I do enjoy and learn from your channel. I appreciate your analysis from your TH-cam income. Hopefully, it will help those starting a channel. I believe creating a TH-cam channel may be beneficial to some. However, some people do not see all the "costs" of creating videos. As you mentioned, you have to come up with a subject, then you must think of how to create the video. Do you need to purchase products? How would you use them? Will you need to write a script? Of course, any TH-camr must purchase a good camera, good lighting, and make sure you have a good clean area to film from, ... I have found that channels must produce a video at least once a week to hold interest. I believe it is difficult and frustrating to come up with weekly ideas. I suspect you have a science background. Your videos are wonderfully logical, with scientific fact. Now, please forgive me. I do not mean to be insulting. But you yourself said that you are a stay a home wife and mother. You have the privilege on not relying on your TH-cam income. Not many TH-camrs have an income like the BEAST or others. It took you a couple of years to get where you are now. And believe me, I think you offer quality videos. They are much better than the "reviews" that show how much one "likes" the product. You show scientific proof. (On a side note, I consider your channel similar to Consumer Reports.) ANYWAY, the point I was trying to make is that I wonder how many people can make a living through TH-cam. Yes, the beginning camera, ... What about the TIME you put in to create the videos? Does anyone actually keep track of the number of hours spent? If you are at home, you can say it does not matter. For others, perhaps a 40-hour job that gives decent benefits would be a better option. Again, you have a husband who works and hopefully has health insurance. Otherwise, be sure TH-cam will cover. Of course, we cannot forget INCOME taxes. Please tell me TH-cam withholds taxes. 🙂 I apologize for such a long comment. I honestly do not care if anyone reads. I know you will. 🙂because you always reply to my comments. but seriously, no need. I am a retired CPA. Analyzing money is my life. Again, I wish you the best.

I’d never use Lysol or any new product on the market wth for when I’m alive and healthy I’m a fkn evolution right alongside bacteria. WHY WOULD I BUY SHITE NOW I DON’T NEED WHEN IT’S NEVER BEEN NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE AS PER MY OBVIOUS POSITION IN SPACE 🙄 I don’t fk with what isn’t broke. Is pollen in honey good or bad?

I use a honey called Really Raw Honey, out of the East Coast. Claims to have pollen and the cappings which is the resin and pollen and other things. It is funky smelling upon first opening but the flavor is divine. Best honey I ever ate.

Exactly why local honey is so good for those with allergies. It matches up with the environment you’re in.

So glad you’re channel is growing! For your next video could you please do it on non toxic cleaners? I’m trying to convert to a non toxic household and don’t want to skip the importance of cleaning with products that don’t work.

I do not own an oven, so this appliance gets used, used, used! I clean the pans and trays and such but the inside is just impossible. I know several people with the same or similar and they cant figure it out either, anything remotely abrasive takes the coating off. My mom wraps the crumb tray in aluminum foil so it stays clean. But everything else? Not a chance. Considering boiling some water in it to steam it, letting it cool enough to touch, then coating with softscrub and using a scrubdaddy. Has anyone tried that?

I wonder if the results would be different if you poured the vinegar inside the machine with the laundry. My machine doesn’t have compartments so I add the vinegar inside of the machine with the laundry.

Had mine just over a year then it broke. Loved and hated it. Don't use oven cleaner as it takes whatever the coating is off. I call it the impossible to clean oven. Never again.

Do you have a video on carpet cleaners? I’m curious if AFM Safechoice carpet shampoo, Hypochlorous acid, or just simply using a steam mop could be effective. Of course it would have to be dried quick to prevent mold.

I don't mean to be critical as you are doing a great service, but how these products are applied is critical in their effectiveness. For example the Clorox toilet bowl cleaner with bleach is shaped to allow you to apply it directly under the rim of the bowl. You're not supposed to "pour it out" and then try to apply it. Similar for the white vinegar. As others have mentioned, the vinegar will work but not with baking soda. Baking soda neutralizes acid, and it's the acid in the vinegar that kills the bacteria. Then for it to be effective, it must hit the surface un-diluted. So it must be sprayed or brushed directly onto the surface. As soon as you mix the vinegar with the toilet bowl water, it ruins the effectiveness.

That looks to be PDA media, you can use a selective/differential media such as MSA with phenol red indicator to delineate between micrococcus and staphylococcus (excluding S. epidermidis). Staphylococcus will turn the media yellow, whilst micrococcus will not.

I'm not at all surprised. Well, I'm a little surprised that the B and A tests were not more similar, but I suppose the the dirt and bacteria were flushed away in the wash cycle. I started reading about microbes in the soil about 25 years ago and got fairly competent rather quickly. As far a microbes are concerned, for a large part of the microbe community, vinegar is just another source of carbohydrate food. Some microbes thrive on it even with the extremely low pH. I don't know where the idea that it was a sanitizer came from, but the idea is very wide spread and persistent.

I agree about the fragrance of Fabuloso. Living in San Antonio, it seems every restaurant uses it. How do you clean your toilet bowl brushes? For glass cleaners, I don't care about bacteria, because I don't lick my windows. I use Dollar Tree window cleaner in a can coupled with a 6-inch squeegee from Amazon. The only wiping is to mop up drips and dry the squeegee. Spray on and squege off right away. Super easy. I did not see 409 (degreaser) on your list. If you test degreasers, it would be interesting to see Super Clean (garage degreaser) tested full strength and diluted. I buy 409 because I like the bottle design and then refill with Super Clean when the 409 is gone.
