Great video comparison, Most reviews on the model of light is usually on the RGB version, not many reviews on the Daylight version - glad to see this review in the daylight version Can I ask your opinion though, if this light has enough power to just light or even just add a little bit of contrast to a backlit subject under the shade with the sun behind nearing sunset or during golden hour? Looking for a portable, battery powered light, that has enough power to not necessarily to overpower the sun, and have been considering and eyeing this light especially for the price. Good review and straight to the point
I'm just starting out in the film world and trying to get a kit together with Godox lights. I'm mainly filming cinematic youtube sit down videos in my bedroom and living room with some control over lights, but for sure have some spillage here and there as its a average apartment. I really like the godox UL150 and the VL200 but don't know what power range to get. is the VL200-300 to much? would love your advice on this! BTW, love this video and your channel!!

This is very helpful to me. Thank you, All About Videography. The A7iii surprised me doing as well as it did. Maybe I'll hold off upgrading for now and spend the money on a faster lens.
If I knew what I know now about the a7iv, I would not upgrade. My A7iv overheated after 45 min and was shot down.
The lens closest to the light source is plastic. I just got one of these and im going to use it on low power for short time frames. Definitely useful for videography but dont melt that lens

It is 4.85lb payload. So it depends with what lens you'll use it. But they do advertise it as a mirrorless camera gimble.

If all I had to shoot was medium shots interviews, then definitely the ML30 KIT. Otherwise, the ML60.

Great review! Does the “Scene” functionality in the app work when you group 2 lights together, so that you can set up a studio ‘portrait’ scene, with key light at one % power, and fill light at another %?

That Godox case alone adds so much value. I’m not gonna lie, I love my Aputure cob 60x but that case is ridiculous for travel. Takes up so much space and can’t add your own accessories to the case
