Toto's Falling In Between line-up here is a combination of brilliances. Greg Phillinganes, Bobby Kimball, Tony Spinner, Steve Lukather, Leland Sklar and Simon Phillips. 🙂 Giving songs justice, like not just Africa, Rosanna and Hold The Line, but also Stop Loving You, Pamela, Drag Him To The Roof, Isolation, King Of The World and so much more. 🙂
This ain't the TOTO from HS with Africa and Rosanna💯I liked this a lot though 💯Red nobody on this earth could ignore you I just adore your sense of humor you are just FUN ❤❤❤❤❤#redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #redsarmy #beautifulfuncountrygirl #35K #heartofgoldwithmetalinhersoul #bestbadjokes #redheadedbarbiedoll
Some different members but always super talented musicians in Toto. The original drummer Jeff Porcaro died many years ago from a heart attack while spraying pesticide in his garden. At least that what I have always heard happened.
Hello Cleveland! 😂 I think that'll always be one of my favourite movies. I've got to admit Africa is the only song I ever heard from Toto. Oh and moustache, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs wasn't it?
I was fortunate enough to see TOTO live in Las Vegas in 2000 for the Mindfields tour WITH backstage passes and it was truly an unforgettable night! Stellar live performance and great guys as well! Well done Red!!
They are the best, those who only know Toto from Africa, Hold The Line or Rossana do not know this band at all. Their music is very varied, they play all styles, their lesser known songs are the best, I recommend listening to their entire extensive discography to see the true dimension of these geniuses.
Steve Lukather, Simon Phillips and Toto have always impressed me just as much live as Rush. Check out Toto "Better World".... th-cam.com/video/yUWs0sCbsNg/w-d-xo.html "Jake The Bone" ... th-cam.com/video/M-Ft8gpyQ4M/w-d-xo.html And “Dave's Gone Skiing”.
TOTO was one of those bands with a unique way of making music a harmony s and rhythms,TOTO was a band that was around for quite awhile . Then I don't know where they went too.Sorry for the TYPOs
Leland Sklar on bass. Another legendary bassist. You mentioned you enjoy the behind the scenes stuff. There’s a Rush doc called “Rushes Last Hoorah Time Stand Still” It’s about an hour and a half, but so very worth it. Maybe make a three or four parter out of it? Very well done vid.
An absolute legend! That he only had 5 days to learn the entire set having been asked at such short notice to fill in for Mike Porcaro still blows my mind.

Lesson number one: always listen to Toto's live version.
Great song that not many have reacted to.
Pure, seasoned, highly skilled talent. That drum sound is so fantastic.
Progressive Toto...yes unexpected....but in there pass they have been known to have some complex jazzy riffs
