This place isn't dangerous.. if you take unknown people in the car? Good travel 👍
RN 7 is nice way to see Madagascar. Someone if visited Namibia, maybe there are some similar views, regarding montains. Very sad country doe's have good road infrastructure and real development. Sky and sun are different from Europe. After Madagascar I reach toxicity on my viamin D level (I continued to take vitamin diring one month, it was not necessary). I think only sun is a big part of menu on island, even you don't eat much and diverse. It boost so much metabolic health. If you could find you place on island you are a happy person... Thanks to keep us in touch with the holy land😊😊😊...
You put this guy inside the car this time, is it because the previous one jumped out the back when you were driving. lol
Yes 😅 the Malagasy will just jump on the back as they never usually get invited to sit inside many don’t know how to open the car door most don’t shut the doors properly and have no idea how to open the window
How did you get your car from the nosy be to the main island of ferry how much did it cost
Yes car ferry , €30
Question how did you get your car from nosy bee to the main island if by ferry how much did it cost
your lights need adjusting - your main beam looks more like dip.
You could be driving the R2. Now that is a fun drive
You are from the UK and married a black woman and talk about passport bros? I thought that was a white mans dream to be with a black woman. How do the Madagascar men look at your wife over there. You make this vids to discourage us from but we coming. Bring capital and connection.
Every white man wants a black girl and every black man wants a white girl 👧 to be perfectly honest and you very little about what passport Bros was before I made this video. All I knew was once you’ve gone black there’s no going back.
@@passivenomads Dont do vids that are hypocritical bruh. I follow your vids and see how you look at women and how they shy away that don't want to be in your vids. Passport bruhs are looking for the same thing you were when you came to Madgascar 10 years ago.
@@passivenomads My preference is a black woman like me. That's why Black men travel to places where women have color in their skin. Every place you mentioned the women have black features. I have never thought about going to Europe. Most black men know the danger that exist dating white women.
Bruh you were a passport bro too. Where you from again? Stop hating you did the same thing. I watch your videos the working girls know you. Lmao stop bruh.
I’m from Liverpool, and yeah, I guess I was a passport bro when I first arrived in Madagascar Even though I didn’t know it at the time
@@passivenomads You are in a unique position. Why work hard and not smart bro? Passport bros are coming and you know the layout. Where to stay, where to get money exchanged and good girls the one they should meet or stay away from. A black man in Rio, John Thompson. When we landed in Rio he had drivers pick us up at the airport, gave us choices of nice places to stay before we landed and cell phones. We paid him for his services. The locals gave up there houses for 1 week and made more money than they earned in a month. One Driver took us to all the hot spots in the city and we paid him well. If you created this for Madgasy business they would love you more.
Road is really good in video Bill (what a little luxury on your huge trip) . Wear a Seatbelt Mate , think of your Family . 👍🙏🍻
This car will be sold in Toliara I hope 🤞 as I don’t want it any more it’s too old

Please have fun in Tulear my dear friend....your dear doctor friend from Germany 😊 See you soon in Nosy again
Thanks and looking forward to seeing you
If you were on main/high beam, your headlights need adjusting upwards!
Good going brother Keep it up Drive safe ahh…
I went to buy my licence in Hellvile, all was good, 500,000 was the cost, i was about to pay and then wait 2 weeks for it, i asked the woman if there was a finger print meant to go on it, she said no but a thumb print is needed for the record which i was told i had to travel to Diego to give them my finger print. So i didnt bother. Wankers.
Yes the permits are issued in Diego
@@passivenomads They were willing to send my new licence to Hellville but wouldnt let me send my thumb print to Diego by email. Im sure all the people sitting in the class room doing the test didnt have to all go off to Diego to give their thumb print in person. 500,000 + airfare to Diego return + hotel, taxi fares and no doubt an extra cost at the licence office + all the stress they like to cause, No thanks. So anyone thinking about just buying/swapping their licence, there is the info for you.
road is getting really bad,in february i went to Tulear and at night driver hit big rock hidden in pothole or better small lake in the road so his gear controls were gone we were driving next two hours in 1st gear till reaching small town, luckily they sent other vehicle,Cotisse is really good company i have seen road toward Tulear is now deteriorating quickly too, before it was quite decent what do you think new highway Tana Tamatave will be finished? president says it will be finished till 2027 but out of 260 kms i could find about 15 kms of soil being moved,no bridges yet or tarmac, they say it is 30 but google says differently and that takes them almost a year by that pace it will not be finished in next ten years specially government says they are building it with their own money meaning they got no loans for it i bet road will creep forfard with snail pace
@@danieleverywhere132 i wouldn’t hold my breath for the government to come and fix that road if it’s a 10 year plan forget it may never happen
@@passivenomads No, plan is to finish road till 2027,that 10 years was my remark. But they are not able even to maintain old road which is getting worse and worse. I watched new route on Google map and it is meandering around every hill there is making it no highway,at best motorway, obviously they plan to build it on the cheap which i could undersand tunnels and bridges cost a lot, even Montenegro has huge problems to finish their only higway
I did Tana to Tamatave road with car with driver last week, it took almost 14 hours at night do to bad road condition, it got worse than when I did it 2 and half months ago which took 24 hours do to an accident.
Let’s hope they manage the new road construction well

