no stalling issues?
Thanks. But what about the manual 🤚service reset without using OBD?
lubricating the oil filter isn't to improve the seal, its to prevent gasket damage when mounting it dry.
Beautiful motorcycle,I love the Ducati's sound!Thank you the video, have a nice day!
Is this one with the removable db killer or the one that is not removable (that comes with a certificate)? Also how much did you pay for it? I’m deciding between AR and Arrow.
Hi there mate I’m in the uk I’ve just bought one 2020 year thanks for your great videos
Hi is it possible to remove front sprocket cover without removing gear shifter? Maybe im dumb, but i didnt find the way... Thanks for answer
Hi is it sr22 or sr22v? still dont know the exactly difference... thanks for answer
I rode up to Corbin in Ormond Beach and ordered a seat for my 939. I can't wait for it to get here cuz the stock seat on this 2016 is unbearable for long rides however the riding position doesn't make my tailbone hurt like my KLR does. Slouching on this bike is not easy
I know this is an old video but wouldn't putting the bike on a center stand like a pit bull stand have the same effect as leaving it on the side stand? The weight of the bike is still on the wheel rather than being on the tire it's on the axle. Plus it makes for improved visibility on the chain adjustment.
Perfect. Dont know why, but google says 3.4 L, my hyper takes 2.8 L. Yours 3 q👍
Hi mate, what is the sensor for under your clutch lever?
How can I charge my phone on the bike???
Not sure what you mean by change your phone
Hi, I am about to purchase sp 2023 edition. I am a big guy and wondering how is the comfort on this bike with the seats? For around 400-500km ride how’s the ride comfort going to be? I like the looks of it.. awesome bike. 😊Please advise…
I never had a problem, riding, long distances, and I’m 5 foot eight. I guess it really depends on how tall you are, whether you feel cramped or not on the bike.
The Quad Lock mount that you tested at 02:45 isn't the picture of the mount for a bicycle ?
The one I used was specifically for motorcycle mounting
How does it do in the rain?
I only got stuck in the rain once by accident. It handled well because of how heavy it is.
wow what a gripe session , my only complaint is my wife that is 5'3 tall wants to ride it all the time and makes me ride the multistrada get platform shoes mate and as for gauge, they are never accurate
I need to bring out my disco shoes again. At 5’3, I don’t understand how your wife is able to stop without jumping off the bike?
Full OCD oil change.
Can we even tell if this dude knows how to ride? Just another old man with an expensive bike sitting in his driveway.
i’m considering buying a 950 Hyper Standard to have a cheaper form of transportation and to have fun while doing so, been riding my 690 Enduro with SM wheels/tires and it suckssss on the freeways. How is the Hyper on highways? Ive heard serious wind issues whats your take?
To be honest, coming from dirt bikes I am used to the wind. I have ridden high speeds on the highway and never really thought about it. If you come from riding bikes with a front wind shield, it may bother you. Since I never had one, it was never a problem.
@@myhypermotard8351 yeah thats my conclusion so far, you can get a windscreen for these if it becomes an issue. Hows the bike on long rides though? Still fun just going around town as well?
@@YuccaBorealis My commute is an hour each way on highway, not bad at all. Longest ride was an all day ride. My butt felt it more than the wind being a bother.
Its a tall bike... now that weve dressed the elephant in the room. You put the left down flat footed, right foot is on foot peg and its in gear... That folks is how you ride....
That is what I do.
Hi what’s the top speed on these? Can’t find a good video of anyone doing top speed runs, thanks
170mph
You don't ride a motorcycle with both your feet on the ground. It just takes a little practice.
Hi sir thinking of buying same bike as yours is it a hard ride with the olins suspension trying to decide on a stock bike r sp thanks
Many that have bought the non SP, end up spending lots of money to make it more like the SP. I was like you, and good thing I decided to get the SP version, so much better.
In my top 5 this bike
Good video man. But tbh 950 hyper isn’t meant to be for beginner. They look like dirtbike, it really isn’t. It works well on tracks. And guys shorter than you can rip those things like a monster.. also, not sure how it works there but some ducati service work.. you’ll find it horrendous. Ducati costs more buying and servicing than the Japanese bikes. Those kind of things should’ve been thought through when you get them. Changing mode difficulty- if that is hard to find? Bro.. Anyway not trying to disrespect but the cons you put out are mostly hard to agree. Fuel gauge - definitely could’ve added in I agree.
