Hows it look and held up now?
I have been looking for the shift in blue. Can only find red trimmed shifter. Where did you find yours ?
Really looking for seat covers for the 24
Hopefully se good one will come out soon and
Why does this video say 2024, if that's not what he's showing? Very confusing.
Great detailed, informative video! I’ll be doing mine this next week! Thanks!
My pleasure. Thanks for the support
I’ve had two rain guards torn off by rotating car wash brushes.
Ouch!
Need to change the title of your video. Theese are not accessories for a 2024 Tacoma. Your displaying accessories for Gen 3
Good point. Thanks
What's the point of the bed mat? Is it to keep stuff from sliding around? I think I would rather slide stuff in the bed, and tie it down.
I love my bed mat. Best accessory I've added.
Maybe someone can help? I have a stock 2006 Tacoma TRD Prerunner 2WD. The shocks are bad and I will be replacing them. Do I need to replace the strut springs or can I use the old ones? Also, What shocks do you recommend for the truck" I am thinking about getting the Bilstein 4600's. If I want to raise the front level Should I use the 5100's? Also, where did you get your seat covers?
You need to pick up some seat covers too. The ones on Amazon fit like a glove.
My favorite Tacoma mod I bought off amazon is seat jackers.
Gotta love em
On Amazon it says the DrCar Seat Covers don't fit 24 tacoma TRD off-road?
In many instances mods and accessories for the 3rd Gen won't fit 2024 4th Gen Tacomas.
I have a 2011 F-150 with the 5.0 motor, and I love my Pedal Commander. I have had it over a year, and it really makes a difference. Unfortunately, out of the blue my truck would start going into limp mode. I contacted Pedal Commander and they literally responded to my e-mail that day with suggestions of things to try to trouble shoot the product. When that didn't work out, they sent instructions on how to fill out the attached warranty form which you fill out right online. They then sent me a USPS label that I attached to a small box and shipped the unit back to them. To make a long story short, they repaired my unit and sent it back. Day after I installed started doing the same thing. Sent unit back again and they sent a brand new one this time and it works great. Point is they stood behind their product no questions. Had constant timely communication and shipping times. They made it right with no grief. Kudos to Pedal Commander. Wish other manufacturers stood behind their product like this company does.
Thanks for sharing, it's great to hear about companies like this.
Hey thanks for video. I did not see which fuse you used.
I plugged it the fuse with the headlights. That way the Raptor lights come on with the auto headlights
Looks good. And thanks for the video. I have a 2016 Tacoma Sport that is charcoal grey so what color D ring would you suggest. Also I subscribed, take it easy.
Thank you!
I think yellow would look cool with the gray
Looks good but they are definitely more for show than recovery. Also, Robmotive put his on backwards (driver on passenger side, passenger on driver side) - by accident- but it allowed him to retain the factory tow hook.
Interesting
I like your ideas except line x. Bed liner I like better
I can understand that
Great thx
You're welcome!
My 2021 off road looks good as is. Nice stance.
If you like it, keep it as is for sure.
I had the choice of a 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, Double Cab, 6’ bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs or an identical 24 Tacoma. I chose the 23 because it’s a proven truck in reliability and durability. Historically a Turbo engine simply doesn’t last as long as a Naturally Aspirated (NA) engine. The 3.5L NA V6 has been around and improved significantly over the years. My last Toyota RAV Limited 4WD had the 3.5L V6 and a 5spd automatic transmission. I put over 300K miles on it. I sold it to a friend who always told me that if j ever wanted to sell my Rav, to let him know. He knows that I changed the oil and filter every 5K miles with Valvoline High Mileage Full Synthetic oil. I use the High Mileage oil from day one because it has additives that reduce engine wear. Every 60K miles the front and rear differential, transfer case and transmission fluid was changed. The brakes were bled every 60K miles as was the power steering fluid. Every 3 years or 35K miles the radiator was back flushed and new antifreeze was added. He gave me top dollar for my RAV. This is why I decided to buy my 23 Tacoma because I know the longevity, durability and reliability of the 3.5L V6, first hand. Both of my mom’s Lexus have had the 3.5L V6. I was talking to my friend who I sold my RAV to and it now has almost 350K miles and it still doesn’t burn oil. I know that a gasoline powered Turbo will NOT last for 200K miles without a major problem. We keep our vehicles for 15-20 years, or 300K miles or if it needs major repair, then we’ll sell or trade it in. I now only drive 6-7K miles per year and at my age my Tacoma will be the last vehicle I’ll ever own.
Great points!
I have gone with the TRD Red trim pieces.
Red trim looks great
@@DJXPLRS Yes I think so too
My TRD Off Road came with black leather, so I contacted Katzkin and they made me TRD Red leather seat covers with black trim and stitching. After Katzkin removed the black leather seat covers and installed the TRD Red Leather, I sold my black leather to a friend who had grey cloth interior in his TRD.
I want to get black with blue trim now to match my other blue accents
Weathertech bug deflector. Looks really good.
I need to get it
I've been debating on this. Has it been a noticable difference and did it add any wind noise? TY
Thanks I was thinking to do the 2" level but I don't like my front looking higher in the front at all
Gotta like how it looks and how it feels when you drive.
