Sea Lions ARE more dangerous than seals, but mostly for the reason that they aren't as bound to the water. A Leopard Seal's max land speed is about 5-10 km/h and they tire out quickly because they aren't really suited to that movement. Meanwhile a sea lion is a bit closer to a bear and can hit like 24 km/h. That absolutely can run humans down on land, and if it decides you have or are food it might. People seeing a sea lion on land should treat it similarly to how they treat a big cat or a bear.

In the cassowary videos alot of them are shot in a specific beach i recognise called Etty Bay, where there are some VERY humanised cassowaries. Only a year ago i was there, they had a baby at the time and the baby was activly trying to play with small children (chasing them lol) while the dad didnt give a single shit. Its a huge problem in my opinion, these cassowaries come right up to people, steal their lunch straight from the table and will get cranky at you if you refuse. And Tourists are NOT helping as they keep bloody feeding them, only making the issue worse in the long run! I dread the day i hear something happened, because the council hasnt done shit to try and protect these animals, and its probebly gonna cause someone to get killed >:(

listen man you can't just tell people not to touch wild animals we need to understand that we are apart of nature and learn from it to gain wisdom so that we can better interact with these creatures. With wisdom, respect and a some comfortable fear we can better our interactions with these creatures for generations to come. And trust me I've lived around bears so I'm not just talking without experience.

Do you know how satisfying it is to see one of these animal "experts" get their shit pushed in by the animal they're trying to interact with? Ever see that bull shark "expert" on discovery channel's shark week? The one who did yoga to become more like the sharks or whatever, he and the guy interviewing him were in chest deep water with bull sharks swimming around the two. The camera that was underwater got it all. You see a big bull calmly roll onto his side, open it's mouth and did a quick little...prebite then it followed that up with a serious "I'm getting fed" kind of bite as it clamped down on the shark-yoga expert's calf muscle and started to drag his dumbass out to deeper water. He survived but there wasn't much left of his leg below the knee. The first time I saw that, i giggled my ass off for a good 15 minutes. As for the whole seal thing...there are some seals off the coast of California that (depending on the time of year) like to steal scuba divers masks...right off the divers faces when the divers are about 20-30 feet down. The divers will never see their mask again because the seals grab-n-go.

I watched this show a couple months ago. I usually don't watch these type of shows but just wanted to try it out. Boy, I didn't realize how toxic this show was. When watching this I was shocked at the blatant cheating present and encouraged throughout the entire show. I wasn't expecting that and to be honest, didn't realize shows like this were popular.

One of my scariest wildlife interactions was not when I came face to face with a black bear but rather when I was hiking by myself and crossed paths with a female moose and her calf. I don't know how these people walk up close to these animals. My heart practically dropped out of my ass and I was able to slowly move away and find a group of hikers with bells and dogs to walk the rest of the way down the trail. Maybe it's because I was raised with the idea that wildlife is first and foremost dangerous and unpredictable but I have never once even approached an animals that I didn't fully understand its behavior (and even then, always be incredibly cautious and aware!)
