Mosasaurus sucks at fighting IMO. The turn radius is like 3 mile. Even trying to kill a fish takes multiple turn to hit it

i actually go with Spino instead of rex just cause Rex saddle costs metal. which normally i dont have much of, you do need Silica pearls for its saddle. Not with tickle chicken though, as its saddle costs 55 Metal, if you have less metal Choose spino. but if you have alot of metal i strongly tell you to choose either Tickle chicken or Rex

I haven't tried scorched earth yet but from my tests you can't bring those into boss fights.

Poison wyverns are awesome for pve or pvp as long as you have a couple gas masks in your back pocket and are an accurate shot. My favourite Wyverns are the Ice Wyverns, I'm just waiting for their rerelease with Ragnarok.

Poison Wyverns are really good... when the ball of poison goes in the direction it's aimed. The wild ones are goddamn professional snipers, but tamed wyverns shoot like stormtroopers. Still, they look phenomenal even when they aren't green (mutations), and the big impact damage numbers are very satisfying. Great video as always

They will SHRED a boss but you absolutely need something to tank for them. I tend to use a pair of mate boosted rexes or yutys.

Maybe they will add this in the future since they low-key botched the gigantoraptor by adding it to the game so early on.

Giga will always be my fav.if carcha didn't have that pathetic roar I'd be all over it but emersion is important, and there's just a feeling you get on a giga you can't get from other dinos.however,carcha is faster,more agile,and lack of rage mode makes it more ideal in pvp settings.pve and single player don't have to worry bout that so it's preference really.but it does seem faster for those meat runs to load the hatchery if using a carcha.but ultimately the giga will be my favorite tame in this category

If the bat was faster and/or could cling to flyers, it would be a great guardian for your flying mounts. But as it stands, it’s just useless. We all saw this one coming, but thank you for confirming that you were right the first time

I have been determined to make an army out of these guys since I first saw the official art. I love the various prehistoric crocodilomorphes, and the fact that they have such fantastic stats thrills me. Although with what a miserable experience it is to tame them, they better be good. I’m still taking my time on the island, so I spawn them in wild and tame them in the forest on the Western coast line (just because I’m spawning the man doesn’t mean I’m not going to work for it). I think I have it in me to tame maybe two or three more before I throw my hands up and accept whatever stats I have

I love having the creature, but of there is so much as a 6 inch shift in elevation, taming them is just awful.

Honestly, I still have faith in them. I think the megapithecus might be a bad choice for them because they don’t reflect the rock damage. I might have to try it out on my own at some point. But yeah, the no saddle thing really hurts them. Thank you for trying it out though, you definitely gave them a strong fighting chance

So I knew that these guys were boss capable the first time I saw their stats. And I don’t love that they are so good at travel and boss fighting and have really unique utility roles outside of that. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fantastic creature, it looks great, wildcard really gave us a fantastic creature: it just feels a little overtuned, like maybe they didn’t need to cover so many bases at once (their stamina is stunning). Still, it’s great to be getting actual prehistoric creatures in the game again, and I’m excited to breed up my own and take them into the arena. 9/10 creature, 10/10 video. Thank you buddy!

I guess the procoptodon can’t be good at everything. Honestly I think the biggest thing keeping them out of a Bossfight is how hard it is to find them. Getting a breed line going with really strong starting stats would take forever

Look, I’m not saying the terror bird should be capable of running a boss might like this, but it should be good for something. They are just so sad. So many species of terror birds, so many ecological niches, so many cool things you could do with them; and instead we have a weak creature that is surprisingly difficult to knock out for its weight class and underperforms against other medium sized carnivores in at least one if not all aspects, from health and damage to speed and stamina. The one unique ability they have was just given to the Gigantoraptor, and it never made sense for the terror bird to have it anyway. I appreciate you giving them the fighting chance though, just to hammer in the last nail of their coffin

