    La MACHINE looks nice! But? Most of us do not have a machine shop out in the shed. And why bushings instead of bearings? why oil instead of grease? why paint it after you put it together not while it was in parts?

    • @KOPOprojects
      @KOPOprojects 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you ! But bushing resister better impact and vibration, oil will leak out and bring dust with it as the opposite, grease will stay there and keep all the dirt inside the sliding parts. And for painting, if you paint it first, the welding will burn arround the joint so you're better to paint them at the end.

    How can I manipulate the impact force? With the radius of the wheel?

    • @KOPOprojects
      @KOPOprojects หลายเดือนก่อน

      Basically, the faster you make the wheel spin the harder the centrifugial force and the lower the ram goes and hit your material. When you spin less fast, the spring bring the ram closer to the center and hit les hard. You can make the speed of the wheel varry with the friction clutch and the tire assembly.

    Nice design and I like that it's still usable as a portaband. My one objection would be the outlets orientation. Metal shavings falling into a powered outlet seems like asking for trouble.

    Hey dude - great vid, thanks. I'm a mechanical engineer, trained in welding. Welding emits full-spectrum UV radiation, including the highly carcinogenic UV-C, which is basically blocked by the atmosphere, when the sun emits it. It's very dangerous, long-term, to weld without covering your exposed skin. Melanoma, BCC and SCC are not fun diseases to acquire. Just a piece of gentle advice, for your future long-term health. Also, if you tack in the corners of square tube and flat bar joints, it makes the finished beads smoother (because you don't have to weld over the tacks).
