@@myhypermotard8351 So after your video I bought the SP Connect. I'm still very happy with it and that's not gonna change. I really miss more videos of you! Are you going to record anything anytime soon? Kind regards from the Netherlands.
@@DK-lc9uq Thank you for the that. As for the video’s, i have been really busy with work and life and just don’t have the time for the editing, it’s very time consuming. If I have time, I may continue to make some.
Love your videos, really helpful. Seems like its been a while since you last posted.. Are you still riding the 950 and enjoying it? Cheers from Norway :)
I see they now make a Quad Lock 'Pro' in metal. Those tongue bits now come in a range of fashion colours too, nice red one for us on Dukes. They have an anti vibration thing (supposed to stop the delicate cameras in later phones from committing suicide?) too. Go add up the $$$ though, it's a pretty expensive way to attach a phone to a motorcycle. Thanks for the reviews.
Big problem with SP connect and the iPhone 11/xxx. The stabilizer on the camera will vibrate to a point that makes the camera inoperable. That’s why I went with the Quad Lock and “stabilizer” unit. It works. Just a word to those that may be considering and have the 3 camera iPhones.
I don’t use my phone to record, I mostly use it for navigation. As for the Quad Lock, it was pretty shaky, definitely no comparison to the SP connect. Strange that you got vibration with it? If the Quad Lock works for you, that’s great . Thank your for commenting.
@@myhypermotard8351 It’s not the fact that the camera or video is in use. The vibrations directly cause the stabilizer to break inside the phone. Look it up. More 3 camera iPhones have broken due to rigid mounting on bikes than anything else. Like I said, I’m speaking from experience.
@@MOONDOGNEWYORK Thank you for that info. I have been doing this for a while now and have never experienced this? I guess it’s a good thing I have insurance on my phone, hopefully that doesn’t happen. Interesting though, I know so many people that do this and have been for many years without any issues?
@@MOONDOGNEWYORK My bike is much smoother than some of the guys I know. Some of these guys are wheeling constantly and ride a whole lot more aggressive than I do. They all mount the phones on bars.
Which mount style did you go with? I see on the sp connect website they have some for the mirror mount, brake mount, stem mount etc. I see they have a ducati one but they don't have it for a note 20 ultra. I just got a new hypermotard sp and need a good mount. I was looking at the sp mount but need to know the one to buy. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks for asking, yes , everything is fine. I have become very busy at work and have very little time to be editing videos which takes long. I work in a hospital and it has been busier than ever. If you have questions, please ask.

@@myhypermotard8351 OK - so two questions: Have you had any issue with your bike stalling at say shifting from 2nd to 1st? I experienced it a lot while returning from a ride last weekend. I alway fuel up at the same filling stations. Somebody up at Alice's restaurant mentioned that some Ducati owners claim it's an ethanol issue. I searched last night and found a map where you can find gas stations that have ethanol-free gas, and it turns out that the Shell near my house contains ethanol, while the other two stations within the my ride radius don't sell gas with ethanol. I made an appointment with my local Ducati for a checkup, but they can't see me until the 17th of November, so I'm figure/eliminate possible causes. Question #2 is something that is bugging me, and it's: How do I shift between Urban - Touring - Sport? I have read and re-read the manual; followed the steps, but I've only managed it once. I don't the default reset, but I must be doing something incorrectly. Does the bike have to be in motion to transition from one setting to the other?
@@Ramon51650 As far as the stalling , it’s happened a couple of times but mostly due to me not holding the clutch in enough., it’s very sensitive. In my case that’s all it was. I did read some people having big issues with this. I talked about it on one of my Q & A videos. Question 2- If you push in the button that selects options straight in, it gives you the choice to change riding modes. You can be moving while changing it. The manual says nothing about it. Let me know if this helps.
You really helped me out here bro, with finding a good durable phone mount. I like everyone of your video's. Thank you for that.
Nice to hear that it worked out.

Due to a job transfer, I wasn’t using it to go to work since I got a Tesla. It was sitting in the garage with no time to ride, so I sold it.

@@myhypermotard8351 Says it all 👍
Can you make a video of all the extra parts you have added?
An put the link to them in the description
Please and thank you
The Quad Lock mount that you tested at 02:45 isn't the picture of the mount for a bicycle ?
The one I used was specifically for motorcycle mounting
Can you make a video how to have that phone charging cord on the Hyper?
It is very easy, but yes , I can make one.
Thanks for commenting.

It’s the SP Connect for an iPhone 10. You should call them to see which is the one for your phone.
Where did you buy your Austin Exhaust from
I got them through the Austin website.