So I know what I commented about Garuga’s work on another video, but I think that the deinosuchus is his best balanced creature, even if it probably deserves a higher tier of kibble. It is considerably slower than the sarco, So it doesn’t compete for a niche. But I think they could even take on the bird mother. They also looks so damn good

As much as I want to use them for boss fights, the only way to balance these guys is to remove them from the Bossfight. Not because of climbing, but because otherwise they would be able to fulfill literally every creature’s role in the game. They are a great travel creature, they have solid weight, they can kill basically anything, they are stunningly good underwater, and as a carnivore you can force feed them to healed. If thylas could go into the arena, they would need a serious nurse for the sake of game balance. It disappoints me a little, but I would rather have our super strong marsupial kitties as they are

Garuga does absolute top tier work, no doubt about it. But a lot of his creatures are just too strong for my taste. They overshadow most other things in the game, and everything in their own weight class. These guys are unreasonably powerful for the size and rank of creature they are presented as, and that’s a sentiment that is echoed with a lot of his other creatures. So if you put any of the ark addition creatures in the ring, I’ll hazard a guess that they can boss. Not saying they are badly made, just overtuned

I played with a guy who really only wanted to use the wolves. He insisted we take them into the Bossfight, and we ended up using mammoths and sloths to tank while the wolves did the damage. Honestly, it worked pretty well, but that guy did add a mod so dire wolves could get saddles, which definitely screws with the results. I have seen two other people use dire wolves against the bosses without saddles, however: Syntac and Rampy. But they do require so much more effort than other creatures do to be boss capable. Also, I’m so sorry about your mouth. I appreciate all the work you put into these videos, with or without the extra pain, and I especially appreciate that you were willing to suffer to give us this wonderful Contant. But please take care of yourself, we can always wait a little while longer for the next video❤️

It needs to be bigger, it needs to apply some kind of crippling debuff with its tail, and it needs armor resistance, maybe an ability to reduce its movement speed to zero and take even less damage as it squats on the ground, like that sivatherium mod (wildwaghorn, I think). But I’m curious how it would perform against a boss that does less knockback like the brood mother. It still probably wouldn’t work, but I think they might have a better chance. I had no idea what to expect from this one, but these videos never failed to provide succinct analysis of why an outcome occurs, instead of simply stating that the outcome has occurred. That’s why I keep coming back

Nooooooooo! My favorite water creature, you have been violated! This was humiliating to watch. These crocodiles are so good underwater. I’ve killed everything in the ocean with them, and I have outrun everything with a pulse on them as well, but as long as they have this bug, it’s just not possible. Very sad, but a good demonstration of this issue. Hopefully someone at wildcard sees this and fixes it

We ask for this one because everyone shits on the allosaurus. There is a core of allosaurus fans, and everyone else thinks that it’s just a worse version of a couple other different dinosaurs. I’m working on my own allosaurus mutation lines to take on the parade mother myself for that same reason: to show my friends that this isn’t just a weaker Rex, it’s a super fun boss fighter that can run around crazy fast and shred alphas between fights

See, I really want to do this just to give the rhino the respect it deserves. I have friends with very limited opinions about what is and is not acceptable in this game, and while I am working on my mutation lines to prove them wrong, I think I can just direct them to your channel. Thank you buddy! You’re helping me prove my point that in a game with dozens of creatures to choose from, more than five of them are viable.

As much as I like the Carnotaurus, let’s be honest, if the carno could do it, the bary can do it better. Still good to see it confirmed. I wonder how they would do against the broodmother? I doubt the water in her arena is deep enough for them to do their tail attack in, and it certainly would not work on the boss, but it might work on minions

They have better stats than rexes. Only shame is how long it takes them to breed outside of aberration. You are still a gem of a channel, and I appreciate the work you do

LETTTSSSSS GOOOOOO!!! A carno was my first real tame in this game, and it carried me through so much. Even after discovering the glory that is the thylacloeo, I still hold a soft spot for these guys. It made me so happy to see this happen. Thank you!
