    Thanks for sharing your review. I like the Godox mount and I was about to buy this light. But I found out the accessories are actually very limited after I dug a bit deeper. The barn door mentioned in this video is BD-10. It only works on the AD300Pro reflector, and it only comes with one 50 degree honeycomb grid. The reflector that comes with ML-60 doesn't accept any grids in the market, as far as I can tell. So at the moment Godox softbox AD-S60S with grid option, AD-R14 reflector for AD300Pro (with gel and again one 50 degree grid) are the only accessories that can be accepted on the Godox mount based ML-60 . Don't know why only 50 degree grid? Maybe 50 degree on the 5" reflector is equivalent to the 30 degree grid on the 7" reflector, which is the most popular one by most photographers?

      You are right.
      There are not many accessories for this light. I got barn doors and grid for this light and was very disappointed by how it mounts to the light and overall quality of it.
      It is not mounted to the light through the light mount like the included reflector. It slides on to the light.
      If you don't want to be limited to the accessories this mount offer than get the Godox S2 Speedlite S-Type Bracket, Bowens Mount

      @@AllAboutVideography Yeah, I think it is because the round adapter of the barn door is meant to click onto the AD300Pro reflector, not designed for ML-60. I had to dig out a Japanese and French TH-cam review to understand how it works :-). S2 bracket is an option, but for ML-60 which is designed for mobility in my opinion, it defeats the purpose by putting it on a S2 bracket, and also there is no place to hang the battery pack on the S2 bracket. I like the Godox mount, but Godox needs to do more to promote this mount. If I were Godox, I would throw in a lot money to build a ecosystem around the Godox mount.

      I agree with you.
      I actually talked about it in a review I did between the ML60 and the Sokanl X60.

      @@AllAboutVideography I recall that review now. The rattling sound did influence my thinking about Bowen mount vs Godox mount :-). I will leave a comment there.

    Great video and review. Do you think its powerful enough to use outside in normal daylight as a fill or skylight. Tha km again .

      It is on the borderline. At one point, I had used the sl60 with a reflector to shoot a short scene. I had to be close to the talent. Also, it was an overcast day.

    Such a great review - thank you! I am a still photographer just starting out offerring short 1-3 minutes branding videos for my clients as well. I am looking for a video light I can use both for a food/product photography (as a supplement to my strobes: Godox AD600 + AD200). Question 1: Do you think this newer ML60 will be powerful enough to help me make short branding videos - could be a ceramist working in different spots in her workspace - some close ups, some takes further away, but typically not far away in a huge room. I would like to be able to make a bit of slowmotion but this will typically be very close to the subject so I could bring the light close to it. Question 2: Would the SL150ii be a better choice you think (keeping in mind I will definitely prefer portability but of course need enough power)? Thank you a lot in advance - very great video from you 🙏🏻

      @AllAboutVideography  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let's starts with this. More power is better than less.
      With that said, I think the ML60 will be sufficient enough with a medium-size softbox.

      @SusanneGeert 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AllAboutVideography Thank you ;-) When you say medium-sized softbox will my 95 cm (with a new mount) be a great solution - or should I go with the 60 cm that Godox made specific for the ML60?

      @AllAboutVideography  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you don't need the portability, then get the VL 150. It is a great light.