Size of the tools for both drain bolts?
Quantity of oil 3.4 with filter and 3.2 without filter also grade 15w50?
My hyper 22 rve 2.9 L.
That bike is a weapon. Great choice
No new content?
Hey Tito, unfortunately, I sold the bike. I ended up getting a job transfer and couldn’t really take the bike to work anymore. I ended up getting a Tesla, and I thought I would ride the bike more often, but unfortunately, I didn’t ride it enough. Just no time to ride. So I ended up selling it. I do miss the hell out of it though.
@@myhypermotard8351 damn whst a shame.
Thanks a ton for all your time and information.
You do not want to tell us the top speed you are doing with this bike while your wife is filming huh ? ;P
It’s actually my daughter recording but yeah, too fast to talk about.
@@myhypermotard8351 haha close enough, that immediately made you sound like a good father even though I know nothing about you =)
What's the drain bolt type/size tool fitting?
I believe it is 12mm drain plug
Love your videos, really helpful. Seems like its been a while since you last posted.. Are you still riding the 950 and enjoying it? Cheers from Norway :)
Due to a job transfer, I wasn’t using it to go to work since I got a Tesla. It was sitting in the garage with no time to ride, so I sold it.
I wear this shirt for the banter.
What length screws did you use to fasten the bracket to the underside of the bike?
Sorry, I don’t remember the length but I got them at Lowe’s.
Just make sure they aren’t to long as to hit the battery
Awesome
If money is not an issue, would you recommend this as a beginner bike for a 6’-1” driver?
It is too much bike for a beginner, way to much torque. Start with something much less aggressive, if not you will pay the price, be careful.
Enjoyed your videos. Do you still have the bike? Hope all is well
Thank you. I actually ended up selling the bike due to my job transfer. I just was not ridding much, no time.
Great video, very helpful 👍
It's nothing to do with the screen/display. The lack of a fuel gauge is due to the size and shape of the tank and getting a sensor in there in order to provide an accurate reading.
Awesome work
you are right .. the warning lights!!! my local dealer won't turn it off unless i pay for a full service.. wrong
I’m thinking of buying one of these,I’m 5 ft 9 in height,is the sp higher than the standard model ? Wondering if I can get my feet on the tarmac
SP is a little taller. You should be ok at 5ft 9.
Are the wires on your turn signals exposed somewhere? Mine stick out of the plastic cover and I don't see a way to keep that from happening.
Mine are not exposed, not sure why yours are. Go over it again and tuck them in and zip tie them.
@@myhypermotard8351 I don’t see a way to route them without them being smashed or sticking out someway. Did you drill or cut anything to tuck them in?
@@theperipateticgumshoe9047 No holes drilled. Everything was tucked in, no wires exposed. Try to run the wires differently to see if that helps. Honestly, not sure why you have exposed wires. You can contact them to ask what they suggest, they are very helpful.
@@myhypermotard8351 Thanks for the help. I did send them an email and they told me there is no way to completely tuck them in without cutting or drilling, ha. Oh well, I guess I'll just have some sticking out a bit.
I know this is an older video but I really like the way you have your plate mounted with the light and your turn signals. Do you have an install video for any of that or at least where are you made your purchases?
Good to see. I’m 5’8 but with short legs. I’d love the SP but I’m leaning towards the standard model (or the RVE). I also think maybe the Ohlins would be overkill for me/a bit harsh on the street.
Hey man, love the videos! Quick question, I just took in my hypermotard 821 for an annual service. I recently put on a competition Werks slip on exhaust and I went for a ride. When I got back the oil light was on and I leaned the bike and couldn’t see any oil in the gas eye. Do you have any suggestions on what it could be? Is it from maybe the slip on?
Is the drain plug still there? Maybe they didn’t tighten it correctly. The slip on should have nothing to do with missing oil.
You took out that drain plug and then said 10 seconds later that you’re not gonna mess with it. Huh???
There are two plugs
this plate placement in my country means Jail
