Nice, I had the same issue with my 2020 950sp within 2 weeks of riding with it I couldn't stand seeing those marks on a brand new bike....i tried so many cleaning products too. So when I did the first 1000km service I bit the bullet and did a clear clutch case, no regrets looks unreal now!
Yeah, those scuff marks started showing up quick. Good thing for accessories like these we are able to keep the bikes looking good. Thanks for the comment.
The clear clutch cover is good. I have it on my Scrambler 3 years ago since I bought the Scrambler. The clear clutch cover was one of the main reason I went for that bike. It looks so good. I just don't like the way the clear cover deteriorates over the time with all the tiny cracks around the borders. So I went with that Ducabike clutch cover for my Hypermotard 950. If I can spare 800 bucks for the clear clutch cover, I would rather get an engine cover clutch side from the Monster 1200 R. It looks identical to our engine cover on the 950, except it's matte black. And certainly your boots won't be able scratch those !
@@Ikkiir I have noticed on other bikes that with time that the clear covers begin to develop scratches. I think that would bother the heck out of me especially for the price it costs. This is another reason I just decided to go with the cover guard, it is well made and should not show signs of scuffing anytime soon. Thank you for commenting.
A clutch cover for my Hypermotard was shipped yesterday and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. I haven't been able to locate a manual with torque values. Did you hand-tighten or torque the bolts? Thanks!

Not really interested in that, I have no use for it, plus it will void my service plan that I have. It is also loud as it is. With the decat it would be annoying as heck on my commute. Thanks for commenting, ride safe.
Really nice bike man, i love that exhaust ! I have a question the red circle on your marchesini rims (i dont know how its called in english), can you tell me the width in mm please ? I am looking to buy some for my hyper but i am hesitating betwen 5, 6, 7 mm. Thanks

Have you ridden long ? Street or dirt bike ? The problem is not when you are moving, it is when you come to a stop. I have seen guy's smaller than you move their butt way off the seat and still be able to reach. I think it really comes down to how used to doing this you are. Some years ago, I used to ride dirt bikes with a guy about your size and he managed to ride comfortably like that on a 450. The best thing to do is to go to a dealer a sit and test ride one if you can. The standard model not the sp is a bit smaller in height and also a great bike. Hope this helps, let me know if I can answer something else for you. Thank you for commenting.
For some , probably true. For me, I am meticulous about things I own, I always have been. So those scuff marks would bother the heck out of may as time went on. Thanks for the comment.
Fuckin A. I literally tried everything to remove those marks just like you did. My Dainese boots scratched the shit out of that part on my brand new 2020 SP. I wish I saw this video sooner lol. Great job! I’m thinking of getting the Ducabike clear cover because it bothers the shit out of me 😢.
looks great. an elegant solution.
Thank you. So far, absolutely no scuffs that I can see on it.

You did use the small spacers on the back correct...Seems like it sticks out far.

Not sure what your are referring too?? I think you mean the pinstripes.
I will measure it and get back to you later.
