I LOVE this show so much. I hunted it down when it first came out after seeing the trailers all summer. I'm so happy it got picked up for a third season, that is so rare for horror tv shows to make it long, especially with rather low views. I wish more people were talking about it because it deserves all the love possible.
Also, the two times Que Sera Sera was ever at the forefront of the opening I was watching were Heather (1988) and FROM (2022). I just love that so much. They just satisfy the random itch in the back of my head.

Hardly any videos about this show. It's completely blown me away. The acting, the writing, the production. It's been so long since I've found a shown that ticks every box and keeps me excited. Season 3 drops today and im glad they've spread the episodes out every week. Suspense is needed, even painfully, but I love having something to look forward to instead of binging the first 2 seasons so fast. Hoping this season is better than the first 2! Also just like i felt while watching The Walking Dead and thinking of zombies, now im always aware when the sun is setting lol
Honestly season 2 takes a dip. All we needed was people stuck in a town with vampire like monsters coming at night but all this weird stuff happens that does not make sense, like one thing after another and the solutions just don’t have real weight. Characters are like “that’s it, that’s the answer” and I’m like, okay I guess if you say so. I really did love the first season.
Ive been watching the show since it started, and ive definitely enjoyed it. But it leaves a very lot of things unanswered, and each new season you expect to get some of those things answered. But instead, they give you more new questions without answering the old ones. So im hoping we start getting a few reveals at some point.
Ive suspected since season two the writers dont really have a direction in mind and are just either hoping to farm fan theories down the road or simply painting themselves into a corner adding mysteries for the sake of mysteries until the show runs out of steam and gets cancelled. I do really enjoy the show though but cant shake that feeling its not really going anywhere

I've enjoyed each season as well, but every time a new season starts and they recap the previous season, I feel like 'ok maybe we'll get answers for that'..... only for the story to sort of dodge answering anything then moving on to new mysteries. And tbh.....I'm not sure anything has been answered at all. Not that it should be, but at least give some bread crumbs or something! I keep wondering if the show might get canceled before they end it properly. Which with streaming happens all the time.

I love this show, only watched it a couple months ago, but binged it quickly! It was filmed in my province and a scene from the third season was shot at my father’s property so I’m stoked to see what the third season brings! Since watching your video on this show I’ve begun bingeing it and I’m loving it so far , the recommendation is much appreciated lol . My theory for why the people haven’t left the town or tried very hard to figure out a solution is tied into the show’s theme , past traumas showing up in the form of long term consequences when not properly dealt with . Lots of people who struggle with trauma (including myself) suffer longer than necessary and cause more problems for themselves because they avoid dealing with their trauma and at times it can feel easier to avoid it than have to face it .

I started watching movies and series from non-English speaking countries a couple of years ago and I have never looked back. South Korean and Japanese horrors are incredible, I highly recommend you give them a try.
I absolutely love that series, I stated watching when the 2nd episode of season 1 aired and I've been hooked ever since. I don't usually get as heavily invested in a series anymore because of the cliffhanger end of series issue that seems to plague almost every show I've put a lot of time into watching but I'm willing to keep my hopes up for this show because it's so well made and written. I would love for this series to branch of into a novel series, it would make for an awesome read.
Lost is also one of my favourite shows of all time and I'm glad you said that a lot of the hate is due to a misunderstanding of the ending. I've been fighting that battle for years!

The funny thing about the show's name is how hard it was for me to find a sweater online that one of the characters wore during the show. I was trying "Where can I find this sweater from the show "from". I eventually found it but not through searching it online. I accidentally found the show a couple of years ago and binged the two seasons. Before that, I had never even heard of it. It is great and I am stoked there is a 3rd season coming out. It reminds me of Lost so I hope it doesn't crash and burn like that ending. Too many mysteries that never get answered. Another great show I found out of nowhere is "The Leftovers". That is a wild show and gets into some dark places. I would not recommend it to someone sensitive to suicide or doomer. Also, I would avoid it if you are kinda depressed at all. It is too black pilled for some people I'd imagine.

I totally forgot that I watched at least the first several episodes! Was in the process of telling my mother that we should check it out when you showed the trailer going through the town and it popped back in my head. I remember finding it fairly interesting, I don't know why I stopped watching other than maybe just getting distracted by a different series. Definitely going back to watch the rest!
I’ll give this a watch. For me the big one is Warrior. Truly magnificent show that Max cancelled, but Netflix picked up distribution rights. Despite all three seasons doing well on Netflix, we’ve just heard absolutely nothing about a fourth season which could very easily end its story. The actors all actively took part in asking fans to ask for a renewal, but it’s all gone quiet now and they all seem to have moved on to new projects. For anyone wondering what it’s about, it was created by Bruce Lee back in the 70’s and was originally turned into the show Kung Fu, which the studio changed so much of what Lee wanted. Fast forward to a few years back, Lee’s daughter, Shannon got all her dads writing on the show and managed to get it all green lit for Warrior. It’s a really cool kung fu show that is also a western that deals with politics, racism, gangsters, family, betrayal and romance. For me it’s the show I’ve loved the most since early seasons of Game of Thrones and Black Sails. Black Sails is another extremely under appreciated show.
I restarted watching Stranger Things last night. I forgot just how amazing that show literally is. From is great too, but re-experiencing stranger things has been so nice. I wish the last season would finally come out. Jeez.

