Without watching the video I know it's absolutely possible, since I'm an absolute masochist I tried something similar back in the day. It might be a little hard to kill high hp bosses like the henchman, but I seriously doubt killing a regenerator would be a fun endeavor without seeing the parasites. 😅

Just a footnote but the bugs weren't dying to one shot from the dynamic difficulty system but rather because they were flying. Even an unupgraded tmp shot can instantly kill them if they happen to be flying off the ground.

I always thought the same thing with transformations. Like surely they have to have transformed before so they can know how to use their new form, right? Like Krauser transforms between sword arm and regular form in mercenaries, so that was always my head cannon.

I remember beating the game using only knife and starting handgun (solely for enemies, that can't be touched in melee, like Salazar). The game is pretty liberal in that regard. Also this was how i found out, Krauser is super vulnerable to knives

Related to 1:50 heres a fun fact about re4s drop system. On pro you wont get more than 2 health items, normal has no restrictions. Handgun ammo will stop spawning when you have 70 rounds. If a handgun is your only weapon you will not be capped on ammo drops, and will get larger drops of ammo. Rifle rounds have no restrictions on the ammount of ammo you can carry. Shotguns is around 60 rounds. Ironically magnums also have no ammo cap, meaning if youre good at farming/ have good/ forced rng, theoretically, a magnum only run could be possible

I always used the Red 9 as my go to handgun in every new game I did, would fully upgrade it always. Power can be really good when the exclusive upgrade is done, but it's really way more fun to use the Punisher or the Blacktail.

The answer is: you can beat the game with any pistol 0:30 if you think the red9 was overpowered in re4 then you don't understand the level and balance of re4 (also you think re4 re is a balanced and well made game)

og is definitely harder then the remake, Ive got an S+ on professional and hardcore never even bothered to play standard, and ive beaten the original countless times over at least the past decade. if you compare both of them on professional id still say the original is harder

Sorry, saying it provides a full clip is still not correct. Your gun instantly fills up, if you were provided a full clip Leon would still have to reload the thing himself. Instead, the magazine is filled instantly!

The butchered it’s accuracy by removing the red dot sight and the rate of fire makes its DPS abysmally slower then the original. I hardly call them gun getting buffered verses the original even with a slight damage improvement.

I'm one of those, if you have to brake the rules for any reason than the run can't be done. The Harpoons do not count and the lanterns don't count, they are both part of the environment.

You’re dead wrong about some arbitrary speed limit to running, there is no such thing and even if there was, it has absolutely nothing to do with 9.8m/s, which is btw also NOT gravity because gravity is 9.8m/s^2. This entire section you have is pure nonsense. Cars don’t need downforce to go fast, cars can go supersonic without a significant downforce, cars use downforce to corner better, there’s no limitation on straight line speed. In face down force impedes you on straight line because you generate drag to generate downforce. For a legged vehicle or creature, gravity could limit you in terms of the mass ratio between your legs and main body. A giant robot for example might be limited in this way because they cannot make steps faster beyond a certain point. But if you had super thin and light legs, it would work the same as wheels and you have no speed limits other than atmospheric drag.

Going back to seeing original RE4. I do think the RE4 Remake is a great game, and it far exceeded my expectations of it (especially in the wake of the rather poor RE3 Remake), but I do have one (1) very, VERY big criticism. How dare they get rid of the "ballistics" line. That's like chiseling the dick off of Michelangelo's David to make it "more appropriate"; all they did was deface a national treasure lol
