I'm a 2003 Turtle fan too, and yeah I didn't like later series as much as that one, but I do see the value of those versions and believe they're solid takes on TMNT. This guy seems like he should understand and accept that not everything will be for him and that shouldn't mean anything he doesn't like is bad.

I have sed this on every apritello video I’ve see. Apparently that relationship was so bad on my head that Leo having a mini crush on April in mutant mayhem made start laugh/cry/panic attack in the middle of the theater. My sister was trying to remind me how to breathe as her friend (not nearly as big into tmnt as we are) looked on in confusion and here’s the best part! My sister is the huge Donatello geek to the point that I call her Dee more often than her real name. My favorite turtle is raph and yet I still had a more explosive reaction. I genuinely don’t know why this happened.

I have several notes for this dud. 1) in rise Leo and raph DO but heads it just hardly ever gets to the point of violence 2) 2003 only had like 3 instances where injury’s stayed for more than 1 episode however there were so many more instances of characters getting beat up and being mostly ok in the next scene 3) you know as someone who LOVES 03 he somehow forgot that all utrom had blue hair on there human suit and so does this Cynthia utrom its not rocket science

Honestly ROTTMNT was an eye opener for me. I used to hate it because that's what everyone was doing, I basically jumped on a bandwagon despite never seeing a single episode, but after I've seen TMNT fighting Shredder on TH-cam I decided Imma give the show a chance... And I was not disappointed. Now I think ROTTMNT is one of if not the best series, it has story, humor, good animations, character development... Yeah the show is childish sometimes but I guess that's what it supposed to be, seeing how TMNT was always aiming at kids/teens. The series is awesome and I wish more people gave it a chance.

Because they had gay characters in them Or the protagonist Was part of the LGBTQ Community (Not sure about Amphibia I know it was The case for The Owl House)

This is why I hate Disney. You'd expect the most kid-friendly show to be open to queer but NO THE FUCK THEY'RE NOT. I am currently writing a book where people are openly queer and if I were ever to CONSIDER making a show about it I will go straight to fucking TH-cam. Disney sucks ass

I really just loathe this weak morality. I mean, it’s not actual morality. It’s just trying to pander to as big an audience as possible. Diverse characters are just twodimensional cardboard cutouts who don’t feel like actual human beings. Rather than actual characters. Nobody is really benefitting from this. LGBTQ doesn’t get proper representation. All audience members just get bad, unimaginative characters. And phobes are given fuel to the fire as to why there supposedly shouldn’t be LGBTQ characters. I really hate Disney for this. I still get pissed when I think about what they did to the Force Awakens and Black Panther posters in China. For those who don’t know, they shrunk down Finn (played by black actor John Boyega) and they added a mask on Chadwick Boseman’s face to cover it. Disgusting. I simply want good characters. Extra diversity and representation would be great, though that doesn’t mean I can’t relate to characters from different demographics. Still though, it’s crucial for LGBTQ+ characters to be promoted to actual characters instead of cameos that are only meant to pander. I’m a straight, white guy. But characters of that demographic are not the only ones that stick with me. And, well… on the topic of more representation. I’m autistic. Where’s proper autism representation in the narrative media? I feel like we’ve only been given a few type of autistic characters. Characters with high support needs, Awkward science/tech geniuses, super flowery and quirky girl and… that’s probably it for the most part. Not much nuance, is there? I’m not really like any of these at all. I love writing and being artistic, poetic, etcetera. I am intelligent, but no genius who’s going to invent the next big thing to propel humanity forward. I can be quirky around people I trust, but I mask a lot. I’m probably just really neutral with my expressions and I’ll probably seem uninterested in what’s going on around me. Where are the stories that are going to spread topics like autistic burnout, masking, autistic inertia, internalised ableism, imposter syndrome, having an eye for detail but missing the obvious, special interests, not feeling like we belong in the world… all that? I have rarely seen much nuance in autistic characters and that’s a damn shame. It’s going to keep certain stereotypes intact. That we’re all emotionless, sexless robots. That we’re all either geniuses or severely disabled. Both our massive life issues and our (perhaps) hidden, underappreciated strengths are just not represented that much… or that well.

Let's be real the trans episode of Moon Girl was not handled with "grace" it is completely one sided, and frames the coaches concerns as completely insane, and comically evil. It doesn't actually present any real world concerns a person might have on either side regarding this very complicated issue. It's just pandering to a trans/progressive audience. In REALITY the discussion is much bigger than, "Karen is evil and mean". But I still agree that Disney should have aired the episode if that's the perspective they align with, but they didn't, I wonder why.. such a mystery.

I hope the animation guild goes on strike to make lgbtq themes more recognizable and ban that trump is doing bad stuff
