Lighter is looking really cool, and I am getting Miyabi, but I’m gonna bat for a burnice-yanagi team, and run my Qingyi with Miyabi instead. Yanagi just looks wayyyy too cool.

I really hope they buff lighter, with his kit as is, Lycaon is better than him in ice teams and Qingyi/Caesar is better than him in every other team

still to soon to be sure if he its gonna be better than Lycaon, because right now he need more buffs.

Im super hyped the most from lighter from all the upcoming characters since he is literally K' from the king of fighters and K' is my favourite there and Lighter's gameplay and animations are chef's kiss. But I gotta be honest, Im not hype about his kit, I dont need another stunner, wanted him to be an Attacker. And even if he is a stunner, him buffing ice and fire only, gives me no benefit since I have no ice or fire attackers to be buffed, no ellen, no soldier 11 in my account. Who tf am I going to buff? Lucy? Soukaku? Lycaon? Koleda?! come on. Im also not interested in Miyabi since her design is not of my liking. They better at least release an A-rank fire or ice attacker in his banner. Or else I will just have to be non-optimal and play him as an attacker and buff the crap out of him to make it work.

Got it. So I just have to save enough polychromes to summon Lighter, Harumasa, and Miyabi back to back to back. Easy.

Theyre finally releasing a limited S rank male character and I couldnt be happier!

There is a glaring issue with lighter though, if you manage to get ceaser's W-engine, all of a sudden lighter becomes completely irrelevant as a stunner. Why? because now ceaser becomes the best stunner in any team. After all, ceaser is also a support, and a shielder, so making her a stunner means a player can layer on another support agent and do a lot more damage to make lighter's defense shred irrelevant. The only way to make lighter a comparable unit is if they also give lighter the ability to increase damage to a target like qingyi but then miyabi would also haft to be a burst dps like zhu yaun. That's why the stunner is such a skip once ceaser's W-engine is obtained. This is probably the first time where if F2P players were actually saving pulls, now would be a good time to pull for ceaser's w-engine as well as that will save 2-3 banner skips unless your account has an anomoly setup, then you might be stuck having to pull for burnice and yanagi.