Cairo we are in winter in the southern hemisphere.
Yes I have found that out, I guess I forgot that is can be cold at night
Cost of labour is for-nothing there. A shame that Mada hasn't become a manufacturing centre. Roads and trains are terrible but an industrial port city could do well.
Do you offer mentoring?
Not really but if you email me what you want to know I will give you my advice passivenomads@gmail.com
@passivenomads even disabled benefits in Seychelles is Five hundred euros. Lowest salary here is 600 euros. Cannot compare Seychelles and Madagascar as there different variables to compare, but Seychelles is ranked the country with highest GDP per capita in Africa. But my friend Seychelles with 500 euros as a salary you will struggle more than a salary of 70 euros a Malagasy gets, My country is dame expensive to live. We have a lot of Malagasy working here and some also married to Seychellois men. My Great grandparents were Malagasy, my mums surname Malagasy Ahtala
It’s hard for most of the world to survive in 2024 with high inflation hitting every country and its citizens.

Hello Bill, hope your trip south is going well. No more sleeping in the car my good man. So, what did you say the Mazda is worth in US dollars or Euros? Gotta buy something to drive when I retire there next year. Building a house in suburban Toamasina and just bought a 3 hectares of land with a beautiful hilltop view of the Indian Ocean just north of Fenerive Est. Really looking forward to building there next and spending my mornings seeing the sunrise with my coffee and croissants 😂
That Mazda is serving you well Bill, the goal should be a land cruiser the older the better bomb proof, or Mada proof,
I would love a land cruiser LC 70
Good to see you Bill.
Bro look like you are used travelling in mada. Once I tried Tana to Tamatave and it was the 1st and last ride there. That was a nightmare. Now I'm waiting for the new road to be ready or else I'm not ready yet to do an 8hr ride
Yes, you are right it’s hard work
Antsirabe may be full of poverty, but it looks in better shape than Toxteth 😆
@@janellek21 need to bring back Curtis Warren park roads gone down hill since he went on his long holiday
It could've been worse...you could have been making that trip in a taxi brousse!
The Taxi bus 🚌 is an extremely hard trip in Madagascar flying is the way to get around Madagascar if you have the funds
Nice city, place where the actual President of Madagadcar was born. Chilly time of year on the one of coldest place in Madagascar. At my time found accomodation even with 20000 ar/day, ussualy my target price on accommodation. Passed evening of Easter among Malagasy on central square (big concert, various games). No one pointed on me or assaulted me, so I survived. Bought 12 kg of avocados at Basar Be with 800 ar/kg and ate them during 1 month in Europe with friends. Woman was really excited and happy her product will reach Paris. There is THB factory in Antsitabe, so you can make a deal.😊 Hope you have a good angel with you on your amazing trip to the south. Tell us regarding situation about destroyed road near Ilakaka, curious something was done or nothing changed...
Don’t worry, I have two angels that follow me around. The roads are completely knackered from 250 kms north of Toliara all the way down

I really appreciate your content, I would like to ask you, do you think the economy of the country and the island will be increasingly based on tourism or something else? Thanks (make moore content please)
@@ghermaiberhu7284 I’m not sure 🤔 as Madagascar is improving every year there’s more and more cars more and more motorbikes. People seem to be having more assets including more buildings getting built all the time things do seem to develop in a lot of the country, but I don’t believe the tourism is increasing in Madagascar. It’s more and more difficult for flights internal and on top of that the price of flights to get here is around €1000 return so it’s not a cheap holiday destination and then there’s a problem with corruption and a bad roads internal transportation by cars is a nightmare. Sometimes I think the country is improving other times. I think that we’re 50 years behind the rest of the world and always will be.
@@passivenomads Infrastructure could be improved if there was perhaps a greater need for the trade of goods between the various areas and above all if there were production centers capable of producing them and if these two were perceived as a profitable investment. Almost always the problem of developing countries is that the population cannot afford to spend and consequently these markets are not perceived as attractive. Can we say that the country falls into this typology? Thank you
@@ghermaiberhu7284yes I never really thought of it like that but yes that makes sense to me.
@@ghermaiberhu7284 Mada island is not a developing country, it is a seating rock, from where few local families milk all money possible. Even the Chinese are only investing pennies.
@@passivenomads Being 50 years behind the rest of the world isn’t such a bad thing, quite appealing actually.
omg ur Mazda pickup is getting battered - find a garage in nosy be to undertake regular servicing/checks so that u don't suffer roadside breakdowns. shock absorbers need replacing every 100,000kms. replaced the front shocks on my subaru a few weeks ago, cost was $550 for bilstein units, labour extra.
@@rayjones6497 get your popcorn 🍿 ready Ray the story of MR. Mazda is about to explode
Given the state of Madagascar's roads even a Sherman tank would get battered.
@@janellek21 if the vehicle was thoroughly checked after each long journey, any loose bolts/worn out parts could be replaced in nosy be, and the vehicle ready for the next long run to antanarivo or toliara. breaking down on a long journey due to steering arm/suspension/brake problems is avoidable with preventative maintenance.
