    When in Brazil, they don't like the small talk. In Poland, they miss the small talk. She doesn't like the way brazilians don't go straight to the point and even is rude enought to leave people without an answer, but hates that the australian employee is not "human" enough to "have a conversation" with her. Well, you may also stop saying "thank you" or "please" , since these things are not relevant to what the conversation is all about. The bartender just need to fix your food or drink, he doesn't need to be thanked. "We need to get to the point", right? Oh, and when a person texts you "Hey Marina", you just need to answer "Hey , Person". Easy, right? You dont even answer? Oh my god, I hope you're not all unpolite like that in eastern europe. Jesus....

If anything, those suicide statistics that were mentioned, coupled with higher rates of alcoholism are typically skewed towards the northern parts of the country, where it's much colder and darker all year round 😅

    I definitely and 100% do not consider noise pollution okay. I have placed numerous complaints with our local administration, to the point that I was so fed up I just starting cursing at them. I suspect they simply bribe the officers. The *only* thing that *might* work would be for me to start an expensive lawsuit, and even if it works, the offenders will only be replaced by another bar, another loudspeaker, another loud neighbor, etc.

    I also think Media in general is the cause of the downfall of society. I see the propaganda that the news media uses to manipulate Koreans in Korea. What Koreans get in terms of information about life in the United States, comes from an extremely propagandized media, in the News, the Movies and even in online sites ! For instance the Media demonizing a Candidate for the Presidency of the United States, and Koreans believe what they hear instead of questioning any of it as possibly not true! I find it rather insulting to think that People in the States would be so stupid as to elect an evil racist terrible man who will cause the collapse of the country? Really, why is that man so popular that he could be elected ? Does that mean that South Koreans believe that the States are so racist or stupid or even evil? I wish every South Korean could come to the states to see the truth not only about political events, but also things like what men and women are actually like IRL ! For instance when I visited relative in Korea, they seemed so worried that I was going to get shot and murdered because of the terrible statistics they are told about guns in the States. I dared not tell them that I own a gun and enjoy deer hunting and going to the shooting range for fun. The reality is that the gun violence is for the vast majority in the deep parts of the cities and between different gangs or in drug deals etc.. Living out in the country, gun violence and crime are hardly even exists, the exception to that rule is when a city person is passing through the country!

    Sounds to me like any new business who is on a budget would just have an impossible time accommodating staffing. Five weeks of vacation, short hours, in addition to paid sick time? So either the prices for everything in Finland are extravagantly high to cover these costs or. It’s almost impossible for someone to start and ramp up a new business.

    In America as an African American woman we kinda expect the men to pay without saying and most of the men are aware of this but since there is also a concern for safety, we may offer to split the bill if we fear that the man might feel entitled to sex after paying for us. Some men will try and pressure us into sleeping with them under the idea that we owe them for the food, like they paid for us or something. It can be kinda stressful.

    Asian women get an education to meet higher level men, but they are really no different. Basically it shows the girl’s family is well of as they can afford to send their daughter out of the country for education. With that said, keep in mind the girl’s family will want the guy to take care of their daughter and the expectation will be that much higher.

      @@konars5601 I didnt mension Islam at all... I meant traditional in a way that they please their man more and listen more and do as they say. Kurds and turks are more tough and go against their man more. Submission is not about religion, its about gender roles. My ex and friends is russian so I know that they are very traditional. And no kurds barely care about religion, just so you know

    • @konars5601
      @konars5601 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@roshnaguven3802I know that turks and kurds are not very religious muslims, but Islam and (post)Islamic culture influences traditionalism and submission, in arabic "Islam" literally means "submission". Turkish women may be more emotional, but in reality they are more submissive and traditional and more please and listen their men than russians who can pretend for any benefit, I lived in eastern Europe for many years and know them very well. Also russian women do much more divorces and sex tourism than turkish, so they are not traditional and not submissive. Russia is inhabited by many nations, including muslims, so "russian" can mean a russian citizen of any nation, such as an american for example.

In the end we are all just humans. And just wauw, no service, no smiles, just looking at the phone. Have this lady ever been outside Copenhagen, and is her mind still in the US. No nation is perfect, but I prefer to live in a land that takes care of the less fortunate, a society that contains a mentality that has its focus on the well-being of the entire population, and sees challenges, such as poverty, education, health care as a joint task. A nation, like the US, which exploits their working part of their population and allows a family with children to have 3 jobs without being able to earn an income from which they can create a dignified life,is a shame. Living in a small car with children is undignified, and says a lot about the political greed and general mentality. You have a lot of work to do for your own people. We, Danes have worked for generations for our democracy which we are proud of . So don't criticize what you don't understand the depht of,

    David nailed it (I'm a Dutch person who lived in the US for almost 20 years). Personally, what I miss most from NL is the depth of relationships and people interested in each other in a deeper sense, but what I like most about the US, particularly about working in the US, is the optimism and ambition. The only thing I disagree with is making friends. In the Netherlands when you take up a new sport or hobby, it's in my experience very easy to get to know people you meet there outside of that activity, whereas Americans, in my experience, even when it comes to hobbies etc are still very business like.

    I´m dutch and I say you look tired or things like that, but the follow up question would be; did you have a bad night of sleep or is there something that's bothering you or something like that. I would say it and ask about it, because if I don't say and ask about it, I would worry about that person. Maybe that person ifeels mentaly drained, something bad happend or their feeling sick and lots of times people won't say it if they are feeling not well if you don't ask about it, while they can use some support or help. so I ask it so they have the chance to talk about things that are bothering them and sometimes it just helps to talk about it or you can do something to help solve their problems. It's out of worry and empathy for that person also for me personaly it would definetly damage me when everybody is so friendly but also fake friendly. I wouldn't know who really cares about me and who just acts friendly. It would be hard for me to say it when I struggle with something, because I don't really know who really cares about that and who to trust. I think I would feel more lonely because you don't know if anyone really cares about you or if people just act friendly but don't really care
