Everquest Lore: Drachnid
Hello my fellow Norrathians! It has been a minute hasn't it? The Drachnid's have always been an interesting monster to me, but it was the circumstances around their creation that really had me wanting to give them a video. I recorded the audio for this video before I moved so its a relief to finally get it done. I was disappointed that the emulator I use didn't have a copy of the original Lavastorm Mountains zone, ah well.
I'd like to thank everyone that has been patiently waiting for these, I'll be trying to get back to my old upload schedule. Next up is the ever elusive Band of Hero's and lemme tell ya, their backstories were not easy to find.

i love these videos, i've been playing since 2000 and never heard any of these stories.
I once got a player suspended in the hole. It was on cornaiv TLP. 6 mage boxer who was trying to take every single camp he could, his plan was to train the camps until people left but i took ample screenshots of all the tells he sent me and everytime he trainrd my group. Daybreak came through with a response email telling me he was suspended it was an awesome memory

In your video about the Reanimated hands you determined they were the severed hands of giants still able to wield magic. In that same video it was mentioned that Prexus plucked the eye of each seafaring giant. Possible they were reanimated in a similar way as the hands?

Assuming you aren't against moving past Velious, might ya talk about Luclin a bit at some point? Forexample. What's the deal with Seru? I know he's allegedly an inquisitor of some sort, but don't know what of. What does my mans believe in? What about the Vah Shir? I thought they were against writing stuff down on paper, but then they got libraries? I might remember that one wrong, but I feel like I remember them being averse to writing stuff down for some reason

The Prestige Quest for the Dwarven Work Boots is given by a descendant of Garanel. The quest giver is called Hwal Rucksif. I believe the ghost of his ancestor you put to rest in that timeline is Garanel. Pretty wild throwback.