A really really good show i love right now is Interview With the Vampire. It's kind of horror but more character driven as well. I know it's based on a book and there's a movie already but i swear the show is so much better than anything i've seen in a Long time. It's genuinely one of the best pieces of media right now i think. If you want a good show i highly recommend it!
Did you see the 90’s movie? I read the book about 20 years ago when I was 11-12 years old, so I’d love to see if it’s worth the watch because I do love the movie
@@Authorrlee Yes i have! It's definitely different but from what ive heard the show is actually closer to the book version and Anne Rice herself was involved in the show before she passed. They changed some things from the books but i think they add to the story. If you like the book and movie you'll probably like the show!

I have to agree with you in that From is a slow burner. I'm by no means suggesting that the show is boring. I also agree with you that those who want a steady caffeine boost worth of action might not enjoy the pacing in this series. I have one friend that loves the series, but I'm the one who got him into it. He kept making fun of me for watching such an awkwardly named obscure series but now he loves it. Although he keeps expressing reservations because he saw all of Lost when it aired and when he heard that the producers from Lost where also producing From, he expressed some reservations as he had issues with how it ended. Nobody in my social circles had ever heard about this series when I started watching it back in season one. It's hard to believe that as good as this series is that many still aren't getting the messaging. Good to see the appreciation for From and that you're enlightening those who are still unaware.
Watched a recap of the show from daniel cc movie channel. Thought the show sounded pretty rad. I ended up binging two seasons over the weekend. I totally forgot that I watched at least the first several episodes! Was in the process of telling my mother that we should check it out when you showed the trailer going through the town and it popped back in my head. I remember finding it fairly interesting, I don't know why I stopped watching other than maybe just getting distracted by a different series. Definitely going back to watch the rest!

I’ll give this a watch. For me the big one is Warrior. Truly magnificent show that Max cancelled, but Netflix picked up distribution rights. Despite all three seasons doing well on Netflix, we’ve just heard absolutely nothing about a fourth season which could very easily end its story. The actors all actively took part in asking fans to ask for a renewal, but it’s all gone quiet now and they all seem to have moved on to new projects. For anyone wondering what it’s about, it was created by Bruce Lee back in the 70’s and was originally turned into the show Kung Fu, which the studio changed so much of what Lee wanted. Fast forward to a few years back, Lee’s daughter, Shannon got all her dads writing on the show and managed to get it all green lit for Warrior. It’s a really cool kung fu show that is also a western that deals with politics, racism, gangsters, family, betrayal and romance. For me it’s the show I’ve loved the most since early seasons of Game of Thrones and Black Sails. Black Sails is another extremely under appreciated show.
Oh man I have never heard a single thing about this show but just off the first description of it I am hooked!

I restarted watching Stranger Things last night. I forgot just how amazing that show literally is. From is great too, but re-experiencing stranger things has been so nice. I wish the last season would finally come out. Jeez.
I'm glad you made this video. The only thing I heard or seen about this show is the movie poster and I frankly had no idea what it was about. I thought it was a horror movie tbh.

It’s such a great series, great character development, but I love a slow burn in that aspect, it’s a well written show.
Still catching up on it, but it's really intriguing. I'm really excited to see where it goes.
Sometimes I get sad, when I realize that "character driven" is enough to make something stand out.
I loved Lost and have seen it 4-5 times; i'd LOVE for you to do videos about it!!

Thoughts after watching was mainly, Why didn’t i know or hear anything about this show?! I kept seeing this on Amazon and thought it was gonna be some generic low quality show but I am so glad I finally broke down and watched it. This is a great show and I really hope it doesn’t get canceled

A really really good show i love right now is Interview With the Vampire. It's kind of horror but more character driven as well. I know it's based on a book and there's a movie already but i swear the show is so much better than anything i've seen in a Long time. It's genuinely one of the best pieces of media right now i think. If you want a good show i highly recommend it!

@@Authorrlee Yes i have! It's definitely different but from what ive heard the show is actually closer to the book version and Anne Rice herself was involved in the show before she passed. They changed some things from the books but i think they add to the story. If you like the book and movie you'll probably like the show!

My lord, I love from. I have only watched a few episodes but admittedly it is such a damn good show.
I have to agree with you in that From is a slow burner. I'm by no means suggesting that the show is boring. I also agree with you that those who want a steady caffeine boost worth of action might not enjoy the pacing in this series. I have one friend that loves the series, but I'm the one who got him into it. He kept making fun of me for watching such an awkwardly named obscure series but now he loves it. Although he keeps expressing reservations because he saw all of Lost when it aired and when he heard that the producers from Lost where also producing From, he expressed some reservations as he had issues with how it ended. Nobody in my social circles had ever heard about this series when I started watching it back in season one. It's hard to believe that as good as this series is that many still aren't getting the messaging. Good to see the appreciation for From and that you're enlightening those who are still unaware.

Watched a recap of the show from daniel cc movie channel. Thought the show sounded pretty rad. I ended up binging two seasons over the weekend. Soo glad I missed it when it aired, couldn't imagine not being able to binge. Maybe you could do a theory/predictions vid? Would 100% watch you rant about theories for this. Keep knocking them out of the park!

So I went to see if this show was on Amazon Prime just to find that not only had I added it to my watch list, but that I only have two weeks to watch the first two seasons for free. Guess I better get watching.
Ive been watching it from the start and whilst im enjoying it I also get the impression the writers dont know where its going and are painting themselves into a corner whilst hoping to farm 'fan theories'.
Or they'll just keep over egging the plot and mysteries until the show runs out of steam and gets cancelled
