That guitar fakery is really bad. The tonality is even wrong, those leads are being played through humbuckers. Nevermind the fact that his hands are out of sync.

As a guitarist I have a bigger issue with his fretting hand. That’s what really gives the faking away as far as I’m concerned.

Awesome channel. I love how you tell the truth. The truth needs to be told. Your channel will grow. You are not out to destroy anyone but exposing their deceit helps every one. These frauds should be exposed. Keep up the good work!

I have been playing guitar for 20 years. That guitar solo for Ken is 99% pre-recorded. Such a pattern would not be played with such a wide picking, and the last note does not go with what he is doing there at all

I'm suprised as loaded as Ken is that he's pretending to play a lowly Fender Squire instead of a vintage American Stratocaster.

This Ken guy is a dumb meathead. He's got an ego the size of Manhattan but doesnt deserve one ounce of the fame he claims to have. Nobody knew who this guy was before he got busted for lip-syncing which should tell you a lot. It took his own lame fakeness to get noticed, laughable. Claiming he was going to be the lead singer for these iconic bands is more lies. This guy isnt qualified to be the lead singer for a group of punks practicing armpit farts in a bathroom.

I think Ken is so full of himself that none of this will even register. He won't even honestly accept that he is misrepresenting his course, his promises, his own ability. The fact is, MTV music videos were never "live" or "real" performances. Everyone knew this. Ken took it too far, but the actual sin here isn't much of one. The only real sin is that he can't be humble and accept the fact that he has been lazy and faking it. One thing most of us should acknowledge. Ken is or was a very talented singer. He did sing his parts at one time. Did he play all his guitar parts? Is he that great? Hard to say. Kiss has albums claiming Peter Criss and Ace Frehley were playing it, but in fact it was studio musicians. That's a bait and switch also. Ken is from a generation of the music industry that is dead or dying. The last of that breed. You can't hide nowadays. Ken is exposed. I see it almost like comedy that video of him playing and singing and making all those statements in the description.

How have I never seen this guy before?! That video you showed of KT is so unbelievably awful. He isn’t singing or playing and it’s obvious. This is pure cringe and pathetic on his part. He’s delusional or stupid. Either way, it’s alarming and sad.

Having sung and played guitar for 40+ yrs, it is obvious that he is not playing the guitar or singing live. It is like watching a movie with overdubbed dialogue. Anyone with any experience would recognize this. Couldn’t be more obvious.

The thing is, Ken claims to be a Christian, and the arrogance and lying are a terrible testimony to the unbelieving world, as well as to fellow Christians. God promises to expose our sin, and I pray Ken humbles himself, repents, & confesses. God can restore sinners. PS: I love Puddles. Met him on Postmodern Jukebox.

I don't care whatever the genre is, you need soul to make it as a singer. And an actually distinctive voice too surely? I don't think it's just his song quality (the Rolling Stones lol) - it's actually his once technically-excellent but tbh pretty-cliched actual *voice* that's probably held him back to the point where he needs to go this far to (still) make the big bucks in life. (Though you've got to wonder how much goes to his lawyers.) I've been thinking about his technique too, I think he probably always used a lot of muscle to sing - probably just one of a number of ways that naturally-able singers can do it - and at his age he just doesn't have the control over his neck worms the way he used to.

I was wondering why would anyone want to build an audience commenting on other people's work. Even if they are the worst ones. I know a few things about these people and this whole controversy. But the most humiliating thing is a singer getting old with no achievements of his own for so long. With all respect, if I were you, I would be depressed that my popular videos are not of my own work, but the ones commenting on other people. It is almost pathetic, I'm sorry for saying so man. But someone has to. I really used to like you, until my buddies showed me these videos. I felt I caught up myself among teen TH-camrs and TikTokers commenting on each other, praised by an audience that only cares about controversies, instead of the serious musical output. You are an old person man and this doesn't honor you.

Ken is either a genius or got lucky, or maybe he and Wings of Pegasus are in this together racking up attention and clicks, that = money on TH-cam, because look at all these people now talking about Ken, it is EVERYWHERE!! and just because it's negative, it can still produce positive results for him....Dude is slick and knows what he's doing, He's playing all of these people like a fiddle ( could be lip syncing the fiddle but who cares ) and laughing all the way to the internet click bank. People buy snake oil in droves, but can't unless they know where to get it, with all this attention, now they know where to go to buy it. The sad thing is that so many believe everything they see on youtube, tiktok or other places is 100% authentic. 50+ years of abusing my hearing with open pipe motorcycles, too loud practicing in my room and mixing in night clubs has ruined my hearing, but even through tinnitus I can hear inconsistencies in Kens studio performance. With that mic, not only would the voacls not be sharp, but I would also expect to hear noise from the pick or string rattle. BTW, great example with Puddles - he uses the mic wonderfully to change inflection and intonation.

"That's even more than the Rolling Stones" LOL!!! Jeff Buckley placed himself in the music history with just one album. So did 4 Non Blondes. 40 albums of irrelevance still sum up to irrelevance. This Ken guy is so full of crap it's hard to believe.

I absolutely adore Puddles! One of the purest voices you'll ever hear. I've had many binges, myself. The clown suit did take some getting used to, though. lol I love that you used Puddles as an example of what perfect live singing looks like. The way he works the mic is so smooth and subtle that most people wouldn't even consciously notice unless they're looking for it. Every singer should strive to reach Puddles' flawless stage presence as well as vocals. (Obviously I'm referring to his execution, not necessarily his style.) Many won't *quite* achieve it, but setting the goal will be incentive to always work on improving.

How ironic that the real clown wasn't the one wearing the make-up & pom-poms. First time I've ever seen Ken and within 30 seconds it was plainly obvious it was mimed... I've seen 1st time drag queens with better lip syncing skills than Ken! There's two dead giveaways for me... the "studio mix" sound (with those conveniently balanced harmonies that never over-step his vocal)... and repeatedly missing his cues by a fraction of a second (something I learnt from theatre pros & drag artists indicates a performer who's "chasing" the lip sync instead of matching the vocal performance). It just made the ego in his video description doubly eye-rolling. And I knew I'd seen Puddles before... I was wracking my brain until you mentioned Primus, that performance was brilliant! I'm excited to track down his 'War Pigs' cover now, I _love_ hearing more classically-trained vocalists like Puddles cover that track. 🤘😎

If Tamplin is so amazing, and so rich on royalties from his 40 albums, why is he seemingly so dependent on hawking his youtube instructionals? And is miming in quite alot of them? maybe he wore a mini-FBI clip on mic… the buttons of his shirt… 🙈🙈… to me his audio sound is too clean.. that’s the giveaway that it was prerecorded n not forgetting the way the microphone was placed… i salute an interview of Rik Emmett… the interviewer did praise his singing.. bt Rik kinda dial things down by revealing he did hv bad days where on some days he can’t perform well n how ur voice suffer if u perform more than certain hours… \m/
