May I ask, What are you protecting the lights from? Runaway Shopping Carts? 😂🤣
Because any trail damage will be multiplied with these by crushing the protector into the light and paint.
Exactly. Most of the damage my vehicles have sustained over the years have been from parking lots. Like you said, shopping carts, etc. Plus, I like the black matte look.

Picked up a set for my 22’ Tacoma. You may see many on the road, but very few with these guards.
@@robfarrell9104 Thank you Rob for your support! Not a lot of makers would go for die cast aluminum route because this option is too expense to develop. 3M taped wire covers just don't look or feel the same.
Love the look man but I ordered the plastic razor motor covers from Amazon and they go for the same price. I like these cause they are metal but I noticed there’s a gap between the tailight and guard. For my special case I got my taillights tinted but the tint stretched all the corners and it looked all bad and trashy. So I want to find something that sticks on the edges and I found them perfectly from Amazon. If you want to see them they are called Razer Auto Gloss Black Taillight Tail light Cover (Black) for 2016-2017 Toyota Tacoma protectors from razor motors on Amazon they came in today and they come with tough 3m tape and no taking out the headlight just stick it right on. I like these but those other ones for sure helped me cover those ugly tint corners they were all wrinkly and nasty looking. Other than that thanks for the idea! Wouldn’t have found the other ones with out you. Thank you taco bro 😎
You're right. There is a gap, I'd prefer it if there wasn't. I'll check out the Razor Auto ones. Thanks for the recommendation

I've had it on for several months and really like the look. If I put custom lights on then I might change that.
