I have n't put my Porphis 717 down since i bought it i'm getting some great finishes its not very comfortable in the hand but i'm getting use to it. I'm a gun geek and have many guns ie over 25 not been counting LOL . Thanks for the info you give on your channel 👍
Hi Jimmy, They are lovely tools. Mine feels good in the hand, but obviously, that's very dependent on the person using it. The PC415 is much more like the PRD715 than the PRD717, as you would expect, I guess, as it doesn't have the split tip. It's a fast gun for sure and good fun to use, when you consider how much these are to, but they are a real bargain imo, cheers mate, I appreciate it 👍
Hi Pete, I’ve been waiting for this one. I love these Porphis guns and saw your tease on the PC-415 on your other social media page. It looks like another great gun and I appreciated the unboxing. Looking forward to seeing you test it in the future. Always great content. Thanks
Hi Mate, I did this video last weekend and have been using the Porphis PC415 this last week. It's really good. It's like a PRD715 to use but with simpler controls, certainly as well made as the PRD series, which is excellent. I think people who want a PRD7 series will still want one but this gives you the build and performance for less money, so Ideal for someone that can't afford a PRD but wants a good gun, cheers mate, and thank you 👍
Hi Grant, Thanks, mate. I did this video last weekend, and since then I been using the PC415 for base and cleaes, and it's really good. I like the more simple controls, so you end up with a PRD715 quantity of gun with as good performance but save some money, plus I love the colour 😂. cheers mate 👍
Hi Pete, a very interesting and well made video again mate, the PC415 looks a very nice gun for the price as you mentioned it looks the same as the PRD guns and the quality of the finish looks superb👌 Porphis a really bringing out some quality spray guns now and wouldn't it be nice if they could grab a nice chunk of the Sata/Iwata market and force the prices down, I just hope that Porphis never jump on the bandwagon and up their prices which they could as their guns are every bit as good as the big players🤔 I keep meaning to tell you that there is a very small difference between your PRD-717 and mine, if you look where the pot screws in there is a fancy looking cut out design each side of the threaded part of the gun, mine doesn't have that so it looks the same as the PC415, I wonder why they changed it🤔🤷♂not that it effects anything with how it works but it does look nice😃 Thanks as always Pete👌👍
Hi John, Yes, I've been really impressed with this gun, very well made and excellent performance, all for $165 USD, a bargain if you asked me. I haven't noticed that it had gone. It's the Chao Tian Pneumatics logo, which is the parent company. It's cut in on the trigger at the top as well 😀. Cheers mate 👍
It certainly looks a nice gun and that colour is awesome👌if it has the same aircap and tip as the 715 then getting one of these would be a cheap way of getting a PRD715🤔 You can see it's not there from the pics of it on my channel mate but it still has the logo in the handle, maybe it's a bit cheaper to produce without the body logo and it's possible they are still have some of the handles in stock so it might disappear from the handle at some point😬have to say the logos do look nice but it still works the same☺cheers mate👍
@JohnWD40TC02 Yeah, it's ideal for someone who wants the performance of the PRD715 together with the build but doesn't want the controls on the PRD715, you know, the click adjustment and generally more complex controls. Someone said they were the same as the US Harbor Freight original Black Widow or Italco guns, quite how they get that I don't know as they don't look the same at all! , cheers, mate 👍
I think the PRD71 series is the only gun with the click adjustment, I like it and it makes you feel kinda special doesn't it😎😂 I saw the comment above here saying the PC415 is a copy I just thought "OK" and moved on🙄🤦♂and saying it's the same as the Black Widow is just💩from what I've heard the original Black Widow is that good anyway so why would Porphis want to copy that pile of💩🫣I'll probably get hated on now🥸🤣cheers Pete👍
Hi Benjamin, I shot this video last weekend, so I've since been using the PC415. It's every bit as good, in performance, and build as the PRD series. It's a simpler design, so the fluid control doesn't have the click system of the PRD715 series. It is just a simple screw and lock system, as with many guns, I guess. I really like it, I suppose the guns I would compare it to are the Sata 5000, Walcom 360 HTE or Evo and the Sagola 4600, all good fast guns. Cheers buddy, thanks for watching 👍
Will that number 9 adaptor work with the mini gun that you reviewed recently, Pete? I like the look of these guys, definitely fancy giving them a try. Thanks as always. Great content.
Hi Angus, No, the No9 PPS adapter is M16 x 1.5. The mini has an M11 x 1.5 thread, which is really unique, which makes it a pain. You are probably the 10th person to ask me about an adapter, so it really needs to be addressed. I have contacted Porphis to let them know there just isn't an adapter at the moment. Hopefully, they will get one made soon, cheers mate 👍
I inquired about the pc-412 wp version to Porphis and didn't quite understand if it was a split tip version or not from the replies. maybe its a lvlp version based on the numbering?
Hi Buddy, It's definitely not a split tip, looking at the specs I think you are correct, it's just a scaled down version as the air consumption is lower and the fluid output is less, so a bit like Iwata with there WB1 and WB2 caps,
Hi Buddy, to be honest, I haven't found a bad Porphis gun. The PHS155 is very good. It's not made, as well as the PC or PRD series buy is made very well considering it's price point. The PHS155 is proving to be a good reliable gun , cheers mate 👍
Hello. I have been following your youtube channel for a long time. Please help me find one for left-handed people made in China. The type with the paint tank on the left hand side. Thanks a lot.
Hi Harold, I can't find it either. It was on there a little while ago as 2 people told me they ordered one. I presume it's just an oversight of some kind, I have messaged them to see why as they are very good quality guns, your the second person this weekend to point that out to me 😂, cheers mate 👍
Hi Dean, I was a bit apprehensive at first with the Porphis guns. Now, 18 months on from buying the first 3 I bought, I'm convinced they are well made and reliable. I've not had a problem with any, and I've lent them out to people to try without problems. I've been using this for the past week, and I really like it. It's every bit as good as the PRD715, just a simpler fluid adjustment system, which I like, considering the price it amazing they can produce something made so well, maybe all the big boys are just overpriced? Cheers mate, hope your wife has recovered, ok 👍
Kind of crazy I switched over from all 3 Devilbiss DV1 guns to 4 Porphis guns lol. Still run that ANI Skull edition though with manometer and 3 caps. I'm wondering with the green PC-41 series what is the "WP" cap of the PC-412?
Hi buddy, As you will know, Porphis does actually make very good guns, I'm sure the big manufacturers will be noticing their presents. I'm not sure what the PC412 is like. The specs are just a little different, I suspect it's a slower, more controlled version, a bit like Iwatas WB1 and WB2 setups. I know it's not a split tip as someone who contacted me bought one thinking it was, but they are happy with it anyway

@demonico123456789, I not sure how you can say they are a copy of an Italco gun when they don't look the same? , what makes you think that I wonder?

I would like to see a demo on spray gunners no name z gun clear gun!
Hi Sam, I can't get hold of one as I'm in the UK. It's a generic copy of a W400/LPH400 type gun, but as far as I know, it doesn't have a split tip

If people say the 717 looks like a Sata5000 they haven't seen the 415 yet. 😅
