Beautiful, as is the music!
It is so good to hear chops like this at a tempo that allows for every note to be heard. Also the guitar tone is wonderful. Well recorded. Thank you.
My neice starts school jazz band this month on guitar.. been spamming her with your vids!
That is some really great playing. Beautiful guitar too. But... Where is the distortion, delay, and reverb??? (kidding)
The fret buzz we've heard in prior songs is gone! Thank you. Nice guitar and the pianist shined also. Wish you came of age in the 1950s; you would have given Kenny Burrell a run for his money.
Very relaxing ❤
Merry Christmas beautiful lady beautiful song, beautyful playing! What else can I say.....
Now this….is perfection
am hearing Billie Holiday phrasings. you're a true inspiration, Jocelyn
Great show Jocelyn. Keep up the good work ❤
What a God given talent from Jocelyn. To sing well and back yourself so beautifully with jazz links and riffs. (When required) but also having some great jazz musicians around you ❤
When will ep11 come out?
Jocelyn is enigmatic. (in a good way!)
Such an inspiration. I stream your vids onto the tv, pick up my guitar and stumble along like a shoved drunk on a Friday night, totally inspired by you and your band's playing.
What's the deal with the wall between the bass player and the drums? It looks portable. Is there some band drama or something?
It was wonderful to see how the phrase for F7 was developed. Thx!
Bluesy 😎👍 😍😍😍
❤
Wonderful, thx!!
Is interview short for….interior view? Sounds correct to me…what say you?
Portrait of rite now makes me feel good. Very nice ..yesssss
Sweet stuff y’all.
Great stuff y’all…..Tom
This is just exquisite! ❤
Hi Jocelyn, can’t believe it’s a week since you played your gig in Arthur’s Dublin. What an incredible gig! Hoping you’ll be back here soon! David
The SOUNDS!
Saw you on the pedal show. Fab interview. Love your work.
Jocelyn you are so talented and the guys too it’s a pleasure to listen to all of you playing ! I don’t miss a video ❤ greetings from France ! We also have good food and wine 🍷
Dear Jocelyn - what a wonderful arrangement of this Cole Porter tune… I have loved listening to this… Is it possible to get a lead sheet of this arrangement? Blessings John
Keep it going!
Name that I tune! "Turn Me Around" ❤
What strings are you using? Great playing!
Keep the good old jazzguitarsound and riffs alive! Thnx
Beautiful, great composition, this is jazz and musicality blended by a masterful technique. I dream to see one day a jam session between you and our Eleonora Strino, i believe we will see something epic 😊🎉
Definitely subscribed! Saw you on That Pedal Show and liked the episode very much. You definitely have a natural easy way of explaining things. Now I'm off to see if you have any mini lessons in your playlists😊 Take care.
Jocelyn you so humble. Amazing nice perform
You guys are so great. I love your crispy clean guitar tone too. So nice. Also digging those Wes Montgomery octaves.
Swangs her ass off!
Jocelyn are you fan of John Coltrane ? I ear a bit of Coltrane legacy in your music ! I love your playing ❤ I wish you the best for you career 🙏
Осень интересная постановка руки
Working my way through these ... one per evening. really entertaining, thanks!
❤ your playing Jocelyn! Big fan!
Very Good, but GM still has the best rendition in my book.
This is fun way to learn stuff. It’s not to tiring when it’s broken up in between listening, and is therefore a nice balance. Appreciate it! Also I like how relaxed the whole vibe is.
I'm getting addicted to this band
Beautiful tone, what kind of pickups do you have on your guitar.
Joy to listen!
It's funny i was just listening to Charlie Parker the other day playing that egsacted same track.
Hi Jocelyn. I’m loving your new album, “Portrait of Right Now”! I have a couple of questions for your next installment of “The Jocelyn Gould Show.” First off, with all due respect to Devon, it’s apparent that you, Will and Kevin have playing together for “a minute.” Jazz is obviously a language but then on top of that, there’s that musical telepathy that happens the more you play with the same people. What does it feel like on the bandstand and, alternatively, how do you and your band mates keep it sounding fresh? Second question: Like many a JG fan, I discovered you and your music via your appearance on “That Pedal Show.” Did your professional life “ blow up” after that aired on YT?
👍❤️ Great
