Hi guys! Could someone share which aftermarket seats this car has?

I feel sorry for my cousins across the pond here in uk I bought mine last year with 103k miles full service history nothing wrong with it for £1500 the market in America is crazy overpriced

My car with the cat converter problem did 360k kilometers before the oil consumption became too much, not bad for a bad engine. I'm getting another engine and adding a turbo, what a great driving machine.

I had a Stillen Gen 3 intake a Fast Intentions x-pipe dual exhaust and an EcuTek dyno tune done at Specialty Z in Simi Valley, CA. We got a peak rwhp of 321.1@ 7200 rpm and a uniform 15% increase in torque across the whole rev range. I wanted to install high flow cats but I live in California and I wouldn't pass smog when I need to get it smoggged in 2027.

I know this video is old, but for others, remove the door panel and there is 2 adjustable bolts to adjust the windows up and down.

Her in Europe you have corners , do not need more powet . Wrong input for this type of car.

I test drove a few DCT 135i's and found a HUGE difference between the "M Power/M Performance" model vs without. If you don't have a "SPORT" button as well as the "SPORT" transmission mode, you aren't experiencing a true 135i. Put a "M" 135i in "Sport/Sport" and I don't think an M3 of the same year will beat it at anything.

I have had both 135i and M3 and with a little work the 135i is a better car for me....I modified my 135i to roughly 430hp at 5500....and with the weight far lighter it was much more fun to drive..

in past i had a Silvia and driven Alfa Romeo GTV-spider : surprised for his very good handling(multilinks at rear suspensions)

I'm a bit late but the cloth seats have a lot more bolstering than the leather seats. So without that option you probably wouldn't have had to swap those out.

I have the postface lift version and it looks way better and doesn't have the precat problems

I agree about all but the seats. I think the stock seats are much better than other similar cars. Of course the lack of CC was the 1st thing I noticed, picking up my 02 in Va and driving back to NJ. Leaving my window down in the rain resulted in separation of plastic material on door panel. Lack of storage obviously a big one, having both an 87 and 93 cars.

I love the driving experience/handling and that it's not an MX-5 Miata which are far too common.

Question: I just bought an MR2 and on the dash it has a soft top button... on or off. What is it supposed to do? I press and nothing happens. I put the top up and down manually. Just wondered what button is for... Thanks, Mark

My engine and catalytic converter failed at 35000 miles and computer chip fried after 1.5 years. Got covered by warranty. Free. But...but...I did race it pushed it to the limit etc. Every day! So yes a good car. Not expensive to own.

I wiped the inside of the exhaust and my finger was powder coated black. Didn't care, wanted the MR2, gave him the check. LOL. It's my problem now but I do indeed intend to swap out the 2ZZ + 6MT when possible. Can't afford a Lotus and this thing is even more of a desirable classic IMO.

Wow best mod you could do for the money on these cars seriously, it’s night and day going from rubber band shifter to sturdy solid shifting. I used a tiny screwdriver to remove the screws rather than pulling out the seats.
