I'm someone who has read the event in its entirety. :) Sterio has indeed lived for at least 15 years and given his massive build it can be inferred that he has already developed into adulthood by the standards of his alien race. However, he was raised together with his brother Canes, who is a teenager, since they were infants, so aside from their personalities they are mentally very much the same and have the same life experiences.