Perfect just like you said easy install. Only difference is i used a socket extention instead of a deep well sockets. In Hawaii we say "Mahalo"
Glad the video helped
I have black leather interior in my 23 Tacoma TRD, but I HATE BLACK and GRAY, so I’m having Katzkin make Red leather with black trim and stitching for my TRD. My friend also has a 23 Tacoma so I’m selling the black leather that’s coming out of my 23 Tacoma, as he has gloomy gray cloth seats in his TRD
Red leather will look incredible
@@DJXPLRS I think it will as well
The 2 tone seats in the Tacoma look Exactly what my seats looked like in my old 11 Ford Ranger XLT.
Non TRD level are pure gray seats. Terrible.
@@DJXPLRS Yep, every automaker has been shoving Gloomy Gray and Death Black interior colors down everyone’s throats since 1990 as their standard colors. My wife and I are sick and tired of those boring colors. My 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the Premium pkg came standard with Black leather interior. So I reached out to Katzkin and currently they’re making me Red with black trim and stitching custom leather seats and door trim. Once the new seats are installed, the black leather seats (covers) have already been bought by a friend who also has a 23 Tacoma with gray cloth interior. After the new Red is installed I’m having the bottom areas of the exterior painted in Barcelona Red Metallic paint and Red pinstripes. I’ll ten buy Red accents for some trim pieces for the interior of my truck. (My Tacoma is painted White). It will be a 1 of a kind once I’m finished with it. I’m old and drive around 5-6K miles a year so I plan on driving my Tacoma until I die.
I like the mods that are available for reasonable prices. Looking to purchase a 2023 TRD Tacoma Sport or the off road model. Thanks for sharing.
Good choice!
I just bought a 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road (6K miles), double cab 6’ bed, Premium pkg. I just got the K&N intake air filter, window vents and mud flaps. So now onto the interior…
All nice upgrades!
The only mod you featured I would purchase is the OEM Toyota bed mat. I have. The rest is cheap and janky Chinese crap.
Perhaps
What kinda lift is it
Just a 2" spacing block
First it's a 5 ft bed not 5.5 ft. And it's a good size bed if you happen to be a midget. Real men buy long beds...
I had the 2023 Trd Sports and this will be my retirement truck that is proven to last for many, many years to come.I couldnt be happier owning my 2nd Tacoma.💪
Right on
Does this fit 2024 Trd sport?
I would think so, the 4th Gen has different seats
Food tray/cup holder expander. Since ive gotten one i could never go back. So nice to have a decent flat surface to set little things or eat on. Its also a nice spot to mount a phone holder
Nice. I'm have to check it out.
Leaving a truck especially a beautiful 3rd gen Tacoma IMO is better if left stock. I really don't want to mess up the suspension and all. Before I purchased a Tacoma, I bought a used 2012 Chevy Colorado which shows the front end nose dive rake look. That got me to like the lift and leveling kit and actually got them both for the truck. It started out with 66,000 miles, been driving it for 5 years back and forth to work. I wanted another truck which is probably more reliable than the Colorado. So 3rd gen Tacoma it is. I am happy with the truck kept stock.
Great comment
@@DJXPLRS thanks! Great video!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Put the seat belt buckles in the slots there on the back of the seat
I finally figured that out 😂
Thank You!
You're welcome!
Hell no!
I like the conviction! 😆
Nice truck! And really like the taillight covers!
Thanks! I've loved having the tailgate covers.
Didn’t care for the spot , need the phone to tilt to me not down….
Agreed.
I just bought a Tundra yesterday and have been looking for a bed mat that would stop things from sliding around....for example a 25L gas jug. It would slide at the slightest breaking on the composite bedlamer. It looks like, based on your test, this accessory will be worth buying to prevent slipping. Thanks for posting.
Totally worth buying
Very helpful video!
Glad it was helpful!
There can be only one car mount … OffRoam … nothing and I mean nothing comes close.
I'll have to check it out
Great advice!
Glad it was helpful!
I like it!. Need something like that for my access cab.
I've loved my running boards
Thank you for your reply my friend. I found out that the fuse box actually has a small area with a release tab that allows a one to two inch section of the box to slide out and reveals a small hole to run wires then you can close the section. Of course the lid has to be off. It’s located on front left area of fuse box just below the lip. Pretty cool!
Nice
You didn’t show how you reinstalled your fuse box lid in terms of the wire getting pinched by lid or did you cut a notch etc.?
I just tucked the wire so the lid sorta of pinches it. But it doesn't pinch much and works really good.
Great video. I’ve looked at climate control rings but went with black replacement rings to get rid of the chrome or brushed aluminum accents that came on my TRD Sport. I’ve ordered black replacement rings for the Push Button Start and 4WD selector switch too. I like black interior (and no exterior chrome too) but will likely leave the brushed aluminum accents on the center console. Also have the Tyger Auto soft roll up cover. Bought it in May. It failed in November. Ordered a Truxedo Truxport to replace it.
All great mods. I'm surprised the Tyger Tonneau Cover failed. I've had nine for 2 years, but my Tacoma is always parked on a garage. I've heard it makes a difference. Hopefully the new kind you got will last a lot longer for you.
I bought one in May 2023 and it failed (locking mechanisms) in November. Reinstalled it three times but could not get the cover to close and latch down properly. Company offered to send replacement latches but I’ve opted to go with another brand. I’m sure Tyger Auto cover is good. It was for me for a while. Maybe I got a bad one. IDK. But going with another brand.
Sorry to hear you got a bad one.
