I live in Derby and had no idea we had a videogame museum 😂

I own an Analogue Pocket and its easily the Best Retro Console I own, and I own a bunch of them. The main reason for that is the FPGA Tech behind it but also the quality of the product and screen. FPGA Technology allows for near perfect emulation without the glitches and delayed timing associated with regular software emulation. The Analogue Pocket can Play Arcade games, pretty much anything from the 2D 16-Bit era and everything older nearly perfectly. For people who actually played those games, the best part is the perfect timing of the Game Play and sounds.

I had that same TV with the same Dreamcast and Mega Drive II (plus N64) in the 90s.

I prefer the old set-up, I always found your old room very beautiful and apparently cozy and it is also my inspiration to do something like this for myself here in Brazil with an arcade machine

I finally bought an Analogue Pocket because I've had poor luck with Gameboys, I have a couple DMGs with backlights, a GBC and a GBA. I screwed up a front-light installation on the GBA and none of the others will read any of the three flashcarts I have. It's a bit expensive but cheaper than all that stuff I've already bought.

My favourite console of all time, I got a boxed and unboxed thick PS2 and they both didn’t work properly :( So I had to settle for a slim because I just wanted a working unit at that point. Can’t wait to dive into game collecting for it and finding out obscure games if I come across them. Modern gen gaming just doesn’t hit the same. Great video!

Great video. I love both my original Gameboys as well as my Analogue Pocket. It‘s great to pick whatever I‘m in the mood for to play my cartridges on or to play ROMs of unobtainable games like Shantae. BTW, I got into cartridges AFTER buying an Analogue Pocket😆

loved this video! only just realised it was made 3 years back haha. can you tell me how is your sega megadrive collection right now? how many games have you managed to get? i believe the entire UK realised sega games are something like 560 games in total, but some of them will be so difficult to find and sooo expensive!

amazing video! i am 35 years old from the UK, growing up sega was my childhood memories, i am wanting to buy a megadrive again for nostalgia purposes, do you have any advice where i can get started? i wouldnt even know where to buy a megadrive these days, or roughly how much one should cost? and where is the best place to buy the games etc.. i want games like golden axe, marble madness, sonic, micro machines

Quite happy with my FPGBC. The price is competitive even compared to used gameboys in good condition, and the screen looks pretty good. I mean, until the SP came out, we all wanted a gameboy with a backlight and a modern display, and that's just what it is nothing more, nothing less.

Love seeing Gamer Girls. Video games get such a bad rap from most females. Any advice about connecting a PS2 to a modern UHD TV that doesn't have composite/component input jacks?

A word of warning from somebody who's owned a Dreamcast from day one- they are not built to last. Learn how to repair them or find a place that can. Fantastic fighting game library though and Skies of Arcadia!

My first Sega Mega Drive game was Sonic the Hedgehog AKA Sonic 1. Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 are my favorite Sega Mega Drive games, but if I had to pick between Sonic 1 and Sonic 2, I'd pick Sonic 1. I also love Mega Bomberman. :)

TH-cam recommended this video, so I checked it out. The shelves turned out really nice and you have an impressive collection. The little set up with your TVs, where you guys were playing on the floor was cute.

The Dreamcast is less powerful than the PS2 and games on both look objectively worse on the former.

Love my ps2 been playing simpsons hit & run, the punisher, 50 cent bulletproof, scarface, and the silent hill collection and many more other games also recently got a ps3 again because there so many titles to play on there as well👍 def recommend getting a ps2 in 2024

giving the space i am working with at my house, i usually just collect the games i actually like, i collect ATLUS games besides that and tbh only the old games, like from the 90s and 2000s atlus games, i need to do that or else i will never stop lmao

The expo looked quite fun. I’d prefer going to smaller events such as this. Hopefully smaller translates to less crowded (though I’d want the event to do well so that’s kind of selfish thinking!) I was going to go to this, but I got ill 😐. My friend ran the Mobile Games Exchange (MGX) store there. If you do ever visit Derby, I highly recommend popping in. It's a great little shop. Spiderman on Megadrive is a great game, my cousin & I used to spend hours playing that. Congratulations on the engagement too 😃

I've been looking for a 500M PS4, but sadly they are ultra rare and ultra expensive!
