpegs or seats, but as you know they are available and I have them for mine. The max weight listed is 234lbs. I became aware of this motorbike last year in Vietnam, where I would typically see families of 3-5 on the Supercub so…is it reasonable to expect it to pack 2 people maybe 315lbs total? Instead of just reading a bunch of specs, he actually shows you by taking measurements. That's when I knew I would enjoy this review.

I just sold off my '83 c70 Passport and upgraded to the same red & black SuperCub. It's honestly a great improvement. While there are some things that aren't as perfectly simple as the older models (kickstand/starter, seat, key system, battery location), there's a lot of improvements (lights, engine, disc brake, wheels, exhaust) that make it a worthwhile upgrade.

I know this is an older video, but great shout. Just to let you know, the mirror is easily broken (ask me how I know…) You can remove the rubber peg covers, but you have to remove the peg to do it… annoying.

No need to remove the chain or rear sprocket..leave it all attached to the swinging arm Remove the rear nut on the torsion arm, and the brake barrel nut You can get the rear wheel out. You need to scrub the tyres in for about 100 miles first

just watched ya vid...was in two minds which one to buy as had a c90 42yrs ago but liked the idea of the 125cc engine ...any ways just got a 2002 c90 a week ago as it was the right price at the right time as they say ....I liked how you compared them thanks for the vid ..

In general I like Super Cub but I have other small Honda bikes: Dax 125 and Vision 110. The problems I do see in current SC is the keyless system which I had in one of my bikes and I never liked it. Second one and it's a deal breaker is a colour. I would like to have a classic colour scheme.

Ideal for travelling around Wales where the roads have limits of 20, 30 and 50mph. Looking to purchase one for my daily commute.

Anyone else know the toothpaste trick?
